If you stay in Marrakech, you should actually choose a riad. These are former private houses with a garden inside converted into a small hotel and of course everything in Moroccan style. There are many, but riad Les Oliviers has been one of the best for several years. The friendliness, service and hospitality are outstanding. Youssef arranges everything for his guests and of course also sells excursions. The advantage of this was that we had no costs for a last minute cancellation, while you have to pay the full price at an agency. Another big advantage is that this riad has a swimming pool on the roof, a great way to cool down after a day in or outside Marrakech. The only thing that was not up to standard was the kitchen. And strangely enough, it mainly concerned the local dishes. Maybe the chef should ask his mother for some tips on how to keep dishes fresh longer, even if you have to prepare them well in advance. In any case, he should stop sprinkling salt! My goodness, just looking at certain dishes raises your blood pressure by 10 points. Anyway, that won't be a problem for most people, because they go to a restaurant elsewhere. Due to illness, however, we were forced to eat in the riad a few times. Aka Martinus.

The staff worked very hard to meet all of the needs we had during our three-day stay here. We had three rooms for our family in this nicely appointed and well located Riad. The price/quality balance was just right - while the bathrooms could have been a bit more modern and the air circulation a bit better, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the Riad was filled with sitting areas and cozy nooks and crannies - all very nicely furnished. The spa experience was enjoyable and relaxing, and the spa area itself is very modern, clean and calming. Youssef and Abdou were very helpful in orienting us to both the hotel and the local area. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful space, with very comfortable seating and a tasty menu. Fouad in the restaurant is very service oriented and Mbaka at the front desk is friendly and helpful.

I would like to share my opinion with all of you regarding our beautiful time at Riad les Oliviers. The food was outstanding with a very reasonable prices, waiter service was on the high quality with a beautiful smile on their faces, even he was dealing with the 18 people group. Couscous Royale, big Tajin, Salads, desserts, chocilate pie, shisha was astonishing beautifully prepared and served to us. MINTH TEA was presented and pour in a traditional way. We couldn't take our eyes of Adnane as he tried to meet our needs. Hammam was offered and the prices and service was outstanding. I cant recomended this place high enough so just pop in there and check yourself.

This place is wonderful. From start to finish we were so well looked after, nothing was too much trouble. All staff are polite and friendly. The whole hotel is immaculate and clean. Our room was traditional but with all the essential mod cons including a powerful shower and air con/ heating, comfy bed and again cleaned well everyday. I cannot recommend this Riad enough it was a truly great experience!!!!! 10/10

We stayed 4 nights at Riad les Oliviers, very welcoming and available staff, very warm atmosphere, the Riad was very clean and ideally located (10 minutes walk from Place Jemaa El Fnaa). It is located in a rather quiet street and you have everything nearby.
The rooms were air conditioned. The breakfast was very generous and varied.
I 100% recommend this establishment

We booked a deluxe suite with 2 double bedrooms. What we got was an average double room( Rabat) with an attached tiny twin internal room. It was dark, stuffy and dingy. More hotel than Riad, and not to the same level as we have experienced in more traditional 8 room Riads. The rooftop breakfast was very basic. Placemats were dirty and worn and our table the first morning had bird poop on it. A table was reset without any wiping or shaking of crumbs and it was left to the birds to tidy it up! This was reflected throughout the hotel, with the room rugs also needing a good clean.
Bed linen was thin and ill fitting and the mattresses had no protectors. The cabinet in the tiny bathroom was loose and missing a handle. The hot water pressure was terrible(Tan Tan) and on full hot no pressure. Towels were thick and relatively new.
The worst feature is location…quite a walk from main square, a narrow gauntlet of revving motorbikes dangerous, noisy and full of fumes. We recommend taking a longer route via Bahia Palace, Jewish Quarter and down another nicer laneway to main square.
The guides recommended were great but were quoted in Euro, while invoice was in Dirham…loosing a few euro dollars and cents on the cross rates.
We did not mention our disappointment with our room, nor the issues we faced. We did raise an issue when we complained that our water bottles ( still with water) were removed during servicing and at first they wanted to charge us 20 MAD to replace…this caused a kerfuffle so we did not feel comfortable complaining. For example, coffee does not come first at breakfast, but it is my personal preference for coffee first. When I asked 3 times the first day for coffee I just got a look …so I just had to wait for them to do it the way they do it.
The cookies and tea on arrival were good, and the room snacks ( fruit and nuts) a nice touch.
Sadly though this Riad did not meet most of our expectations on location, cleanliness, comfort and sleep quality. It was not great. I would not choose to stay here again nor recommend.

We stayed 3 nights at the Riad in a triple room. The room clean and well-kept. It has a pool on the terrace, perfect for the heat of Marrakech, it is not very big but sufficient. The restaurant has typical food and also dishes such as pizza and hamburgers at an acceptable price. We do not recommend the Hamman. The service has been perfect, we took the transfer with them and it was a total success. The reception staff is always attentive and ready to help you with everything. 100% recommended.

A riad where you feel good. Already on arrival, they offered us a welcome mint tea before anything else, which is very kind and already gives us an impression of how it will be.
Our room was clean, spacious and the bathroom modern.
The staff was attentive to our needs, they organized tours with a guide, taxis, transfers to the airport, in short they were super efficient and helpful. A big plus for the roof to go well. The must, the swimming pool on the roof which allows us to cool off when the temperatures are very high.

The location is good. It is quiet at night. The room is very small. We are 3 small size people and it is hard for us to manuver inside the room without bumping to each other. Breakfast is excellent with good varieties . Wifi signal is very inside the room

Bonjour, Il est possible de réserver un transport directement par le raid. Nous avions le transfert inclus par notre agence de voyage. Petit conseil éviter les taxis, ils essaieront de vous arnaquer. Bonne soirée
