We had a wonderful 4 night stay with Riad Al Loune. I would describe it as a peaceful boutique riad in the heart of the medina. The location is ideal for exploring the city. Jawad provided great customer service during our stay. He gave us excellent advice, was highly attentive, and held us organize a day trip with a private driver. The rooms and central courtyard area of cute and tastefully furnished in a local style. The AC in our room worked very well (which was critical for a July trip). Overall, we had an excellent experience and would stay here again.
The best Riad in Morocco for the stunning architect which felt like a little Palace and for the amazing hospitality from the staff. Thank you so much for making our stay so special. Riad is about 5 minutes walk from the square and very nice walk
The Riad al Aloune was an excellent base for our unforgettable visit to Marrakech. The building is very beautiful, the rooms comfortable and clean, the breakfasts varied, delicious and plentiful. The evening meals are delicious and very good value-if you are lucky you may be accompanied mesmerising traditional lute music. However the best thing about the riad was the wonderful staff, J and F and the lovely laughing ladies. They were all so helpful and kind and a mine of useful information. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all.
Stayed here for a weekend with my Son and it’s an amazingly beautiful Riad in a great location an easy stroll from the taxi and and easy stroll to the main square and the Souk ,from our arrival greeting to our final goodbye the staff could not have been more kind or helpful, The Riad itself is so pretty with five beautiful rooms and a stunning Roof garden with plenty of seating in the sun and in the shade would highly recommend Riad Al Loune what better way to explore this beautiful city Thankyou
We had a lovely time staying. Our hosts were friendly and hugely helpful with sorting things out for us. Plus tasty snacks and mint tea. Overall a great stay and nice to just relax on the roof terrace with its sun beds and good view. Thank you. I hope to be back.
we had a great stay at the Riad. we had 2 rooms. food was good. bed comfortable. the staff were great. they really try and make sure you have everything you need. they helped with directions, driving me on their moped to a cooking class, etc. great people.
Hidden away down narrow streets this Riad is a hidden treasure. We stayed four nights, always managed to find our way back and enjoyed sitting on the roof to end our day. Jawad was the most helpul young man who offered to rescue us should we get lost, was extremely capable and friendly. He spent some time with us one evening and sang to us with his Lute. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the staff responsible for the rooms always friendly. If your looking for somewhere in Marrakesh, this is it. We wil be back
The location is in some alley behind an alley. Make sure you have a map when going there and back. The riad itself is really pretty, with a nice pool, comfortable room and fancy bathroom. Upon arrival I was presented with tea and pastries, and breakfast every morning came with fresh fruit, yoghurt and bread. All in all I definitely recommend this place. Shame of the location.
Kadisha picked us up from where the taxi took us and we had to walk for three minutes to get to the riad. As soon as the door opens you are in a different world: quiet, clean, calm, beautiful arabic architecture. Rooms are clean and spacious, wonderfully done and have air condition. The red and the green room we booked were on the first floor, had windows to the court of the Riad and were therefore quiet. In the yellow room you could hear all the noises from the street (garbage collection, kids playing football till midnight, rattling of the suitcases on the cobblstones,...) and it also stank from the canal and the exhausts from the motorbikes. Nevertherless it was a beautiful room. Rooms were cleaned every day, breakfast was fabulous and you get fruit, mint tea and a waterbottle on the room for free. Lovely sitting in the courtyard and on the rooftop terrace. Jaouad served the breakfast and was very friendly and helpful. All the staff made you feel welcomed. One evening we booked dinner which was very good as well and even the better in the wonderful atmosphrere of the riad. Most of the sites in the Medina are near by as well as the suqs. We had a great time there and would book it again.…
Lovely little hidden gem! Only has about 6 rooms, so it felt very intimate. Breakfast was very nice and the pool area very sweet. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and very nice! A bit tricky to find, but well worth it!
