On October 5, 2021, I made a non-cancelled reservation for this proprierty. Unfortunatelly we were unable to find the hotel. We tried waze, Google maps, locals directions and couldn't find it. I had to cancel the reservation and asked for the charge to be refounded since de didn't arrive. I didin't get a return, the amount is still debited from kg credit card, wich leads me to believe that my order was not granted. In addition to the almost 32 euros I paid, I had to pau the Ibis rater. I'm sorry , but I don't rwcommend the hotel to foreigners who don't know Marrakesh well
We both very recommended kasbah le mirage hotel 🏩❤️very lovely staff and hotel beautifully designed. Breakfast excellent. Thank you so much the hard work all staff Kasbah le mirage hotel x🏩👏👍👌❤️Excellent and beautifull.
From reading the reviews before this we were a little apprehensive, but people need to understand this isn’t a typical all inclusive city hotel. It is a very natural, Moroccan Kasbah meaning an old city fortress! We stayed at the hotel kasbah le mirage for 5 nights and loved our stay. Very Welcoming & friendly staff. All very helpful and spoke reasonably good English. Nice location, good distance from the city & free shuttle twice a day. Also a taxi service easily booked by the hotel for whenever you need. Very authentic. Easily accessible through taxis. Delicious food from the restaurant for lunch & dinner Good value for money Very clean rooms & good services offered by the hotel. Only thing I would say is that travelling to the hotel at night was a little scary as it is in the middle of nowhere and dirt tracks are the way to it. Breakfast there wasn’t much choice, could include more of a variety, as there was a lot of bread. Would be nice to maybe see some fruit or options of hot food. Flies around the hotel could be monitored a little more but this didn’t effect us too much. Overall, we would definitely recommend our hotel & wish that people would be a little more open minded when visiting different countries and experiencing their culture. Thank you hotel kasbah le mirage :)…
We already knew the hotel was out of Marrakech we saw this when booking and we’d pre booked a taxi from the airport so this wasn’t an issue at all. And we could book on the free shuttle bus or arrange a set price taxi into the town centre at the hotel every day. Traditional style rooms were beautiful finishes with Moroccan decor. Hotel did need a little TLC but it didn’t affect our stay. Hotel staff were helpful and attentive (I wish we’d know more French) Please don’t forget this is a Muslim country and a full bar isn’t available but you can have wine. The views of the Atlas Mountains are fab on a clear day. (Get up for sunrise) Disappointing that some facilities on site weren’t available (pool bar, rooftop bar, rooftop jacuzzi and the pool was very cold) We enjoyed the set menu included in our room rate great to try food we wouldn’t normally have. If you don’t like cats, there is plenty hanging around so be warned. …
No idea why this is a 4 star hotel. Very run down, thought it had been built in the 70s, in fact only 15 years ago, in the middle of what looks like a building site, children begging outside and hanging around until late evening using the hotel's limited WiFi. Felt unweclcome, no beer in hotel only wine, wouldnt provide a bottle and only one small glass at a time (not chilled). Very remote, reliant on taxis/shuttle, very slow service, limited menu, 6 cats roaming around in restaurant looking to be fed, Bedroom best described as interesting. Bathroom falling apart, sheep and donkey housed in a pen under our window. Would love to be able to say was rustic but service, attitude and lack of facilities just left it shabby and uncared for. Research very carefully first.
