Just spent five nights at Les Jardins de la Medina. Upgraded to a solarium room. Fantastic hotel in a great location. Easy walk to the main square, souks and many of the main attractions. The hotel staff could not be more accommodating. The hotel is a haven of peace and quiet as soon as you walk through the door. I would certainly go back to this hotel and Marrakech. Morocco is a spectacular country.
What a truly lovely small hotel this is within 15mins walk of main square of Marrakech. From the moment we stepped behind the door an oasis opened up to us surrounding a lovely heated pool. The hotel staff were exceptional in every way, polite, attentive and so very helpful, always happy to please. Nothing was too much trouble. All spoke good English and French for those who don't speak Arabic. Breakfast isn't vast as the hotel is snall but is delicious and more than enough to start the day. Lunch menu is really good and the evening menu is top quality, very stylish and delicious. We sampled many dishes and there was a good selection of vegetarian and gluten free options too, along with many different deserts. The lemon and banana souflee was my favourite 😍 When you arrive you get asked which fragrance you want on your bed pillows... such a nice touch each night. The beds and linen in our room were top quality, so so comfortable! Each evening we were given details of the next days weather, given sweets and always with a smile. Our room, 120, had a small balcony overlooking the pool, very private and had an open fire and seating area. It was very comfortable. The hotel has a great spa too, a must for at least a hamman or massage! The rooftop terrace was a great suntrap and peaceful if you want to read etc. The amazing waiters even carried your food and drink up the 3 flights of stairs for you.... All in all our 5 day break was 5* and we can't recommend this hotel enough.... Thank you to everyone at JM. We will return.…
We stayed in January/February and this is one of the top five hotels worldwide we have stayed in. The room was excellent, the food top quality and the staff fantastic. Situated in the old city meant we could get around with ease. An excellent place to stay in Marrakech.
We had a most enjoyable holiday at this hotel at the end of January. The room we stayed in was five star, the food was excellent and the staff were wonderful. A hotel we can thoroughly recommend and will come back hopefully. The airport is 20min taxi from the hotel and it arranges it for you. The weather in January was chilly in the morning but 20+ in the afternoon.
Beautiful hotel, stunning grounds with birds and tortoises. Magical atmosphere at night. Wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. Wouldn't hesitate to return; highly recommended - thank you so much!!
We stayed in this hotel four nights. Absolutely fantastic hotel, beautiful garden and dining place, the room is big and well decorated. They paid attention to details. Exceeded expectations.Very friendly staff, good breakfast!
An absolute delight - beautiful building around a glorious central garden. A lovely sparkling clean pool surrounded by palm trees. The staff were unfailingly helpful and charming. Excellent breakfast. Super spa - I had a wonderful massage and a black soap scrub and was very well looked after. We could not have asked for more.
A charming casbah near the Medina, with a great pool and an outstanding staff. We were upgraded to a room with its own roof terrace on check in. The hotel also sent a transfer car and driver to pick us up. The rooms are very clean with efficient air con or heating. Comfortable beds. Great choice at breakfast and decent coffee. Beautifully maintained and very clean throughout. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Please ask them to call their taxi contacts to ensure you're not ripped off by drivers. Recommend 100%
A delightfully quiet oasis, hidden just inside the busy Medina walls, this charming hotel is full of character and offers exceptional level of service. A modern chrome and glass edifice it is not, but wanting somewhere peaceful to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of this lovely city, this really hit the spot for us. We stayed for 1 week half board, as we were looking to relax and not venture too far, but there was a variety of restaurants either close by or a short taxi ride away. However, the meals in the hotel were first class and varied. Breakfast was excellent with everything from fruit, meats, cheeses, cereals, pastries, pancakes and omelettes all available. Similarly for lunch, where there was an extensive menu available or you could just decide to have a snack. Our ground floor room overlooked the magnificent gardens and was comfortable and clean. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, who all went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. It is a definite place for us to return to and hopefully, next time, we will be able to explore the town further. …
This hotel is just gorgeous - it’s busy nearby and close to main sites but inside one door and it’s calm and tranquil. It’s all been said by other reviewers but the hotel and the staff are all lovely and super helpful. The rooftop terraces and the balconies all around are fabulous. Room 110 is great - it faces the sun on the downstairs balcony in the morning and it’s a solarium room type so has an upstairs roof terrace with sun till 5pm even in Dec. We stayed for 5 days and it was a super easy journey - easy from Gatwick and a hotel taxi waiting for the 10 minute transfer . We’ll be back - still more shopping to do !!
