Property is beautiful and peaceful, spa is good, room is clean and we had a nice fireplace in the room, that was arranged with wood upon request. Reservation team responded in a timely manner, which was also appreciated. With this said, service in the restaurant and front desk is very poor and a huge let down for the hotel. The only person, that I would highlight, is the lady server in the restaurant, which was polite, smiling and accommodating. And it ends here. Everyone else either only care about elder guests, to get more money from them, or they do not speak sufficient English, or they do not know, how to do their job or just do not care and you have to figure out things by yourself. Concierge help non existent and no one was able to assist in our request to check with the requirements to board a plane back home, so we had to do it by ourselves. Only thing they can do, is to call for you a taxi (which than charges you more than concierge said it would be - we already expected this). No personalized serviced. I had a birthday while staying there and not a single gesture was extended, even though I mentioned in advance, that we are coming to stay there due to that. My wife actually had to ask a spa team if a small cake can be arranged. But small gesture in the room, forget about it. Early breakfast on departure: we requested in advance, what we would like to get and at what time, since we had to leave hotel before breakfast started. Breakfast was prepared later as requested and only with a glass of orange juice, coffee, one croissant, one pain au chocolate and one yoghurt per person even though on the form you get also cereals, bread, fruits. This was not done. No bread basket, no jam, no honey, nothing and we had to wait almost 30 minutes after requested time. Not how you want a guest to leave the property. Dinned twice for dinner: manager is there speaking with only older guests, we were completely ignored, not even hello or eye contact. Server brought the food and even though it was correct order, while removing the cover of the food, he mentioned different order and while we tried to open the cover to see, what is there, he was pushing the cover back down. Seriously? After we saw, that it was correct order, he turned it into a joke. Excuse me? We had glasses for wine and water pre-arranged on the desk, but when we ordered beer, they brought additional two glasses, so we ended up with 6 big glasses on a small table and no one bothered to remove the empty glasses, so there was almost not enough space for food. No one bothers to offer another round of drinks or remove empty bottles or to offer additional bottle of water. We used the fireplace and housekeeping did not bother to remove the ashes the next day while cleaning the room. We booked the couples treatment in spa, but for the message part, we were in different rooms. This is than not a couples treatment. Wifi did not work on the balcony of the room. Overall disappointed and would not recommend. There are much better cheaper options with far more superior and personalized service around Marrakech.…
Loved the hotel and the staff were very good, could not do enough to help. Hotel on the edge of the Medina which meant 20 minute plus walk to the large square or around £5 or less each way taxi, our preferred option.
Beautiful Riad in the heart of Marrakech. Amazing interiors and hospitality of the staff. The food served in the restaurant in riad was truly great and exceptional. the location is perfect. highly recommended
This is a fantastic centrally located 5 star boutique hotel we visited in April during ramadan .All the staff were very helpful and friendly . Great to have a beautiful garden and pool to come back to after the heat and chaos of the Marrakech medina. We also used the spa for massages and nails which were all very good . You can walk everywhere from here . Arrived here during ramadam so in the evening everything shuts down from 7-7.30pm so make sure you book your resturants to work round this .Ideal weather not to hot .The breakfast was fantastic something for everyone and nothing was to much trouble . We ate in the resturant on the first night which wasnt as good as it could of been , we had the mixed salad starter which was a bad example of this course compared to all the other mixed salad starters we had , it was good service though but we do feel it could be improved and would be great to improve that so you could just come back from a busy day in the Medina and have a good authentic moroccan meal.We would definitley come back to this hotel and would recommend this well situated establishment . …
This is our third night at this hotel. The garden is beautiful with lush greens and turtles. Rooms surround the garden. We have one of the junior suites which has its own little patio with chaises and chairs. The room is clean and has all the modern conveniences. Each evening someone comes to spray fragrance of your choice on your pillows. They supply 2 large bottles of water each day which you will need every drop of because it is very dry here. I wish I brought some saline nasal sprays!! Alfresco Breakfast buffet isn’t lavish but very nice. You can order eggs and specialty coffees.
We arrived at a small door in a red wall on a narrow road in the Medina of Marrakech and were told by the driver 'you are here', which was a bit of a surprise. But walking through that door it was like going in to Narnia. We found the most beautiful and tranquil gardens and a truly fantastic hotel. The welcome included mint tea, pastries, olives and nuts and we were given the choice of three scents that were to be sprayed on our pillows at night. The staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. The bedroom was amazing with the biggest bed ever. Rose petals were always in abundance when the room was cleaned; robes were free for use as was a wicker carrier bag containing straws hats for use around the pool or on the roof top. The food was excellent too. We would thoroughly recommend having a Hamman at the hotel's spa on day one. The staff and quality of the massages were brilliant. I cannot recommend this hotel enough to those who want a peaceful retreat away from the hubbub of the city....…
I loved my stay at Les Jardins. It was at the end of my visit to Morocco and I couldn't ask for a better place to regroup. Everyone was nice. The grounds are beautiful. The restaurant and spa excellent. I was so glad I stayed here.
If you are expecting a fancy hotel with the latest gadgets or design, you may wish to consider other addresses in the Palmeraie or Hivernage. Here however the garden offers a historical oasis in the South of the Medina. If its walls could talk, some guests names would sound familiar. Professional and well trained staff where nothing is too much trouble. Comfortable and well appointed rooms I recommend you opt for those with a private roof terrace and shower to benefit from the beautiful view over the expansive gardens. A good restaurant with a high standard of French/Moroccan cuisine, delicious a la carte breakfast served in your choice of the room, or restaurant, a great size swimming pool which beats any Riad plunge pool. We did not try the spa during our stay but there is plenty of choice for weary travellers, Overall a great choice and oasis of calm in the hectic Medina which I highly recommend !…
Lovely hotel we visited for my birthday with my brother and his wife. Staff were attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Got there and we had booked a garden room my brother had a solarium room with its own balcony and I liked their room so we asked if we could upgrade as more expensive. Staff upgraded us with no trouble at all and did this for free. We were blown away by this kind gesture and was the cherry on the cake as upgraded room was fabulous. Pool is fantastic the staff are 100% courteous the gardener we met outside helped us find a local artisan shop. Waiters were great as 9pm curfew we had drinks every night on our private balcony and brought us ice buckets every night with nibbles ( crisps olives and nuts). One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Five * can’t wait to come back from Jackie Chris Anth and Marion…
My husband and I were using a voucher we had from last spring. We had a lovely stay and would have enjoyed it more, if we didn't have to work the next day. The food was absolutely delicious. The chef did a really great job of incorporating non-Moroccan dishes with local food. We also had a massage at the spa and it was equally as wonderful.
