We slept in Hotel Farah during our stay for the MNS Conference 2019. The rooms with furniture were a bit old and not what we expected from the pictures from booking.com however the price - quality ratio was good. The staff was friendly however we had some issues, like at least twice once per day we had to exchange our key card cause it was not working. We had to change rooms cause the AC was as well not working and then in the second room after the technician repaired the toilet the whole room was flooded...we came back in the middle of the night and found everything under water. So we had to change to a third room. Hence of this problems I was speaking to the receptionist and they offered us a free dinner in the hotel restaurant which was a nice concession. For the price I can recommend the hotel but maybe it is better to pay a bit more and sleep in another hotel close by.

Just returned after a week in this hotel. Having read the reviews the night before coming , I had very low expectations. How surprised we were on arrival to find such a good hotel at a very affordable price. The room we had 546 was very nice but sadly lacking any tea or coffee making facilities. We were breakfast only which was always pleasant but felt maybe an egg station and a toaster would have given a little more variety. Having said that we never left hungry. The pool area is good but a little quiet, with nice gardens all around. We found the staff very keen to please especially the receptionists and the beverage Manager. The hotel is approx 8 minutes walk to the nearest shopping mall , but there are no smaller shops nearer. I would definitely return here as we had a very good time without paying silly money. Next time I would go full or half board because we popped into the main restaurant one night and the food looked really nice, but we were unable to upgrade. Must say the little Italian/ Moroccan restaurant serves good meals.

We stayed at Hotel Farah for 2 nights (9th to 11th June 2019) Cannot recommend hotel as we found it lacking in all respects. Arrived at 2.30pm with no room available. Kept us waiting for hours and then gave us one room( of two booked). Staff was rude and unhelpful. Charged extra for use of safe in the room. Also took several visits before the safe was operative. Breakfast buffet was of poor quality. I believe there are several good places to stay in Marrakech. Please do a thorough survey before you choose the rather insipid Hotel Farah.

The hotel has nice gardens with lot of trees and nice pool. It is in Hivernage area, which is near to the Old City but in a modern area, with other hotels nearby. You can walk around 30 minutes to reach the Jemma Al Fna square. It is also near to Qutubia and Al Mamounia hotel. Menara Mall is very close around 5-7 minutes walking. The reception was good and helpful. The room was fine, beds and sheets clean and the bathroom also clean but the rest of the equipment was very old, need renovation. The amenities were poor in the bathroom and there was not coffee maker of just water in the room. Breakfast was also poor and not tasty. The outdoor areas of the hotel were very nice clean and green. In conclusion, its a medium standard hotel, not 4**** you may consider it as a 3*** hotel, but I think location is very good!!!!

Four stars? Maybe thirty years ago, but now it's run down and worn out. Slowly decaying and just seems to be heading for a serious make-over. Shops inside are closed and so are most of the restaurants. Breakfast is an experience to be avoided. Stale left-overs from the day before kept at a tempareature that makes sure that the food is seriously dangerous to eat. Never been presented with breakfast like this - totally uneatable sna poses a risk to your health. Leave alone and find something else.
