Raid Star is close to the heart of the Medina in Marrakech. It is tucked away in the atmospheric and delightful streets of this old part of the city. We were met at the airport and taken into the Medina, then taken on a short walk through the fascinating streets to the Riad. Once inside, the Riad is full of...

So close to the souks, and yet, completely peaceful inside. We stayed in the Ivory room, which was stunning. The staff was fantastic. The rooftop area was wonderful. The wifi worked in the rooms, not in just the main areas. (Every other place we stayed in Morocco had wifi limited to the common areas.) The only complaint is that on...

We really loved our stay here. It's just so pretty and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything is covered, great wifi, stunning rooms and view from the roof. Marrakech is a vibrant city and this is the perfect place to stay there.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, speaks good english as well. The roof top is absolutely amazing, you are a few meters higher than most other buildings around you, so you have a fantastic view and they have lot's of chairs, tables, deckchairs up there. They also have a fantastic app so you can find the riad again (like...

Everything was great and worked smoothly: gorgeous rooms (with decent wifi and several electric and USB sockets etc.), superb staff, amazing rooftop terrace with views over the Atlas mountains. Authentic location which is still relatively easy to find through the lively Souks and spice market (and they have an app that works offline in case you get lost), near some...

The rooms, and the building are delightful; cool, in the heat, with a multi-level roof terrace, and a plunge pool if you really need to cool off. But the real experience was the patience, sympathy and helpfulness of the staff - nothing was too much trouble, and everything could be fixed. This kindness way beyond the call of duty was...

We stayed at Riad star and really enjoyed our experience for the second time. The building has the most beautiful architecture and attention to detail in the interior design. The staff are amazing-going way above the call of duty. We really enjoyed the generous breakfast with lovely honey cakes and fruit salad with an omelet. We found it lasted us...

My wife and I only had four days to spare and although I had been to Marrakech before, we this time booked to stay in a riad, a small original Arab house turned into a fabulous boutique style small hotel. Extremely well appointed in every way we stayed in the Chiquita room one of only thirteen rooms, which opens out...

Dear Helishot, Thank you so very much for your lovely trip advisor review-it was very thoughtful of you to go to the effort of posting it. I personally love the Chiquita room as it offers so much privacy and you almost feel that you alone have access to the roof top as it is often completely empty of people especially...

After reading many positive reviews Riad Star seemed perfect. Undoubtedly it's a beautiful building, conveniently positioned for the Medina and has a lovely rooftop area however there are some negatives. The noise levels are particularly awful, you can hear every conversation day & night. If you want a good nights sleep take ear plugs! Cleanliness, this may be subjective but...

Dear Fieldings, Thank you for taking the time to write a trip advisor review. I am so sorry to read in your review that you found that you were disturbed by other's conversations. I wish that you had told us about this and we could have investigated it at the time and ensured that you were not disturbed. Unfortunately there...

Riad Star is a lovely property set just outside the main souks streets and about 8-10mins from the main Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The staff are attentive and helpful but I just felt that a little something was missing, you needed to find them to ask for things and then wait until it arrived. When getting coffee etc that is all...
