We spent 3 wonderful days in Marrakech, in October, for our 20th wedding anniversary. Riad Kniza is stunning - a real gem in the hubbub of the old town. Staff were attentive and helpful, the suite was palatial and the room terrace offered the perfect spot for breakfast or romantic dinner. The only thing we couldn't get to grips with... More

Last summer, we spent a week at the Riad Kniza, after deciding we needed a short break from our foster caring responsibilities and also due to the fact my wife and I still hadn't had a proper honeymoon 9 years after getting married. We found the Riad Kniza through recommendations on Trip Advisor and booked straight away. We tried to... More

Riad Kniza was simply wonderful. My husband had booked it for 3 nights during our honeymoon in Marrakech. We were made to feel very special and the level of service was extremely high. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Breakfast on the roof terrace is definitely a highlight. We would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience a... More

My husband John and I visited Riad Kniza, Derb l”Hotel in late Novermber 2010. We were both skeptical about the hotel when we had to walk through the beginning of the suke and thendown a narrow alley with high walls and just a couple doors. Our guide knocked on a large wooden door and low and behold we entered “the... More

My wife and I had chosen the riad kniza for our vacation at Marrakech almost 5 months in advance based on feedback from websites etc..AND we were nt one bit disappointed. The rooms, the lounges around the courtyard, the service provided by all the staff, the overall feel and ambience made us feel at home whilst on a holiday..probably this... More

I am sitting in the departures lounge at the Marrakech airport. I was just escorted by the head of airport security outside of the secure area because Smira, the kind manager at the Riad Kniza, sent one of her staff to the airport with my iPad. I left the iPad in the room charging prior to our departure. This is... More

We had originally scheduled a dinner (included in their package price) at the riad the night of our arrival, expecting to get to the hotel by around 7:30 or 8p. Our flight (EasyJet) was delayed out of Paris two hours because of heavy snow, so we weren't expecting to be served much arriving at almost 10p. They had our flight... More

Booked on the strength of Trip Advisor reviews (as most of my trips seem to be!) I'm pleased to say it was as good as we were hoping for. Run by extremely friendly and welcoming people, it showcases some of the best in Moroccan hospitality. The room/suites we stayed in (Samar for our friends and Kenza for us) were precisely... More

I loved this place. I have stayed at many five star hotels in different locations all over the world, but this place is completely different. If you are looking for somewhere where you can relax and not bother about stuffy formalities but at the same time be assured that the standards of your accommodation and service are of a very... This peaceful, upscale haven is nestled in an exotic (to us) neighborhood that you would miss if you stayed any closer to the Jemma el Fna. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10-15 minute walk to shopping every morning, including following the progress of a friendly local artisan who was intricately carving a beautiful wooden door. In our one week stay, we... More
