When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready and so the lady from reception showed us to the restaurant terrace where we were meant to be served a welcome drink... Before being taken to our room we were asked which pillow scent we would like, following which we were given a brief orientation walk around the grounds before being shown to our room, number 118 on the first floor... The room was one of their Sultana rooms, it had a KSB, mini bar, a coffee machine as well as a kettle, safe, a very good aircon unit, TV and masses of wardrobe space... Each evening the maid would come to the room to spray the pillows, leave some sweets and a card with the weather for the following day...

This is a great hotel in a less nice part of Marrakech... We loved our room, the beautiful calm garden and pool area, the spa and the friendly staff... We chose a solarium room with a private sun terrace which got sun most of the day and was amazing... The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and the bed very comfortable... The room was quiet until the last night when some noisy neighbours below spoiled things... The hotel need to act more decisively to address this sort of thing...

...I handed her 40, she gave me back 10, and that’s it. Not sure why she didn’t give me the full change of 12... Then the pre arranged text came for 50 local currency to the train station, which according to the locals, is the maximum one should pay for any places around Marrakech... One the way walking to the taxi, the gentleman (not Abdel) working at the reception desk instructed me to pay 60, 10 more than the pre agreed maximum cost...

...We had a welcome tea in the bar which was nice... One woman at the front desk was a real spur pus but overall great staff... The indoor breakfast room which was the main dining room was very dark though... Choices were tasty but the omelet station was not staffed properly and someone needed to summon the omelet maker... Concierge: I had made a spa reservation months before arrival and I confirmed it a week prior... They had no appt for us on the day and we had to split our Hammam treatment and massages on separate days... Also the walking tour arranged by the concierge was basically a shopping expedition of the Medina... I wouldn’t recommend booking your city tours through them... It is convenient to go to other areas of the city since there is easy access out of the medina...

When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready and so the lady from reception showed us to the restaurant terrace where we were meant to be served a welcome drink. After 15 minutes she returned but, in the meantime, we had been totally ignored by the waiters... However, this was soon rectified and from then on, our stay was brilliant... The bathroom had a bath with shower and also a separate wet room shower, toiletries were provided but these were in bottles fixed in holders to the wall... Each evening the maid would come to the room to spray the pillows, leave some sweets and a card with the weather for the following day... On our arrival we were given a bottle of wine, initially a red wine which was no problem to change to white, a basket of fruit and each day a bottle of water was provided... Breakfast which was served from 7:30 was a continental style with eggs cooked fresh however you wanted then, then each day additional hot options, like sausages, bacon etc... Lunch was also served and then late afternoon a small snack menu was available... The evening meals were served from 19:30 and booking was a must as the hotel took bookings from outside the hotel... The pool area was great with plenty of sunbeds with more available if needed and if towels were left unattended, they were regularly removed... On the morning of our departure, we were due to leave before breakfast and so a small breakfast was provided for us...

...The hotel staff were exceptional in every way, polite, attentive and so very helpful, always happy to please... All spoke good English and French for those who don't speak Arabic... The lemon and banana souflee was my favourite 😍 When you arrive you get asked which fragrance you want on your bed pillows... such a nice touch each night... The beds and linen in our room were top quality, so so comfortable!... Each evening we were given details of the next days weather, given sweets and always with a smile... The hotel has a great spa too, a must for at least a hamman or massage!... The amazing waiters even carried your food and drink up the 3 flights of stairs for you.... All in all our 5 day break was 5* and we can't recommend this hotel enough....

The indoor breakfast room which was the main dining room was very dark though... Grounds: very peaceful and well maintained... Concierge: I had made a spa reservation months before arrival and I confirmed it a week prior... They had no appt for us on the day and we had to split our Hammam treatment and massages on separate days... Also the walking tour arranged by the concierge was basically a shopping expedition of the Medina... It is convenient to go to other areas of the city since there is easy access out of the medina...

...We spent a wonderful 4 nights at Les jardins de la Medina. The staff were delightful, our room huge and beautifully decorated and the gardens absolutely stunning... We ate in the restaurant 3 nights out of 4 because the food was good, the dining room was bustling and had a lovely roaring fire...

Just spent five nights at Les Jardins de la Medina... Fantastic hotel in a great location... Easy walk to the main square, souks and many of the main attractions... The hotel staff could not be more accommodating... The hotel is a haven of peace and quiet as soon as you walk through the door... I would certainly go back to this hotel and Marrakech...

We stayed in January/February and this is one of the top five hotels worldwide we have stayed in. The room was excellent, the food top quality and the staff fantastic... Situated in the old city meant we could get around with ease... An excellent place to stay in Marrakech...

...What a truly lovely small hotel this is within 15mins walk of main square of Marrakech. From the moment we stepped behind the door an oasis opened up to us surrounding a lovely heated pool... All spoke good English and French for those who don't speak Arabic... Breakfast isn't vast as the hotel is snall but is delicious and more than enough to start the day... Lunch menu is really good and the evening menu is top quality, very stylish and delicious... Our room, 120, had a small balcony overlooking the pool, very private and had an open fire and seating area... The hotel has a great spa too, a must for at least a hamman or massage!... The rooftop terrace was a great suntrap and peaceful if you want to read etc... The amazing waiters even carried your food and drink up the 3 flights of stairs for you.... All in all our 5 day break was 5* and we can't recommend this hotel enough....

A delightfully quiet oasis, hidden just inside the busy Medina walls, this charming hotel is full of character and offers exceptional level of service... We stayed for 1 week half board, as we were looking to relax and not venture too far, but there was a variety of restaurants either close by or a short taxi ride away... However, the meals in the hotel were first class and varied... Breakfast was excellent with everything from fruit, meats, cheeses, cereals, pastries, pancakes and omelettes all available... Similarly for lunch, where there was an extensive menu available or you could just decide to have a snack... Our ground floor room overlooked the magnificent gardens and was comfortable and clean... Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, who all went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable...

We would definitely recommend Les Jardins as a great place to stay in Marrakesh. its about a mile to walk to the main square but its still very accessible... The bedrooms are comfortable and the property has a beautiful garden and a small heated pool... There is also a very nice roof terrace if the pool area is busy... The breakfast buffet was also very good with plenty of nice choices... Dinner in the restaurant was also excellent although the menu was a bit limited but we enjoyed everything we ate...

This is a great hotel in a less nice part of Marrakech. Once inside the front door its a lovely oasis from the city... We loved our room, the beautiful calm garden and pool area, the spa and the friendly staff... Breakfast and lunch were great (fresh salads, chilled wine) but dinner just OK (overcooked meat and different atmosphere)... Wifi was OK but needs to reload every time you use it which becomes annoying... We chose a solarium room with a private sun terrace which got sun most of the day and was amazing... The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and the bed very comfortable... The outdoor gym area doesn't seem to be used... The spa was amazing with very good hammam which is worth a try and nice massages at good prices... A good choice, especially if you value the calm of a large garden/pool area...

...Gorgeous setting, professional and friendly staff, amazing city! This hotel is situated on a quiet road 20 mins walk to the central square and 5 mins from lovely restaurants... From the welcoming staff, to the waiting staff to the cleaners, everyone was so professional... I'd love to go back to marrakesh and this hotel in particular... The city is a mix of so many cultures and the hotel is a relaxing oasis!...

Beautiful Moroccan style hotel with gorgeous spacious rooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the afternoons in the heat of the day... The hotel is a bit of a walk to the central Medina area but this added to the experience with things to see along the way...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. After much research we decided to book this hotel as they catered for vegetarian and gluten free... The restaurant staff went beyond their way to make sure there was enough choice for the vegeterian/ gluten free menu...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Les Jardins. It was very relaxing. The room is a good size and ours had a door to the garden with some chairs and a table. The services were brilliant. The Hammam was really good and our experiences in the restaurat never disappointed.

Hotel's Favorite
A perfectly lovely hotel in all ways. Hidden behind walls in the Medina, the door opens into a delightful hotel with beautiful gardens and great swimming pool. We stayed in a Garden Room. It was large with plenty of wardrobe space and the most comfortable bed ever with quality linen. The amenities provided equal that of a 5 star hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of the main Square and Souk and is extremely quiet with very little external noise (apart from Prayer time). The spa is fabulous and well worth a visit. The girls are fantastic. Highlight of the hotel are the staff. They are outstanding. They are always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. Large swimming pool but unfortunately some guests place their belongings on the prime position beds first thing in the morning, which is rather selfish. This has been noted in previous reviews. Would definitely return to this fabulous hotel.

I don't know how to thank you for taking the time to write such a laudatory comment! I'm really pleased that you wanted to share, in such a detailed way, your lovely experience. Although near the Medina, this place provides a complete change of scenery in an unspoilt exotic and authentic oasis. Giving happiness is our job and our reward is to know that you are satisfied. However, your friendly remark has been heard and I thank you for it. We have 37 transats offered in priority to our hotel guests. I dare to hope that they are always used in a proper and courteous manner. You will always be welcome at Les Jardins de la Médina. Your wish to come back has touched my heart, we can't wait to welcome you back!

We stayed at the Jardins de la Medina for a week in late November, in one of the Sultane rooms. Pulling up to the hotel gives you no idea of the scale waiting behind the walls - a lovely well kept garden with tortoises and secluded rooms awaits. The swimming pool was chilly at this time of year but certainly still good to have on the warmer days. Service from the restaurant and bar was prompt and friendly. Reception were always happy to organise taxis or accommodate requests. The hotel is around 20 minutes walk from Jemaa El-Fna square and about 5-10 minutes from the Saadian Tombs. If I had any criticisms they would be that the cost of a late checkout was rather expensive, and that it would be good to get more than one bottle of water provided in the rooms daily (these cost 30Dh from the hotel bar, so not cheap). But there are local souks where you can pick these up for less, so it’s not a major problem. There’s plenty of choice at breakfast, though it wasn’t always fully ready at opening time (7:30am) though this was only an issue when we had early tours booked. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable stay!

A very calming place. Beautiful gardens. Very relaxing in a well located but quiet area. Places to eat near by. Staff are attentive and friendly. Just lots of details from hats to wear by the pool and a lounge area in the room. Also we left something in a room and the hotel contacted us, really above and beyond.

We booked a day pass, consisting of Spa treatment, lunch and pool time. Quality place and staff, food was superb. Many thanks to Ghizlane and Amina for our couples massage. Very relaxing, professional service and a detailed full body massage. Many thanks. Only aspects stopping me providing 5 star instead of 4 star was that the lunch provided no drinks as part of the package, not even water. Also, I thought it was tight to limit to 2 courses, instead of 3.

The hotel gives you a nice feeling with its beautiful architecture, lush gardens, the heated swimming pool (but very shady) and stylish restaurant. The rooms are advertised as soundproof, but that's not the case, you can hear people in the other rooms talking. If you're a light sleeper that might put you off.
