Perfect place to stay in mad Marrakech. You do have to pay guides to carry your luggage and get you there, but that is just one of the different ways of this amazing city! In the middle of a maze of streets, behind a wooden door. We always felt perfectly safe in the area. Fountains, tiles, trees, plants, birds, nooks... More

Riad Dar Moussaine. Difficult to find down a seemingly dark and empty side alley where, finally, you're confronted by a beautiful and inviting wooden door (there are beautiful doors everywhere in Marrakech!). You ring the bell and are introduced in to a short corridor, beautifully decorated in mosaic tiles and trinkets. Then, despite the pictures, you step in to a... More

In short: PROS: beautiful Riad, beautiful architecture and decor and atmosphere. friendly and helpful local staff. CONS: - The manager is a c**t. - You may have to share your room with uninvited crawling "guests"...but, as the manager puts it: "Hey! It's just nature!" Read more about our adventure below: We had the suite Badiane on the ground floor booked... More

My boyfriend and I visited earlier this month, and stayed for 7 nights. Upon the first night of arriving it is safe to say we were terrified. We arrived late at night and had already been scammed by two tour guided (so avoid those if you can). You have to travel through several alley ways to get to the riad... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in March, very nice place (although difficult to find!), we had to ask a local who then demanded 200 dirham which we refused to pay as it only round 1 corner. The staff are friendly and the food is very tasty. Breakfast on the rooftop in the sunshine is amazing and... More

Lovely raid, with hundreds to chose from it can be a headache. But the staff were lovely, welcoming and were there whenever we needed them throughout our stay. Highly recommend. Little sun bathing on the roof top and little pool at the rear, couldn't ask for much more. Price was just slightly more expensive then I would od liked to... More

I booked this Riad based on other reviews. Very sadly I was a little disappointed. Yes this was an authentic Moroccan riad and I was not expecting 5 star luxury but there were a few things that could have been better. Firstly there was no pool or plunge pool as advertised on booking.com. The room was more or less in... More

Fantastic oasis in the middle of the Medina. The rooms are all lovely and super clean with beautiful Moroccan / French decoration. The staff and hosts very friendly. I highly recommend it. Thank you very much.

A wonderful Riad, better than I could have imagined by far. The people who work at this hotel are smiling, helpful, kind - They really couldnt do enough. I am so disappointed I forgot their names, as they really do deserve a mention. The only lock I could see in this hotel is the one on the main door -... More

Dar Mouassine is a Riad in the old Medina in which we stayed for 3 nights. Positives: * generally excellent standards * friendly staff, with good knowledge what things really cost ! (taxi etc) * good location in the old Medina * high quality portioned breakfast (not a buffet) Negatives: It is difficult to find faults as it is an... More
