Do not expect too much from this hotel. It has good location in the old town. Take a map or 100 dirham for the guide because you'll gonna lost. Hotel is inexpensive but you need to expect city tax fees (about 50 dirhams per night per person). In January it's cold at night and don't expect heating in the rooms:)... More

Stayed her with my three children, husband and mother. Staff could not care less. Room was cleaned once in 7 days! Charged extra for city tax and air conditioning, it was 50 degrees! Food was overpriced and not worth it. Pool was a muddy puddle, my children all had sore tummies after a dip. Management was a riot, stayed up... More

I booked this hotel via Expedia as it was cheapest for 3 nights. Unfortunately I ignored some of the warnings on TripAdvisor. On arrival, the lady at the reception desk confirmed my booking but was unwilling to check me as a guest unless i paid 150MAD extra. Apparently this was terms of my bookings by Expedia. I was asked to... More

Our first civvy trip to Marrakech and didn't really know what to expect. There's only so much guide books and personal reviews will tell you about a place. It's about finding out for yourself. Positives; it's beautiful in the architecture sense. We did get lashings of hot water for showers in the morning. It's in the heart of Medina in... More

No heaters in rooms. They expect you to pay EXTRA HOTEL FEES and city tax fees per person per night so do not be foold by the cheap online prices. You will not be able to argue your case once you get there no matter what it says on your itinerary. Disgusting customer service. The so called hotel manager smokes... More

They overbook to make sure to be always full - and when we arrived, they didn't have our rooms. We had paid and had our confirmation with us. The managers wife was in the lobby (sick and sneezing) and she tried to blame us for it, saying that we should have known that we couldn't get rooms at this price.... More

If you want to feel that you are in a real part of the country which you have gone to visit, this is wonderful: quiet (apart from noisy people if they come in late at night and don't trealise that sound bounces from the beautiful tiles: ethnic with beautiful plasterwork, carving, nooks to relax in, etc.. If you want a... More

Stayed here with my partner, and our first impression was wow. A beautiful old (c.12th century) building with lots of character and beautiful furniture. Elisa was a great hostess and made our stay very welcoming. I would be more than at ease travelling here by myself as there are always plain clothes police in the souks (something lone female travellers... More

Went to Morocco and stayed at the Riad Amssaffah because it was listed as a four star and generally had some really good reviews; how I wish I had taken more note of the not so good reviews... It may have been a four star back in the day but when we stayed the place was dirty and smelt (as... More
