We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riad Kaiss! The Riad is extremely well located and beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the food was excellent. They were also very helpful in providing a local taxi and recommending and booking restaurants for us. We especially loved the local caramel shampoo in the bathroom and our experience in the traditional hammam bath. We can’t wait to come and stay again!

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. You are met at the Airport in a luxury car & driven to the nearest taxi point To the Riad. You are met here with a cart & escorted to the Riad. Here they welcomed us with tea and pastries. A calm oasis with running water and trees/ flowers etc all around. It’s a lovely Riad set 4 / 5 minutes walk from the Souks and equidistant to the taxi point. This is most helpful and definitely a good location if you want to me amongst the “real Marrakech”! We booked the Suite with private terrace - obvs at extra cost but it was fabulous HIGHLY recommend this room. So nice having your own sun beds and a big day bed too! We had lunch and breakfast on our own terrace. But there are lots of places to eat in and around the Riad. Our room was on different levels that added to its mystique! Great towels too! Their roof top is lovely - very pretty with flowers and plants abound. Trees adorn the inner area and attract the birds with the morning and afternoon chorus. Soooo relaxing. Mona and Laila were terrific - organising trips et all. This Riad has their own links to private transfer (shared with Riad Dar Anika- highly recommend this one too!) who can drop you to restaurants etc and they include airport transfers as part of the room cost. We booked a private day trip with this company to the Atlas Mountains. We had Hakim for the day -such a lovely driver/guide. Super friendly and spoke perfect English. (This was an amazing day out -9.30-5.30pm we saw all sorts along the way. Here in the mountains we met our Berber guide Hassan - super friendly too- we Went hiking and donkey riding up and down steep mountains/ saw the waterfall / had Tea and biscuits then lunch, just the two of us with our driver, at the Berber guides house - cooked by his wife. Literally in the middle of nowhere- it was amazing! Then camel ride on way home) All the staff at our Riad were friendly and helpful. Even when we moved to our next Riad they were still of great help. Much more so than those at Riad 72! We had a wonderful dinner at Riad Dar Anika - their sister hotel - 5 minutes away. Drinks on the roof top bar were lovely - especially if you catch sunset- makes for some lovely photos. There’s the call to prayer every now and again which is enchanting and loved hearing it, it’s all part of Moroccan life. There was a little noise from next door building 10-3pm but ur out must of the time so not a problem. We seemed to not be in the Riad for too long as there’s so much to see and do everywhere! The Souks are amazing- haggle hard!! Cleanliness wise this was the perfect place to be - spotlessly clean and very well maintained everywhere too. Unlike a few we visited later in our stay- avoid Malika!! In summary - you won’t find a nicer Riad, staff are lovely, food and decor on point. Fab little roof top terrace. Book this one! You won’t regret it!!

Thank you for your review. We are so glad you chose to stay at Riad Kaiss and we enjoyed your visit very much. Six nights is a great amount of time to spend in Marrakesh. It allows for some free time and relaxation. Our riad is large and spacious. You can disappear into one of the sunny corners and feel completely alone. Our riad and location are perfect for guests who want to experience the medina and sightseeing of Marrakesh but also want to recharge their batteries. When we first meet you we like to find out what it is you want to do in Marrakesh and then help design the perfect itinerary suited just to you. We find this cuts down the time it takes to get orientated and increases your enjoyment of the city. We are very grateful for your review and the time you took to write it. All the team at Riad Kaiss

From the start everything went smoothly. Booking was easy and we spoke on the phone about our vegan dietry requirements and all was accommodated for.. we were met at the airport by the driver who was very courteous and friendly.. arrived at the hotel and were seated in the central garden.. which is just exquisite.. the water fountain and the birds combined sounds were so relaxing.. then we were given a vegan version of a traditional Morrocan welcome drink, more impresssed with the fact they remembered. .. we had everything explained to us.. we had booked the Slultan experience so had airport pickup/dropoff, 4 course lunch, a hamam and a half day tour. so worth every penny... I can't say enogh good things about the staff. Mohamed and Leaha were amazing. The food was actually some of the best we had in the whole 5 days we spent in Marrakesh which we were pleasantly surprised at. Breakfast everyday in a different location.. on the roof, on the balcony by the 1st floor lounge.. at our room.. nothing was too much trouble. We are 100% going to stay here again and every time we visit. Fantastic location ... a minutes walk away from the bustling lanes and so quiet and relaxing. Just what we needed. To boot, the internal decoration and style is just stunning. So much attention to detail. My wife is an interior designer and when she is visually overwhelmed, then you know its something special... the pictures really can never don't do it enough justice.. and i don't think even the best photographer could.. like the best sunset .. you just gotta experience it. Thanks for all your hospitality. ...and see you soon.

We sincerely do hope we see you again soon. It was a great pleasure to have you stay under our roof and we loved the way you were so interested in the Moroccan design and craftsmanship on show in our riad. Christian Ferre, a well known French architect designed the riad and the interiors. He had very exacting standards and this is evident years after his death. We carefully care for the riad and see it as our duty to maintain the beautiful craftsmanship that he created. Thank you so much for coming to our place and for writing this review. Wonderful experience. Beautiful space, from the rooms to the garden to the walkways. Attentive staff, catering to any needs and providing wonderful suggestions - Laila and Mona were especially helpful. The meals were some of the best we had in Marrakech. The hammam and massage were wonderfully relaxing, as was the courtyard for a mid-day break from the bustle of the city. The location was perfect - easy walking distance to everything in the Medina but just away from the noisiest spots. The riad provided a mobile phone to make it easy to call for a driver if needed, as well as use maps or any internet searches, and will arrange outside reservations, tours, etc.

Thank you for coming to stay at our riad. We want no one to go home without feeling the warmth of Moroccan hospitality and not being impressed by the traditional concept of a riad in the medina. The detail and craftsmanship is amazing and a lot of the craftsmen are still available to reproduce the same wonderful design. Every corner has another beautiful thing to look at and the stories of over 350 years as a beautiful building abound. We can imagine days gone by as soon as your enter through the door. We really appreciate your review. All the team at Riad Kaiss
