We were able to book transfers to pick us up from the airport. Ibrahim came to greet us from the taxi which was a 2 minute walk away from the Riad and took our bags. He guided us through all the hustle and bustle of the busy street, down alleyways (which was a bit daunting) to arrive at this beautiful large door. On entering we just went wow. It was so peaceful and quiet compared with the noise outside. We received tea and biscuits on arrival and Ibrahim was very informative of local attractions and places to go. We stayed for 3 nights and the breakfast each morning was something a little different and fresh. We especially loved the roof terrace to relax too. Overall our stay was fabulous with excellent hospitality, the Riad and rooms were very clean and comfortable, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you. …
We spent two wonderful nights here, and wished we’d had a few more. From the moment we were created by Youssef, our amazing experience began! This riad is decorated so thoughtfully with calm colours and many spaces. The rooftop is lovely and we had it all to ourselves, although there are many places to choose to sit so it would never feel overcrowded. The small pool was perfect after a hot day out. Breakfast was fresh and amazing, and came with another lovely greeting each morning from Ibrahim. Staff, service, stay were all impeccable. Highly recommended!
We were visiting to attend a wedding and chose Dar Silsila over El Fenn!! We are so pleased with our choice and our stay. You get special attention every minute of your stay. The owner Alex knows "hospitality". We were blown away with Alex's willingness to help make sure we had the best time in Marrakeech - he negotiated taxi prices, arranged for car and driver, made sure the attractions were available/open ----- what else is left?!! The Riad is absolutely cozy with the old world charm and all the modern amenities. Great location, very friendly staff and very clean rooms; delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this Riad and we will definitely stay here during our next visit.
My wife and stayed here with some family whilst attending Marrakesh for a wedding. Generally the hotel is in excellent order and very beautiful. The roof terrace is lovely and a great venue for breakfast (which is excellent) or drinks. The hotel staff are generally very friendly and helpful and always on hand to give advice or help. The only slight negative is that the staff are insistent on keeping people quiet during the evening/night and can be a little rude in enforcing this. Great location for the Médina and souks and would recommend for a stay.
This Riad Is amazing! Just inside the Medina (old town) of Marrakesh. From the outside you never imagine what's inside. Great (slow but very friendly) service, amazing traditional decorations and attention to every detail. Each room is different but very good, clean, comfortable beds. Some amenities are provided (soap, shampoo, bottled water). Breakfast is included, good breakfast.
197/5000 Great location near the Djemaa El Fna market, very friendly staff, great breakfast, the room was nicely equipped, cleanliness was excellent .. in short, everything was great and we highly recommend this accommodation.
This place is very beautifully decorated, clean and quiet, a true sanctuary from noisy alleys. I had an opportunity to check six rooms, as we were more travelers, and all of them were really nice and cosy. Special word needs to be sad about the splendid terrace where you can enjoy and relax. We had a warm welcome when we arrived. I would specially like to mention Hassan, who was very attentive, talkative, always smiling and very nice to us. Thank you.
Beautiful riad and a perfect location in the center of medina. Although in the center it is a sancturay from the madness of the medina. Rooms are beautiful and clean, bed is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, Hassan was great.
I have been to lots of riads all over morroco. Riad silsila is one of them. In fact its two riads in one. Really like the terrace on top with palms garden very near and birds tweets However one bad thing happened when i came in after 8pm and knocked the door. Mr Hasan opened and gave me that odd look! While still holding the door and not allowing me in! First time such thing happens to me! I told him my room is inside He asked : who are you? I told him my name. Then he replied: i don’t know you! Very strange attitude! I told him i already checked in and you are not allowed to stop me! I thought he would stop But then he replied: i can stop you!!! I stopped talking that moment and yes: My day was screwed!! I walked again in old souk just to move out all the tension mr Hasan gave me!! And for the riad owner: I am salem and i checked in wed 20 feb and this happened around 8pm So if you are willing to go to this wonderful riad . Be ready to introduce yourself properly to mr Hasan Nice stay …
Great Riad. Quiet but central. Terraces great - invited to spread out , read, watch the sunrise ( did so at 8 am) or sunset. Breakfast varied and very fresh. Very friendly and polite staff. Beds comfortable. Shower a bit ancient but worked well.
