Great hosts and location for first time in Marrakesh. Lovely clean Riad and great food nothing was too much trouble booking taxis, trip to Souk, camal experience etc. would recommend Garden Room overlooking courtyard. Rooftop was great for relaxing.
We have stayed here for 3 nights as a family in a family suite. 2 rooms connected by a balcony. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The only thing that I would improve was the water pressure in the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I was impressed. I liked that we could get to the riad by car and park there. The location is great too as it is not central to the Medina but everything is within a walking distance. We will definitely come back!
Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Beautiful architecture hidden behind a discreet entrance door. Impeccably clean. Large comfortable room for three persons, good beds and linen. Beautiful, relaxing rooftop terraces across the whole building. Safe location about a quarter of an hour's walk from the main square. We came for two nights at the start of our trip and returned for the last night, it was such a nice place.
I would have given a 5 out of 5 review because in all honesty the stay was cozy, Oman is a brilliant host, the environment clean, the Internet top notch and fast.. hmmm so why 4? The hot water... kept being an issue, so this feedback will mean the hotel will really look in and fix that issue. Aside from this, if I come back to Marrakech I will stay here, if I have to refer anyone to Marrakech I will encourage them to stay here. The staff is great Oman, Mohammed and Co...... they are just good, oh and the spa...Nice too!!! You should visit
I came with a group of friends, the rooms where lovely, ancient and modern depending on your taste. The manager (omah) and staff ( Mohammed, Rabi) where courteous and went above and beyond. To even helping us to order meals from outside when we came in late. The breakfast was well laid and very filling. They also showed us things to do around. The last thing I will try before taking off today is the Hamman. Neat well laid out rooms I intend to come back not sure when.
Omar and his amazingly friendly and helpful team are fantastic.. (see photo) Those genuine smiles greet you every day and any requests are dealt with promptly and with kindness. The riad is gorgeous. Our room was big enough for our group of 4 (yasmin).. The breakfasts were perfect.. Coffee juice.. Freshly made cakes.. Mint tea pancakes... Eggs as you like.. Taxi's ordered when required. Would not hesitate to recommend... The riad is a series of interconnecting buildings and each of them beautifully decorated, charming, authentic morrocan detaiks and very clean. The staff work so hard to ensure the guests are comfortable and have a great experience.
I was welcomed with Moroccan tea and biscuits the day I arrived, and was given a choice of two rooms in which to spend my three nights. I opted for the first floor junior suite. It was gorgeously decorated and had one of the largest four poster beds I had ever seen. Muhammad went out of his way to look after me, as did Mustafa at breakfast time. There was no buffet, but the breakfast was more than ample and featured an omelette, Moroccan flat breads, jams, fresh crusty rolls, orange juice, coffee and mint tea.Tranquil chill out songs were gently playing in the background daily. The riad is exceptionally clean and the pool is a welcoming feature in the dry Marrakech heat. I would definitely recommend the riad to anyone, as they really look after you. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is due to location. It's not as close to the main square as I would have liked, but I guess it wouldn't have been so tranquil if it was.…
A party of 7 girls stayed in this riad for 4 night during March. As it was our first time in marrakech we wanted to stay in an authentic Riad and this is definitely exceeded our expectations. The family suite and double rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had arranged transfers with the hotel from the airport as well as our first meal on arrival and everything was delicious including the complimentary breakfast we received each morning. The staff were some of the best I have come across when staying abroad and no request was ever too much they had arranged the transport throughout the trip, helped with queries and made the stay relaxing and enjoyable. If you get the chance to use the spa while staying in this riad take it we had arranged hammam and massaged and the girls working there were fantastic. Over all our experience was fantastic each tiny detail was attended too and I would definitely stay again! Thank you for such a wonderful holiday! …
Very nice place with detailed architectural spaces inside and comfortable room. Beautiful colors and kind personnel. Room with bath tub, chimney and very cozy bed. Small swimming pool in the courtyard. Perfect
We stayed here for half term, 6 days. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to the point we were dropped off, it was a hassle free and excellent experience staying at this riad. It cost 25 euro for 4 of us to book airport transfer. The car can come right up to the riad door, which is rare in Marrakech. We walked to the square in about 15mins with our 2 young teenagers, nobody ever felt tired from the walk, even when it was 11pm after dinner. There area is very safe, it's very easy to be out and about once you get use to the hustle bustle of the medina and motorbikes everywhere. Now the riad is 3 buildings in one, so quite spacious. All 3 courtyards and our rooms were beautiful, lots of nice places to sit and take pictures of. We stayed in the interconnecting room, which is actually connected by a corridor/balcony. Again, the riad was very safe, a home away from home. You can trust the staff and leave anything in your room or the safe. Everyone was friendly, professional and always helpful. A special mention to Omar, Mostafa, muhammad and Unis. Even for my birthday they helped my daughter arrange a sweet surprise cake on the terrace. That felt very special! I had a Hamam and message, book early as the slots get taken up. It's perfect after a long days of excursions or sightseeing. I've had many massage treatments in the UK over the years, but I have to say none compare to how excellent the whole experience was at the riad. Both ladies were highly experienced and professional. Everyone really needs to try it! I love it when the rooms look the same as the website pictures. Riad le Perroquet Bleu did not disappoint. I should mention out of our 2 rooms, Faiha and Diya, the shower pressure and hot water was better in room Diya. Room Fariha is a bigger room as it can fit 3 people. Bottled water was free in the rooms. I wish the pool had been heated. Surprisingly, the pool size is good enough to actually have a little swim in, which isn't the case with most riads in the old part of the city. Breakfast was substantial, I loved the pancakes, yogurt with fruit and cake slices best. I guess some people would prefer some hot items like eggs etc, however, as I do not eat too much early in the morning, it was fine for me. We had dinner at the riad on the first night, which we booked by email and gave our order before arriving. Good food, my tangine with kefta was delicious. We really enjoyed the Briouates, which are like samosas. The couscous chicken was a huge portion enough for 2 people to share if needed. Mohammed's tip to always change our money at Hotel Ali near the koutoubia was excellent. We looked around and it did have the best rates. Overall, a superb first holiday to Marrakech! My family and I would recommend this riad. It's nice to be in a peaceful area walking distance to the organised mayhem of the square.…
