A beautiful and tranquil Riad in the centre of Marrakech within a short walking distance of the Medina and other attractions. After a wonder around of the streets it was like coming back to a tille paradise to relax with a glass of Rose in the pool. Breakfast was fantastic as were the afternoon smoothies and watermelon. Youssef, Fatima and Mustapha we so attentive and helpful in any way. We loved the "burner phone" we were provided with in case we got lost. Trip highlights were The Secret Garden, Bar Arabe for sunset drinks and Nomad for dinner. We also booked transfers through Youssef and Hammam and a massage - wonderful ! We will be back. Value for money vs quality of accomodation and facilities plus service was also 10/10. Thank you
This is a wonderful place to stay. It is well located in the old town for the souks, but also the Jardin Majorelle was within walking distance. The riad is beautiful and is a tranquil place to stay. The hosts were amazingly welcoming and attentive and their food was suberb. Our room was lovely and comfortable. I couldn't fault it and would love to return one day!
This beautiful riad is perfectly located near the center of the Marrakech Medina within walking distance of many major sites like Jardin Secret, Jardin Majorelle, Jamaal el-Fnaa, the various souks, and multiple mosques. It is kept in oristine condition with traditional architecture dating back to the 17th century when it was built! We stayed in the Deluxe Suite and it was perhaps the most stunning room we ever stayed in with beautiful art and furniture, vaulted cielings, and the most magical bathroom we have seen. The breakfast which is included is absolutely delicious and Fatima is an incredible chef. The dinner is extra but super cheap at 10 euro per meal which is incredible given the 3 course meal would easily be double or triple elsewhere. The convenience of walking out of your room and being served breakfast and dinner in a private courtyard away from the noise and crowds of the city is serene. The staff are like a family and everyone who works there is incredibly pleasant, helpful, and hard working. They all speak Arabic, French, and English. We are already planning our next trip back there!…
This is a perfect riad for a true Marrakech experience. Very close to the souks and jemma el-fna, Le Jardin Secret, and other important places, it feels like an oasis, a small paradise, where you can escape when heat is too much to hadle or you need to rest from all the sightseeing. The staff is welcoming and warm. The swiming pool and jacuzzi are very inviting in spring-summer weather. You can lounge, read and relax at the grand patio, the sallon and the 2 terraces, drinking orange juice and eating watermelon. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is delicious. We will for sure return.
Me, my husband and two children stayed at the Riad for 2 nights in April. I highly recommend this Riad. This was my best "hotel" experience ever. The owner, the manager and all the Staff at the Riad were so nice and made the stay so wonderful every minute. I wished we had booked more nights there and would for sure book this Riad again. The rooms are beautiful, cosy and comfortable and give you the real Marocco feel. The food at Riad was great, both breakfast and dinner. We ate dinner at the Riad twice. The spa is very good, we booked some treatments for all of us. The Riad has a great roof top area for chilling as well as chilling areas on other levels. There is a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi on ground floor. The owner and manager helped us a lot with organising our activities in Marrakesh and transport to other places. They also gave us many recommendations which were super helpful. This stay and experience was way beyond my expectation and I look forward to stay at Riad Alili again.…
My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights in the Alili Suite. The Riad is located inside the Medina, within easy walking distance to the square and many souks Our suite was spacious with excellent Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a good size bathroom. The staff was very attentive, personable and did an excellent job of seeing to our needs. We eat most of our meals here, and all meals, breakfast and dinner were excellent. The personal attention given to guests here is extraordinary. Thank you, Christophe, Youssef, Fatima, Mustapha and staff for making our stay such a memorable experience.
We traveled to Marrakesh in April with our 2 sons aged 18 and 21. Our stay in Riad Alili is to remember. This Riad is in a great location in the medina: a 5 minute walk from the souks and from the Bab Doukalla gate, 15 minutes from Jemaa El Fna. We were picked up from (and returned to) the airport for free. The Riad is run by Christophe, a charming and well-traveled Frenchman, along with an outstanding team led by Yousef. We slept in the beautiful and spacious Bougainvillier suite, our sons in the cozy Jasmine room. Both are equipped with every comfort, neat, beautiful bathrooms and plenty of storage. We could choose the scent of the shower creams ourselves! The beds were sufficiently long and wide, the suite had a fireplace that was also lit one evening when it got a bit chilly. The Riad is beautifully decorated with Moroccan carpets and art, authentic without being kitschy. On the ground floor is the patio with a nice pool in the middle, surrounded by tables for eating, drinking, reading a book or planning a trip. On the first floor there are tables and lounge chairs overlooking the patio, on the second floor you have a roof terrace with beautiful views of the city. Breakfast is served at the table and is super. The last evening was unforgettable and we ate with the other guests from Iceland, Northern Ireland and France an absolutely heavenly Moroccan dish, with wine treated by the patron. What makes this Riad unique, however, are the people who work there: always ready without imposing themselves, a smile, the naturalness with which things are arranged (going outside to exchange a 200 Dihram bill at a local merchant, the booking of a trip to Ait Ben Haddou, a proper map of the souks, ...). Christophe, Yousef, Mustapha, Mohammed, Fatima and all the others from the Riad: thank you for making our trip to Marrakech unforgettable. All the best to you!…
Me and my partner stayed here for two nights in early March. The riad was beyond expectations, very beautiful, clean and cosy with excellent service from all the staff. Everyone at the riad was super polite, helpful and welcoming and made us feel very spoilt during the stay. The jacuzzi is an excellent addition as not many others we looked at had one. The open fire in the rooms was excellent as well. All the little touches that the riad had made it arguably the best place we have ever stayed and would recommend it to anyone. We would definitely love to return!
what a wonderful hotel! The place itself is beautifully decorated and maintained, and offers some much needed peace from the busy streets of Marrakech. The staff is absolutely incredible and put in tremendous effort to make sure guests are fully satisfied. I have never been this looked after in a hotel!
I stayed here with my son for 4 days in February. What can I say other than that it was truly lovely. The team were always kind, generous and so attentive. We will never forget your kindness. The Riad is so gorgeous. We loved everything: the pool; the food; the ambience; the attention to detail and the kindness. At the moment, it feels like a lifetime away..but we will return and next time with the whole family. I hope you are all well. What a beautiful oasis your Riad is. Take care. Emma and Louis Xx
