We booked this hotel with Hotelopia. They confirmed it was a clean and relax hotel. But It was not. Our room was horrible, dirty and there was bed bugs. We requested to move out after a night but the hotel staff refused to give us our money back as we had paid for a few nights in advance. STAY AWAY...

The Moroccan House hotel is located in Gueliz, the modern part of marrakech, far 25 minutes walking and 5 minutes by taxi (which cost can vary from 1 to 5 euro, there are no rules for taxi rate); the area seems to be quit, without significant problems for tourists also if you decide to walk to the centre. Its style...

Got back last night from a week in Marrakech - what an experience!!!. The hotel decor is fabulous although we can see why people say it is over the top but at least it has character and not just a bland hotel where you could be anywhere in the world. The staff are great and the room cleaners never seem...

Stayed - 12th Dec - 15th We booked Moroccan House as a last minute break and for £100 for 2 people B&B for 3 nights and thought we couldn't really go wrong for that price! The transfer from the airport was 100dhs (aprox £8) - don't pay more than this, they will ask for about 200dhs to start. We had...

The hotel is absolutely awful and has no redeeming factor. It smells, the rooms stink, the beds are uncomfortable, the showers hardly work, the breakfast is awful. On the whole, please avoid!!!!

4 night stay 17/11/09 - 21/11/09 As four girls staying for the first time in Marrakesh or Morrocco - we found the Morrocan House Hotel a brilliant place to stay. It is even better in real life than in the photos on the website. Very beautiful tile work and decor, rooms were fine and clean. Hotel staff very friendly. Lovely...

We have just got back from a weeks holiday in Morocco. After reading some reviews about this hotel I was a bit worried about staying there. We were greeted warmly by the reception staff and our rep. Yes the decor in the hotel is way over the top, but then staying in Morocco that's all part of the experience! We...

We decided on a spur of the moment to book a short break to Marrakech with Easyjet. I can honestly say we had a fab time. Easyjet where great to deal with (despite what a lot of people say about them). The staff were freindly and helpful and the plane was clean and on time. Once we landed in Marrakech...

The Hotel is in traditional riad style, clean, maintained, with help[ful efficient staff. Meals are served traditionally, and are adequate.Breakfast is basic - cereals , some cold meats, bread and biscuits with abundant teas and coffee. The Hotel is alcohol free, but a beer or wine can be obtained at the Lebameese restuarant next door, or at the caspian Hotel...

We visited the Moroccan House Hotel in September after booking through a travel company which mistakenly rated it as 4*. Be careful as I have still seen it on a number of well known websites since we got back still being marketed as such. Its true rating is 3* but is closer to a 2* by European standards. Beds were...
