Stayed 1 night with friend. Very hospitable, exceptionally well maintained and clean, very comfortable. Small and cost. Food and spa very nice. They aim to please. Felt very safe. Overall great stay. Will definitely recommend this riad.
Riad Kniza is a marvelous, family owned establishment conveniently located at the edge of the medina where it's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. The location makes it easy to locate for guests while being a short walk to all the major sites in the medina and outside. Did I say how beautiful this riad is? It's gorgeous and excellently maintained and run. The owner is a wonderful gentleman and has recruited an amazing staff (led by Salma when we were there). We loved the owner taking time to speak with us when we ran into him outside. He took time to show us the art museum and restaurant just across the riad. The restaurant, Les Terrasses des Arts has some of the best food we had and a great rooftop (highest in the medina) which you must check out.
From the moment we walked through the huge wooded door, just off the hustle and bustle of the crowds in the Medina, we were in a sanctuary. Beautiful service, delicious traditional food and stunning rooms made for a very special start to our holiday. Be sure to have the set menu (it’s a feast both for the eyes and the stomach) and also ask to see the owner’s private art collection in the museum that was created during covid. Very special and learned so much about Berber culture. The little pool is delightful and refreshing, the hammam an experience worth booking and breakfast or dinner on the terrace an absolute must! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Marrakech which is central and yet far from the madding crowd.
This is a beautiful place. The staff are attentive and all speak English. Food is authentic and very good. (There’s also a restaurant next door which has a more modern menu - wonderful views from the terrace) Perfectly situated within walking distance of all the must-see places in the Medina. The owner is full of knowledge about places to visit and has a small but lovely museum full of fascinating antiquities. I would love to go back…
From booking, Riad Kniza was already proactive to ask us about our preferences and offer of assistance in getting there and on activities. Absolutely everyone was very very helpful, pleasant and a professional at what the do. We felt so much like home that we mostly stayed in and enjoyed all of the facilities, services and amenities that they offer. We even canceled stay at another place and went back to Riad Kniza :). Meeting Mr. Bouskri and all his staff was an absolute pleasure for us. He is so knowledgeable and wonderful to talk to. Simo, thank you for you hospitality and help for everything as well. Really really appreciate it. Though I can't name each and every staff, I would like to express my gratitude to each and every one of you. I don't think my review here does justice in describing and praising this Riad, but if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Riad Kniza. Very highly recommended.…
Absolutely stunning Riad ! We will for sure come back. The rooms were beautiful and well furnished, the staff was very nice and the Riad itself was very well taken care of with high attention to detail :) thank you very much for having us as guests.
Great location and pure Moroccan experience, really first class. Friendly staff and pool both highlights. Right in the Medina and amidst the locals. Not much variety with breakfast each day but good enough nonetheless. Not sure why I have to write 200 characters.
Riad Kniza was an epic chapter of our trip to Morocco. The riad is both spacious and intimate. Beautiful architecture everywhere you look. The pool, rooftop sunbathing, hammam treatment, morning breakfasts and amazing suite really set the tone for our Moroccan journey. Perhaps the only element that exceeds all others is the welcoming and gracious staff. Every person that helped us during our stay was the gold standard in service and care. The owner, Mohamed, showed us his new museum of Moroccan culture, and an amazing 360 rooftop view of Marrakech, just a stones throw away from the Riad. We felt like extended family. The peace and relaxation my wife and I felt was exactly what we needed. A gem within the hustle and bustle of the city. Absolutely recommend. And absolutely will be back.…
We chose this Riad Kniza in the middle of the medina for our entry into Marrakech. And I'm so glad we did. Mohamed Bouskri, the owner of the hotel also has a private museum right across that is well worth seeing as it is a testament to his passion for the arts and crafts of Morocco. The rooms were comfortable and cozy filled with antique pieces from his collection. Breakfast and dinner can be served either in the courtyard or up on the rooftop. The indoor pool is a plus especially after a day in the souk. The staff were so accommodating even having our clothes pressed on short notice. Every morning there is a team of people cleaning and changing the rose petals in the courtyard fountain. It's these attention to detail that I appreciate in a family run property.
OMG!! This Riad is soo stunning I can not say enough about how amazing our stay at the Riad Kniza was. The service was amazing everyone was so accommodating and the owner is sooo nice and kept making sure we were okay, I would recommend this place for anyone staying in Marrakech
