At beginning the hotel looks like very good and also the employees , so first night it was nothing to say. Day later we get breakfast on swimming pool and the waiter was very polite, but the morning later the disaster. One waiter ( woman) starts to scream that we can not and we have in that case to bring the goods alone from inside to outside paying 5 euro each , she was terrible Unpolite. I asked about the director that was not there e and nobody take care of us. It was our Eastern morning , so in Ramadam we will not use any kind of unpolite question because we understand that they are follows the religion but they don t do that with us , IT IS A NOT TRUE 5 starts Hotel. Do not trust in them . They also forget the tavels when they clean the room and also my room it was not with bath tube as request. The swimming pool is very small ( you can not find place to take sun) and the spa are only one swimming pool internal with some kond of Jacuzzi . Nothing else. Worst stay ever in my life in Hotel. They act like if i m a thief. Price very high for that kind of quality.

I recommend this place for majority of people who travel alone for short vacations or business porposes besides the hotel services also they provide private services in the hotel room , the best experience i had was with one of the hotel employees Nadia Naji , she took care of me for all duration of my stay at Hotel Cesar every evening privately and she can even escort me as town guide in daytime , she is very friendly and very professional in private bedroom services under high discretion , for sure i will come back very soon to meet her at this fine hotel , She is at the services of every gentleman anytime !

I booked the hotel for my girlfriend’s surprise 30th birthday weekend, which ended up being our engagement proposal weekend. Before travelling, the sales team where fantastic is providing us with a really good birthday package and the reassurance we received throughout the process was too good to believe the deal was real. We arrived on the day and everything we were told was provided. On the day, I spoke to the receptionist staff and together we began planning the surprise engagement proposal for that evening. Again, the calmness and reassurance from the reception team was unreal and they even got us a last minute VIP booking at the Buddha Bar for my girlfriend’s birthday dinner. On arrival back at the hotel, everything the reception team promised for the engagement proposal was provided and even more!!!! I really can’t thank you guys enough (I.e. Ms Houri, Mr Osama and the lovely team). I will definitely be back soon. Will I recommend??... 1000% yes!!!

When leaving the hotel I was given a huge bill of things I had never even had let alone ordered (amounting to hundreds of pounds). Hugely disappointed at the dishonesty of the hotel. Everything on the bill was also apparently ordered at times when we were eating out of the hotel as well as the fact the hotel had made the bookings!! All in all the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever come across. Since I have come across multiple stories of the hotels dishonesty.

We were 3 nights in Cesar and really liked this hotel , it's decorated beautifully, the breakfast is good and the stuff friendly. The pool in Spa has very warm water which is good to enjoy in colder and rainy days.

I don’t even know where to begin, our whole experience was beyond a joke. If you want to stay in a hotel that appears to have had no maintenance done since it opened with no towels and leaks dripping on you whilst you eat your breakfast without cutlery then you mustn’t delay, book today. The 5 star rating is an absolute joke and don’t rely on their glossy marketing pictures, most of the furniture in them is no longer there and it no longer resembles the state that this place is now in. Staff are rude and there is a no hospitality. It takes a lot for me to moan, all my other tripadvisor reviews are very positive so please reconsider if you were thinking of staying at Cesar Resort & Spa.

This has to be one of the most disappointing experiences i have ever day. I stayed in Cesar this summer and took a large group of friends. To cut to the chase, when i left i was presented with a HUGE bill off things that none of me or my friends had ordered, the night before we left i asked to settle the bill and see what we HAD spent and they assured me it was all sorted other than the tax charge. The next morning with an hour before we left for our flight i was presented with numerous receipts for food, drinks etc that were not ours. With no time left to spare i had to cover the bill and take the photocopies of the receipts as evidence. SO what was found is that most of the bills were TABLE 7 not room 7 (one of our rooms) and furthermore the more disgraceful thing was that on a night we had visited the Buddah bar for supper BOOKED BY THE HOTEL we had been charged for a huge supper bill from the hotel when they fully knew none of us were even in the hotel as they had booked the restaurant, the taxis and knew when we got back. All in all hugely disappointing and a sad end to a trip that could have been amazing. Advice to the hotel - be honest.

After reading the reviews we were expecting good things about this hotel, unfortunately the laziness and ineptitude of the majority of Male staff, along with the decor, cleanliness in this hotel proved otherwise. Our arrival at Marrakesh Airport should have been greeted with a taxi booked through the hotel, this didn’t happen. Upon ringing the we were told one would be with us within 10min. 20min later I am getting a cab independently who as we found out with most taxi drivers ripped us off charging double the current rate. The hotel said they didn’t have the taxi booking, and then found it! At the hotel our welcome drink I think was a slush puppy, and when we asked for something alcoholic was charged accordingly. As a reference; Margarita £10 G&T £8.60 Coffee £3.00 etc. The hotel is billed as 5*, in reality it is 3*. The common areas have stained frayed carpets, chunks out of walls, and very poor lighting. Food left outside rooms in the evening are not collected until the following evening which causes a problem with flies, and the general hygiene of the hotel is shocking. What are very good are the rooms themselves provided you upgrade to at least a superior. Large beds excellent space with a patio area to relax outside. Bathroom areas are very spacious and removed enough from the bedroom to maintain privacy. The cleaning of the rooms cannot be faulted either which makes the fact everywhere else is dirty disappointing. The food is very poor with no change in menu to any of the sittings, and the fact we never saw anyone dining spoke for itself. The pool if you like Artic conditioning will be a delight, as it was freezing! Try and get a towel and you need to ask about three times, and then it’s provided grudgingly. Want a drink by the pool? It’s time for a stroll to find a waiter. What you find with this hotel is everything is reactive not proactive. This leads on to the staff. The spa girls are fabulous, helpful, energetic and a credit to the hotel, in fact so are all the female staff we dealt with. The men though are different breed, arrogant, surly, and basically lie to your face. The two guys who were at front of house are typical of these comments. Totally incompetent, and a discredit to the hotel. Ring down from your room to book a restaurant, and ask for a call back, no chance. Ask them to pre book a taxi from your room ? Easier to take a book to reception, and do it yourself while you read and wait. They are appalling, to the degree that you can be having a conversation with one of them, and mid sentence he will get up and walk away to fix something else. Also do not book excursions through them, as it will be a relative of theirs who takes you, and you will also be ripped off. This hotel is run through a company called Prestigia who are developers in the area. What is a shame is that get rid of the deadwood male staff, show more attention to detail, and customer service, and it would be fab. Just one thing to be wary about is Marrakesh airport. It is painstaking, and slow! From landing it was as 90min before we saw outside. Also the Taxi drivers will rip you off at any given opportunity so negotiate a price before you step inside. If they say “I give you special price” half it!Good luck 😉
