A party of 7 girls stayed in this riad for 4 night during March. As it was our first time in marrakech we wanted to stay in an authentic Riad and this is definitely exceeded our expectations. The family suite and double rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had arranged transfers with the hotel from the airport as well as our first meal on arrival and everything was delicious including the complimentary breakfast we received each morning. The staff were some of the best I have come across when staying abroad and no request was ever too much they had arranged the transport throughout the trip, helped with queries and made the stay relaxing and enjoyable. If you get the chance to use the spa while staying in this riad take it we had arranged hammam and massaged and the girls working there were fantastic. Over all our experience was fantastic each tiny detail was attended too and I would definitely stay again! Thank you for such a wonderful holiday!

We stayed here for half term, 6 days. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to the point we were dropped off, it was a hassle free and excellent experience staying at this riad. It cost 25 euro for 4 of us to book airport transfer. The car can come right up to the riad door, which is rare in Marrakech. We walked to the square in about 15mins with our 2 young teenagers, nobody ever felt tired from the walk, even when it was 11pm after dinner. There area is very safe, it's very easy to be out and about once you get use to the hustle bustle of the medina and motorbikes everywhere. Now the riad is 3 buildings in one, so quite spacious. All 3 courtyards and our rooms were beautiful, lots of nice places to sit and take pictures of. We stayed in the interconnecting room, which is actually connected by a corridor/balcony. Again, the riad was very safe, a home away from home. You can trust the staff and leave anything in your room or the safe. Everyone was friendly, professional and always helpful. A special mention to Omar, Mostafa, muhammad and Unis. Even for my birthday they helped my daughter arrange a sweet surprise cake on the terrace. That felt very special! I had a Hamam and message, book early as the slots get taken up. It's perfect after a long days of excursions or sightseeing. I've had many massage treatments in the UK over the years, but I have to say none compare to how excellent the whole experience was at the riad. Both ladies were highly experienced and professional. Everyone really needs to try it! I love it when the rooms look the same as the website pictures. Riad le Perroquet Bleu did not disappoint. I should mention out of our 2 rooms, Faiha and Diya, the shower pressure and hot water was better in room Diya. Room Fariha is a bigger room as it can fit 3 people. Bottled water was free in the rooms. I wish the pool had been heated. Surprisingly, the pool size is good enough to actually have a little swim in, which isn't the case with most riads in the old part of the city. Breakfast was substantial, I loved the pancakes, yogurt with fruit and cake slices best. I guess some people would prefer some hot items like eggs etc, however, as I do not eat too much early in the morning, it was fine for me. We had dinner at the riad on the first night, which we booked by email and gave our order before arriving. Good food, my tangine with kefta was delicious. We really enjoyed the Briouates, which are like samosas. The couscous chicken was a huge portion enough for 2 people to share if needed. Mohammed's tip to always change our money at Hotel Ali near the koutoubia was excellent. We looked around and it did have the best rates. Overall, a superb first holiday to Marrakech! My family and I would recommend this riad. It's nice to be in a peaceful area walking distance to the organised mayhem of the square.

I brought a group of 17 artists to Marrakech January 25-February 2 having never been there before. First time as as a tour operator to have a group on the African continent. I did an enormous amount of research in the many months leading up to the trip and selected Riad le Perroquet Bleu based in large part of the reviews read here. Of course you never really know how it's going to be until you experience it yourself. I can say we were all so pleased with so much about it: first of all the scores of emails between Béatrice and myself helped to set the stage. But to me the absolute highlights were: the great and dedicated team at the Riad. I'm talking about Omar, Moustafa and Mohamed. We all became friends and always felt they were taking such good care of us. Even the night guy was responsive and always available. The women who take care and maintain the cleanliness of the Riad seemed like they were constantly working. I feel there's so much more I can say, so I will! There are so many places to hang out and unwind with a glass of wine or cup of tea. The rooftop seating areas, the many interior courtyard places to hang out. Loved the tajines prepared by the kitchen. I would say my group on average at 3-4 times at the RIad and other times went out into town. I ate there every night with just one exception and tried the chicken and beef or vegeterian tajines, the beef and chicken skewers and the pastias (not sure about that spelling nor exactly sure what it was!). Breakfasts were good with fresh orange juice and eggs on demand. WiFi access was good but they were in the middle of some router upgrades so there were times it went out. But never for long. I was able to get work done in my room on the computer with a decent enough connection, but in some areas the connection was outstanding. As others mentioned the Riad is actually composed of three Riads. The newest one being the Blue. I stayed in the older one and was happy there. I felt the older ones had more character - and less light, but I loved mine. Feel free to ask any questions and if I know the answer I will respond.

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful 10 night stay here during the Christmas holidays. The Perroquet riad is stunning, with its terraces commanding dramatic views of the Medina. The staff - Omar, Mustafa and Mohammed - were very welcoming and accommodating, with our every need catered to. We dined there most nights as the food was delicious and the atmosphere a welcome retreat from the more frenetic pace of the Medina. We were thrilled to discover that we could enjoy wine with our meal having mistakenly assumed this to be a dry riad. The breakfast was a veritable feast, with pastries, fresh orange juice, fruit salads, and eggs served every morning. We enjoyed a glorious couple's hammam and massage in the spa. We recommend you book the suite with a private solarium & sauna if you can although our boys' junior suite was lovely too and quieter, as it overlooked a courtyard. My only issue with our room was that it was a little chilly, although we were provided with a Dimplex heater. Lovely touches on New Year's Day with the gift of a scented candle, fresh flowers and treats were greatly appreciated. The staff organised an amazing and unforgettable day trip to two kasbahs with their excellent driver Mohammed Saleem. We would highly recommend this riad to anyone who wishes to experience authentic Marrakesh in the comfort and luxury.
