I attended a yoga retreat here and it was a very good venue for this. The interior design is beautiful, the service very caring and the food good. I particularly enjoyed the brunches, I still think of them many months later (unfortunately, I don't think they offer brunch to regular guests, the one night I spent there on my own,... More

Riad Magellan was incredible! We loved everything about our stay. The property is gorgeous with a charming courtyard and several other nice common areas, including a rooftop. Our room was great - spacious, clean and quiet. The staff were always available, extremely helpful and very kind. The location was also great. Though it took us a little while to get... More

Ferdinand Magellan, the Portuguese explorer was a skilled navigator. Take my advise - when you book the Riad Magellan, ask for a map. Study it and bring it with you to Marrakech. You will need it to navigate through the labyrinth of alleyways in the medina. For me the Riad Magellan was an oasis in the middle of a tourist... More

The riad is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest entry point in the medina. A porter takes your luggage to the road through a maze of alleys twisting and turning, a tip is required of about 10 Dhms per suitcase. The riad is quite small with just six rooms, quite dark and the only light in the room... More

Magellan was a great choice when picking a place to stay in Marrakesh. Perfect location, close to one of the exits of the Medina with a lot of taxis to go around the city but at the same time keeping the Medina feel intact. The Riad is very beautiful and sunny with a little jacuzzi like pool in the center... More

We spent a week in Riad Magellan having booked it due to the good reviews on TripAdvisor. We were glad we took Phillippe's advice and let hi arrange our taxi from the airport. Many places inside the Old Town are inaccessible by car. Our taxi was met at the city walls by a porter who led us through the labyrinth... More

My son, my nephew and I arrived at Riad Magellan at the last minute through our local agent recommendation. We had booked Riad Neela (beware!) through booking.com and they didnt honour our booking! We were left stranded at midnight in Marrakech! Luckily Riad Magellan received us with delicious Mint Tea and a warm smile. The room was spacious, on two... More

Riad Magellan was all that I could wish for. The place is magical and has a warm and welcoming feeling. The service is impeccable and its location is ideal as it is right in the centre of the medina. I will reccomend it to everyone and am looking forward to coming back another time. Thank you for everything, you made... More

Close to souks and main square, at the same time tucked away in a tranquil corner. Simple and fresh breakfast, ideal to set you up for the day. We ate one evening, totally spoilt with attentive service, fire lit and tasty food. With ref to a previous feedback- one of the best showers we have experienced and no offensive sewer... More

Our family has been to stay many times in the Riad Megellan over the last eight years and I feel that we can say, from repeated experience and with all honesty, that is is one of the most charming places we have been to in our frequent visits to the country. What I find most valuable about the Riad is... More
