Riad Alena is a very small family run house with perfect location- close to a main road (if you have big suitcases you do not have to walk through the small streets of the Medina where taxis cannot enter), but still close to the main shopping area and the centre square. At first we had some difficulties finding the hotel...

Stayed only one night. The hosts are very friendly and most helpful. And it shows from the moment we arrived at the front door after a long trip out to the Sahara. Greeted with refreshments and spent time chatting with the hosts. We were automatically upgraded with no extra charge to a bigger room. The room was beautiful and cozy....

We had the most amazing 7-day holiday thanks to the wonderfull hosts Claudie and Franc. From the start (they arranged an airport transfer in a luxury van) they made us feel right at home and eliminate a lot of potential stress of arriving in a city like Marrakech. They helped us areange excursions (at half the price for what you...

Claudie and Franck are the nicest hosts I've ever met. They know Marrakech inside out and will give you the best advice about the city, where to go and what to do. The Riad is perfect, close to the airport (Claudie and Franck will arrange pickup.), 5 mins walk to the mad main Square and great aircon!!!

My wife and I, along with three friends visited Marrakech for my wife's 30th in March 2015. We hired the entire Riad for three nights and had the most incredible experience. Riad Alena is an oasis in the middle of Marrakech. It's a perfect mix of traditional design and modern comforts, perfectly located within walking distance of the souk and...

Riad Alena is charming, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located. The typical Maroccan architecture and tasteful furnishings make this B&B lovely and comfortable. The temperatures mid February (winter!) were cool, and the heating in the rooms was fabulous, making night time very cosy. Plenty of very hot water, comfortable beds, and a good hair dryer was a real bonus. The delightful...

My friend and I visited Marrakesh for a few days and stayed two nights at Riad Alena. You enter through an unassuming wooden door down a small back lane but inside is astonishingly beautiful with a central courtyard / eating area and very roomy accommodation, decked out in a very traditional style. The owners, Franke and Claudie are absolutely wonderful...

I'm not sure I have the words to describe what a wonderful experience I had staying at Riad Alena. Claudie and Frank are the most wonderful hosts. They made themselves available to help, answer questions and put themselves out to ensure we had the best experience possible in Marrakech, even giving up their own time to suggest, show and take...

I just really enjoyed my two nights at Riad Alena. Ask in a local shop by the Bab Laksour if you have trouble locating. Hosts were amazing, riad is exactly what I hoped for, breakfast was huge, and location very close to all the action. After the craziness of the square at night it was the perfect base. Walking distance...
