Stayed for a week from end of Nov to start of Dec and was not disappointed. My double room came with a safe inside where I stored my valuables. The staff are all very friendly, nice, and down to earth. Whilst they all speak French and Arabic mostly they can also speak enough English for a conversation too.
The housekeeping team clean the rooms regularly, provide breakfasts and any other meals that are paid for onsite, as well as being able to provide food and drink on request. Breakfasts and meals can vary day to day but usually breakfast consists of the following items:
Pastries
Bowl of fruit
Fresh orange juice (with pulp included)
Small jar of yogurt
A small tray with 3 types of jam/marmalade, with butter and cheese
A pancake/crepe
A hot drink (Tea, or Coffee, or Mint Tea)
You can also get some good advice from them for activities to do during the day or places to visit. They can arrange transport to/from the Riad depending on your requirements. One member of staff even helped me order food online and have it delivered to the Riad (similar to JustEat) on the first night while I was hungry but arrived too late for the last meal to be served.
This Riad is approx 30 mins walking distance from Jamaa El Fnaa - it is a good location just outside the hustle and bustle of all the markets/souks/locals, but not too far to walk or take a short taxi ride to your destination. It is also approx 30 mins taxi ride (100-150 Dirhams, approx 8.5km) distance from the airport.

Christine and all her staff was really impressive in terms of welcoming and making us feeling comfortable.
Since our arrival, we arrived very late, they organized despite the very late time, a very nice and taste dinner.
Room and breakfast great as well the terrace on top as well as the common area where you can relax siping a the.
A note just as feed back: better to clarify the conditions with Expedia otherwise it might cause unnecessary misunderstanding. We talked and solved but not having them since the first beginning would have preferable.

We stayed here for 5 nights in February, myself, my husband, two of my daughters and our 6 month old grandson. We had two rooms in different parts of the Riad, one overlooking the courtyard and one overlooking the road. The Riad is beautifully restored with all traditional features retained and has lovely antique furniture. Each room is unique. Ours had a big comfy wooden bed, and a black and white tiled bathroom, high ceiling, plenty of storage space. If you like old, traditional, historic buildings then this is the place for you. The hotel has a lovely small heated rooftop pool with sun loungers and tables for breakfast and lunch weather permitting. The hotel serves a delicious breakfast, different Moroccan specialties every day, fruit, yogurt cheese, meat etc. And the people working in the hotel are extra friendly and nice, the service is excellent. We ate our evening meal one night in the Riad and the food was very good. Before deciding whether or not this is the right place for you, there are a couple of things to bear in mind. Like all old buildings, there is no sound proofing, you can hear furniture being moved around on the roof and street noise was audible in our daughter’s room, you can hear people coming and going in the Riad etc. If you are very sensitive to noise you might be better off with a modern hotel in the new town. This Riad is at the northern tip of the Medina just inside the city wall by a car park, this has the advantage that it is easy to access road transportation. However, it is a 30 minute walk to the main square (more if you get lost, virtually certain even with Google maps!!) so you might want to use a taxi to get there, cost about £5. Walking in the Medina should be pleasant but isn’t because of all the motorbikes that come tearing round the corners. You can hire a guide but you will be directed to places where they will try to sell you stuff at high prices. There are not all that many places to eat close to the Riad, the nearest nice ones we found are 15 minutes or so walk away, I can recommend Limoni, but it does get busy. Notwithstanding the above, we had a lovely few days away, it was our grandsons first trip abroad and he loved splashing around in the pool, so overall recommend this hotel. Tip, bring insect repellent, the mosquitos were hungry!

We weren’t sure what to expect as it was a new experience for us to stay in a Riad.
As we entered the Riad through a little door in an alleyway, we were welcomed by Christine and her wonderful staff and immediately felt relaxed.
The courtyards with palm / olive / orange trees were beautiful and meals we had there were delicious.
The Riad has a very relaxed atmosphere and all the staff were some of the friendliest that we had ever come across on our holidays all over the world. The chef and the waiting staff were very courteous and helpful giving attention to detail.
The rooms were beautifully furnished to a high standard and I must say that I had the best nights sleep!
We were directed to friendly taxi driver Faical who really looked after us and we felt that he genuinely cared for our safety whilst we ventured into the Souks etc.
Above all, I have to give great credit to the owner Christine for the relaxed atmosphere she has created for her guests.
My advice to fellow tourists who have never stayed in a Riad is not to miss out on this wonderful experience.

This is an old world Riad steeped in Moroccan decor, extremely comfortable and good food all at a reasonable price. It is right in the center of Marrakesh. The Owner/Manager Christine goes out of her way to make guests feel at home as do all the staff. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and have everything you could want. And they will also collect you at the airport which saves looking for a taxi or the hotel. I highly recommend it.

My stay at the riad, as a solo traveller, was one of the best stays in Morocco.
Christine, the owner, and the rest of the staff were incredibly welcoming and paid attention to my every requests. Chirstine was always there and made it a point to personally meet all the guests to make sure that everything was to our expectations.
As I have high BP, they catered for my requests for salt free meals and made sure I lacked for nothing during me stay.
Riad Ayadina itself is beautiful place, tastefully decorated and confortable. Its location close to the gate 11 made it easy to access transportation outside the medina for excursions and other outings without having to go through the medina.
I will definetely recomment Riad Medina to my friends and family and stay there again, for its authenticity and the hospitality provided to visitors.

The reviews are all correct….the staff here are truly wonderful. Warm, friendly, funny, knowledgeable and happy to help me learn snippets of Arabic each day, that helped enormously with immersion into the day to day! They truly made the stay very memorable.
The Riad itself is very comfortable and clean with a relaxed and authentic feel. I stayed 8 nights with a friend I’d not seen for 3 years since Covid. So we spent a lot of time on the roof terrace under umbrellas, dipping in and out of the small but most welcome, icy cold water of the pool. Whilst also enjoying the Riads fabulous food (and Moroccan wine)!
The heat in August was quite oppressive and our venturings out into the Medina each day were short. Not an issue for us both as we’d visited Marrakech many times before. So sightseeing was not part of our agenda.
The Riad is north of the Medina. A good 20 minutes walk to the Souks. For us a great location, as it’s in a residential area so you get to experience the real Medina as you wander. It’s also adjacent to the Northern wall, the benefit being Taxis can easily drop you back from the square when you’re hot, sweaty and keen to be back in the cool oasis of the Riad.
If you’re looking for an authentic Riad with sensational staff, you won’t be disappointed

We had an amazing stay at the Riad Ayadina.
The room was spacious & beautifully decorated.
Breakfast was served on the beautiful rooftop terrace & dinner served in the pretty courtyard.
Our spa experience was so relaxing, I would recommend to all.

We would recommend organising taxis & trips through her.
Thank you to you all.
Hopefully we will return to Marrakesh soon.

Have stayed in Many riads over the years, this one is mid range in my opinion . We had a lovely warm welcome from Nedjet, very helpful and warm lady.
Had dinner first night which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our sleep however the first night was disturbed throughout. First by pots and pans banging and later on, loud shouting, banging of doors, people moving around noisily. The mattress is also very hard and pillows too high.
The breakfast was varied and interesting.
The massage I had was the best ever, the man was extremely professional and knowledgable.
We don’t normally stay at this end of the medina and it was good to discover another route with different restaurants and shops. In future though we will stay nearer the centre. Riad Ilayka is superb, the best riad so far we had stayed in.
We had a thoroughly good trip but on our last day, at breakfast, we were finishing up and the waiter came in the room, looked at us and sighed, then said something under his breath. This has unfortunately tarnished our stay. He obviously wanted us to leave the room but we were only finishing our coffee and chatting. Incidentally, I thought from the beginning of our stay he appeared a little passive aggressive.

We stayed at this beautiful Riad for four nights at the beginning of May. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. We’d missed breakfast but that wasn’t a problem, the staff arranged something for us. Christine then took time out to explain the local area to us and some key places to visit. Breakfast every morning on the roof terrace was delicious. Finding the Riad in the maze of the old town wasn’t to difficult as long as you could find the blue markers. On the last day we made use of the spa and experienced a hammam and massage which we would thoroughly recommend. Thanks to all of the staff who were so friendly and helpful and the cleanliness of the room was top class.

We did not change at the Riad. We used the ATM in the city, so I can not answer your question. However, in the riad I am sure they can advice you where it is best to change.
The Riads in general don't have elevators, this one neither! They are old buildings, some of them more then 100 years old, adjusted for tourism, but elevators do'nt seam to fit in.On the contrary, the steps are pretty steep especially to the rooftop! Best you inform yourself with the Riad before booking, or take a room on the ground floor, if hey have any, because mostly below you've got the reception, the patio and resturant and spa. Hope you find an appropriate accomodation!

Dear Sir Madam,
I want to confirm that you are in the Riad Ayadina, and there is no other Annex riad. People who have to witness booked on Booking and the period end of the year, can not afford to have the final minutes of cancellations, I had sent them three letters which they did not respond, so I considered that their reservations would not close because they could cancel a J-5.
We are a serious riad, and we do our best to satisfy our customers.
Pending to welcome you to the Riad Ayadina.
Best Regards
christine
