Friendly staff and owners. 15 minutes walk from Djemaa el Fna with a few sights in the way (such as the Saadian Tombs). Breakfast is very good, the rest of the meals are just ok. The rooms are clean, with enough space and nice bathrooms. The only problem we had was the air conditioning, the sound was just too high... More

Thank you for your review. In response to the comments regarding the air con unit noise , no one has ever mentioned this before and i think you maybe very light sleepers. All air con units in all Riads make some noise , it is not possible for them to function otherwise. However , we have had the units fixed... More

"This was a real treat! The bummer was that we only booked a couple of nights before moving on. Next time, we'll take a week. The location's right, and we could park our car outside on the street. Riad Jonan has style and comfort with the traditional trimmings. The staff were cool, nothing was too much. They always had a... More

Serendipity! Says it all. A very pleasant surprise. Very smart and comfortable bedrooms, Spacious open areas to lounge in, excellent friendly staff with good service. Unusually good breakfast, for Marrakech! Great Location. Enough said!. Oh yes, and such good value ! Why look elsewhere.?.

Compared to the riad we stayed at in Fez and for the price Riad Jonan was like a five star hotel. Great Location, the most friendly staff ever with excellent service. Definatley the best breakfasts !. Rooms were very comfortable with the essential air con for the summer and nice little touches in the room. The plunge pool was great... More

Returning to the subtle unmarked entrance, into the soothing quiet and peace of Martyn's comfortable and welcoming Riad, is a moment of bliss at the end of a hot happy hunting day in Marrakech. The staff are attentive, but not intrusive, and Martyn is a mine of information. Even the other guests are seemingly well chosen, in a friendly and... More

Spent 4 days with my husband in mad but enchanting Marrakesh. We stayed at the Riad Jonan after having read several reviews. We were not disappointed . From the moment we walked through the door we were taken care of by the Brish owners and their warm and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble , they gave us so... More

My partner and I stayed at Riad Jonan as the first stage of our driving holiday across the south of Marrakesh and wow...what a great start! Howard (& his delightful little dog Kiko) and his staff were welcoming, friendly and so knowledgeable with some excellent recommendations on places to visit, eat, car hire...you name it...nothing was too much trouble...(n.b Kiko... I have stayed at Riad jonan on 4 occasions, I found it whilst looking for a Riad that was worth the money and this one is it! The owners are very helpful and the staff are friendly too. Also has a beautiful decor. It has an excellent location away from the crowds of the North Medina but within easy walk... More

We were a party of 11 people celebrating my Dad's 70th Birthday and My Parents 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. On arrival at the airport we were met by Howard (owner)and 2 mini buses. I would definatley recommend you to book a transfer via the Riad. We all had a fantastic time at the Riad Jonan, the staff and the service... More

We were there for 2 nights, lovely place, friendly and helpfull staff, a really good breakfast. We really enjoyed it, just the surrandings are not so nice... too many people trying to skin you with services they do not really provide and that you don't need.
