We have just returned from a short stay at the Diwane. The traditional Moroccan decor in the hotel was lovely and everywhere was very clean. The pool was fine and there were always enough sun beds. The hotel location is good -just off one of the main shopping streets ,and a 10 minute walk from Majorelle gardens. The No.1 bus near the hotel...

Standard clean hotel with non-spacious rooms. Rooms not particularly quiet. Swimming pool side is quite to have a drink, isolated from the noise of the street. It is a little far from the Medina, taxi costs 30 dirham to go there.

I think the saying applies that when someone experiences something negative they are much more likely to let everyone know than when it is positive - hence my rather tardy review! I travelled to Marrakech for a week in December. As a single woman I have travelled a lot on my own but was more apprehensive going to Marrakech because...

This was my second trip to Marakech, so instead of opting for staying in a traditional riad in the crazy medinas like last time, we decided to stay somewhere with a bit more luxury and that offered some relaxation, which was just what we were after! Was very happy with this hotel, the staff and service were great, our room...

Being a frequent visitor to Marrakesh I have now stayed in many of the hotels there. By far in terms of value for money the Diwane stands head and shoulders above them all. The front desk staff are as friendly and helpful as any I have encountered anywhere I have traveled in the world. Nothing is a problem for them....

Room had a balcony overlooking pool, which was nice and quite. The decor was abit outdated but otherwise fine inc Hairdryer...

I looked on trip advisor to check out this hotel, I found it very helpful. I would like to add that the hotel is brilliant. The staff were lovely and on our last night our waiter decorated our table with rose petals and had our drinks ready in an ice bucket, nothing was too much trouble for the restaurant staff....

I've just returned from a Groupn Deal (by KPX Travel - yes, I know!), which was, surprisingly good right from the beginning! The Hotel Diwane is clean, pretty and traditional with lovely service and wonderful facilities. My only criticism would be that as the hotel is so wonderfully decorated in mosaics and tiled floors, it can be echo-y and therefore...

We too went on a Groupon offer. Hotel rather tired but clean, helpful and friendly staff. Good location close to the start of the tourist bus routes which were well worth doing. Meals perfectly adequate but not memorable. Huge bed! A good choice for a cheap and cheerful few days to explore Marrakech.
