We stayed two nights in this riad when we first arrived in Morocco. The room was long and narrow with uneven and crumbling floors and walls. Immediately outside our room (less than a metre, people were having their breakfast, smoking and talking). The common areas were tiny! The staff were okay, but it was not the start to our visit... If you are standing in the alley outside of this riad, you wouldn't expect it to be so beautiful on the inside. That's the case for every riad I guess. The proprietor of this fine establishment was very polite and tended to our every need. He gave us the tea welcoming and we sat in the lovely courtyard to enjoy... More

Very nice Riad at only 10 minute walk from the main square. The courtyard area is very attractive with a small pool. The Riad offers a nice roof terrace were to sun bed in complete privacy from the surrounding. The room I was staying (jasmine) was small but clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

What a fabulous wonderful stay. Nothing is to much trouble, the beds are comfy just inbetween firm and soft, two pillows each, one firm, one soft, air con works a treat, lots of towels and soaps etc, Beds made every day and change of towels etc and bathrooms cleaned. Shower is hot enough and has good pressure. Had two meals,... More

Would come here again tomorrow. Can't say a bad word about it. Absolutely beautiful. Friendly staff, more than happy to help. Photos don't do it justice. Need to see for yourself. Would recommend room Aladdin or kaltoum on the ground floor by the pool!

I was a with a friend just a couple of days ago in the riad Amira. We stayed for 4 days and i could not imagine a better place to stay. Martin, a really lovely french lady is the owner of the riad. She welcomed us with some maroccan backery and fresh mint tea. After filling out some papers, she... More

Marrakech is a beautiful city embedded with great history charm and real culture, my views d the riad do not depict the Marrakech as its definitely a must see place. On arrival we weren’t shown around the place, and were left to our own devices.. Even though I asked for a upgrade the raid was completely empty for four days... More

This was our first trip to Marrakesh and first time in a riad, although our friends had been once before. Reminiscent of Star Trek in so much that you walk through a hole in a wall and are immediately transferred into another world, one of calm and tranquillity. We were well received and shown to the central part of the... More

We stayed in Riad Amira back in February 2008, and really enjoyed our stay. It’s a great little riad set in the back streets of Marrakesh. With very friendly feel and quaint little rooms which give you a truly remarkable experience we were not disappointed by the stay. The owners and staff were very friendly and helped arrange for trips... More
