Two friends and myself stayed in Riad Zen on our first night in Morocco and Marrakech, and were very happy with our choice. On arrival tea was served (as you'll soon become accustomed to if you travel a little in Morocco) in one of the cushy downstairs nooks, before we were shown to our room. For a very reasonable price... More

We originally booked to stay at an associated riad (l'Orchidee) however we were not at all unhappy when they transferred us here (it was a few seconds walk away). The riad is clean, comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were given tea on arrival, they offered advice and maps for getting to grips with Marrakech and... More

We stayed in El Kenz in one week, and we enjoyed our it very much. The place is nice and quiet, and the people there are very friendly. It is located in the small streets, but only 2 min. walk til P-place Laarous, where you can take a Taxi (which is cheap) to anywhere. You should order a dinner at... More

We stayed here for a week, 3 persons to a room (extra bed for our son). The riad is excellent value, the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed, and the staff are extremely courteous and anxious to make your stay as worthwhile as possible. I seem to be parroting what other guests on this forum have said, but then again,... More

This was my third visit to Marrakech and by far the most relaxed I have been. We booked all the rooms as it was a group trip for a birthday celebration and the place felt very much like our home for a few days. It is hard to fault Riad El Kenz - a lovely little oasis in the middle... More

Although I had already used riad El Kenz in a private capacity (had been there a couple of times with friends and family), this last April stay was different as I used riad El Kenz for the first time in a professional capacity. A family run tour operator in Brussels, I had sold 4 six-day-stays of 10 people each and... More

I highly recommend this most wonderful guesthouse situated in the heart of Marrakech. A marvellous welcome was given to us by our friendly French hostess, “Dame Claude”. Each en-suite room is decorated in a specific style interpreted by its name. Our room was extremely clean and relaxing and the comfortable bed had crisp fresh linen. The bright coloured bath towels... More

I stayed for a couple of days at Riad El Kenz and I can resume it in one word: SUPER !!! Upon arrival at Marrakech airport the owner arranged a private transfer: i recommend this to everybody if you dont want to be harrassed by the local and unfriendly taxi-drivers. Dont forget that Riad El Kenz (which means "the Tresor"... More

The house is nicely renovated with a great sence of taste. The breakfast was great with fresh orange juice, fresh fruit. Had a good contact with the hosts who even arranged my transfer from airport.
