Riad Nora was built in the 19th Century as part of the Bahia Palace in Marrakech. At that time, this historical house was inhabited by a Moroccan chief magistrate. The guesthouse is now under Swiss management and impresses with its authentic character and welcoming charm. Riad Nora is in the center of the old town, just a few steps from the Souks and 7 minutes walk from the main square Djemaa el Fna. Some major attractions such as the Bahia Palace and the beautiful Saadian tombs are located very nearby. The leafy double terrace offers a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views of the Atlas mountains. The light-coloured courtyard provides a small pool for refreshing after a long day in the medina.

We spent five days in this riad and it's about 15 minute walk into the main square. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the transfer from the airport was flawless even though BA delayed us. The room was clean and the riad is lovely. You won't regret booking and if we return to Marrakech I would book again.

Visited for a short family trip with my parents. Offered a transfer from the airport at 15 Euro which was great - driver even waited although our flight was delayed. Aziz welcomed us and was lovely, telling us how to get around and the best places to visit around the area. Location is perfect - quiet street just a couple of minutes walk from the busyness of Marrakech. Nice small pool to dip your feet into after a day of walking around the souks, with nice terraces to relax during the day on the sun loungers. Lovely light breakfast in the morning, with option of having it on the terrace or outside your room. Rooms are a little dark during the night but opening the doors brings the light in. Aziz also even offered to print our boarding passes out for us as the airport doesn’t accept mobile versions - always friendly and happy to help! Overall a wonderful stay with friendly hosts and a nice little riad. Oh and a beautiful friendly house cat too!

Beautiful riad near the square. Pretty convenient location in terms of travelling since, not too far from the riad was this area where taxis could come. Our taxi didn’t drop us off there originally despite calling/speaking to the staff at the riad. I think the driver just wanted his flat rate and left us at the square but it was very convenient to catch a taxi back to the station. The staff at the riad were friendly and helpful! Great location to different shops! Comfortable and clean accommodations! Breakfast was tasty!

A quiet riad in a very good location with nice service. They offered us an airport pick up for 15 euros. The people are very friendly. The rooms are a little dark but nicely decorated. I would definitely go back there.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Riad Nora. It is extremely close to the main square (about 10 mins) and Souks (about a 2 min walk) so the hustle and bustle is there whenever you desire but inside the walls of the riad you’d think you were elsewhere because it is so quiet and peaceful. The staff at Riad Nora were exceptional, they went above and beyond. Upon entering the riad we were always greeted in a friendly manner and they were always happy to offer some well valued advice and information. Breakfast (which is delicious) was advertised as being from 8am to 10am but there were days where we had to be out of the riad by 8, this was not a problem as the staff were so accommodating and made our breakfast earlier just for us. On top of this, during our 5 day stay it was my birthday and the staff made the day feel so special; decorating my bed and breakfast table, providing me with a cake and a little gift. Only thing I would say is that the ‘pool’ is a little small, you couldn’t lounge around it (although the terrace is perfect for this) but it is needed for soaking your feet after a long day of walking through the busy city of Marrakesh. Would recommend this riad to anyone!
