We had a lovely stay in Tchaikana - we stayed in a few during our vacation in Marrakech and this was definitely our favourite! Everything was very clean and tastefully decorated. Our bed was super comfortable and we slept really well! The best things was definitely the rooftop - perfect for breakfast and evening drinks! A note on the breakfast - really delicious! A variety of breads and confitures, with yoghurt and fruit. My friend was gluten free and the staff were kind enough to make her omelettes which was highly appreciated! We also must acknowledge the kindness and hospitality of Khadijah the owner/manager. She made our stay super comfortable - she arranged our transfer from the airport to the riad, booked a table for us at a restaurant when we couldn't make international calls off Whatsapp and even walked us into the main square Jemmah El Fnah on our first morning to help orientate us. This was on top of all the tips she gave us for our visit in Marrakech. What a little jewel! From the moment I first made contact with Khadija back in February 2022, until the time we checked in, in September 2022, we had built up a lovely rapport. Nothing was too much! She and her lovely ladies - Bouchra, Jamila, Meriem and Nawel could not have been more helpful and courteous. The Riad itself is so beautiful and a haven of tranquility. Our room on the first floor overlooking the central courtyard was peaceful and spacious. The courtyard was filled with plants and tiny birds. Although we ate at several restaurants, we also had many meals in the Riad because our "Head Chef" was such an amazing cook. Khadija did something amazing upon our arrival - she walked us up to the main square through all the little back streets in the Souk, so we knew where we were and could get our bearings. That helped tremendously and we never got lost after the initial guided tour. We experienced many wonderful things including a visit to the Hamman and a tour of Jardin Majorelle (Yves St Laurent's garden). We felt like home, Khadija and Bouchra were very helpful and kind, they made sure we were comfortable and safe at all times. The food was amazing and the rooms very cozy and beautiful. A paradise in the Medina. We spent memorable days in Morocco and TCHAIKANA was definitely one of the highlights. We are already looking forward to comeback again. Thank you so much! ❤️

We stayed at Riad Tchaikana for several nights and found everything we needed - a stunning room and pleasant rooftop breakfasts, a friendly and efficient team available to handle all queries, including a last minute wheat intolerance issue. An amazingly quiet place considering its proximity to the souk and many other choice destinations, whether they be places to visit, eat or a selection of hammams.

I totally recommend this riad to anyone who is staying in marrakesh. We opted for the pick up service which they offer and I definitely recommend it to avoid any taxi scams. The driver who picked us up was very kind and was already waiting outside by the time we arrived. We were met by Khadija who was one of the owners, she was very warm and welcoming. She explained what places we can visit around the area and made sure sure we we're orientated around the area. Bouchra is also one of the owners, she was so kind and went the extra mile in ensuring our wishes/needs were met. She made sure that we we're safe and gave us plenty of advice. She went the extra mile by getting me and my friend the specialties of morocco as we did not have enough time to buy it due to our 3 day sahara desert tour, so she kindly got us what we wanted whilst we were away. The rooms were very clean and very nicely furnished. And the place overall was very beautiful, clean and well looked after. Bouchra met us on the edge of the Souq and took us to the parking garage near the property to secure our rental car. She helped us solve several pressing problems including finding the perfect souvenir of the trip, introduced us to the wonders of the Souq and beyond and sent us on our way after helping us make reservations for our next adventure. We had a very large bedroom complete with fireplace and an antique, carved African post bed. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious and catered to my picky dietary habits. To sum it all up this was the best hotel, best food and best hosts of a great two week Morocco trip. It's hard to say enough good things about about Bouchra and the riad. If we get to go back to Marrakech we would definitely stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at this Riad. It is absolutely beautiful, the meals were delicious but the real highlight was the super helpful staff. Bouchra and her capable team did everything they could to help us in our stay in Marrakech, including an introductory tour in the area and then tips and help with all of our needs.

Excellent hotel located at the center,of Marakech. Was extremely clean & comfortable stay during Covid 19 Days. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The temperature was around 12 degrees and the staff offer us the special Marrocian Tsai for welcome. Rooms extremely clean and beautiful decoration. I travel all around the world with my job but the small details makes our stay different. And I say that cause when I enter my room the fire place in the room was already on fire. So cozy and warm place!!!!! The staff makes our trip more interesting with their advices & tips about the city,shops. I highly recommend the restaurant within of Tchaikana extremely taste and good food and breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to feel something really different. We booked this for April 2020. Through no fault of our own, it had to be cancelled as our flight did not proceed. We really struggled to obtain a refund and when it arrived it was 20% 'light'. No mention of this was made when we paid the deposit or when we asked to cancel, it has just been taken without our knowledge or consent. Not only that but they stated they normally take 30 PERCENT of the cost of the whole booking despite not making any mention of this on booking so proceed with extreme caution here unless you are absolutely certain you are going to be able to go. I feel very let down and financially taken advantage of. Furthermore, we had to pay the deposit in euros but were refunded in dirhams, which are costly to convert. It has all been made as difficult and costly to us as possible. However, they have offered a 'discount' on rebooking!!…

We had believed the 80 percent refund and 20 penalty ( discounted from 30) was acceptable to you as it is industry standard. And we promised to refund the 20 percent on your next booking trip.
