The Riad al Aloune was an excellent base for our unforgettable visit to Marrakech. The building is very beautiful, the rooms comfortable and clean, the breakfasts varied, delicious and plentiful. The evening meals are delicious and very good value-if you are lucky you may be accompanied mesmerising traditional lute music. However the best thing about the riad was the wonderful staff, J and F and the lovely laughing ladies. They were all so helpful and kind and a mine of useful information. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all.

We had a wonderful time here. The ambience was very authentic, and the rooms very comfortable and quiet. We ate the best Moroccan food we ate anywhere here, all of the Tagines were delicious. It's in a fabulous location which is easily "findable" - useful given the laberynth of streets. The hosts couldn't have done more, taking calls for us and making sure that we knew where to go and what to do. The roof terrace is also worth the walk up to.
Pease note you have to walk in the last few hundred metres, but that reduces the noise.

Hidden away down narrow streets this Riad is a hidden treasure. We stayed four nights, always managed to find our way back and enjoyed sitting on the roof to end our day.
Jawad was the most helpul young man who offered to rescue us should we get lost, was extremely capable and friendly. He spent some time with us one evening and sang to us with his Lute. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the staff responsible for the rooms always friendly.
If your looking for somewhere in Marrakesh, this is it. We wil be back

Although the Riad is in a good location, the pool is dirty, WiFi is poor, and it is very difficult to sleep. The Riad is extremely noisy overnight, particularly in the upstairs rooms, due to local neighbours arguing and children screaming loudly until 2am-3am every night.
Our belongings were packed & moved to a different room by staff while we were out one day, without notice- which was inappropriate and an invasion of privacy.
When we complained about the noise & moving of our belongings, the manager, Jawad, was extremely rude, angry and intimidating, yelling loudly, making us feel very uncomfortable & upset.
We have never experienced such terrible hospitality, and would not recommend this Riad.

Beautiful Riad in the centre of Marrakech. The service and staff were excellent. We felt well looked after, from house keepers to the managers, the staff could not have been more helpful. Ayoub picked us up upon arrival, provided info and was just lovely to chat to.
Even gluten free bread was provided upon request (thank you!).
The room we stayed in (Rouge double) was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The shower pressure and WiFi strength could potentially be slightly improved, but who cares when you are staying in such a great place. You get a stunning view from the roof terrace.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay with Riad Al Loune. I would describe it as a peaceful boutique riad in the heart of the medina. The location is ideal for exploring the city. Jawad provided great customer service during our stay. He gave us excellent advice, was highly attentive, and held us organize a day trip with a private driver. The rooms and central courtyard area of cute and tastefully furnished in a local style. The AC in our room worked very well (which was critical for a July trip). Overall, we had an excellent experience and would stay here again.

I stayed at this Riad over a decade ago and the place has not changed! The staff are incredible and go above and beyond. The Riad itself is beautiful, peaceful and authentic Moroccan - has everything you need - decent WiFi, comfortable beds, swimming pool and a beautiful sun terrace. The breakfast is great and you can always ask for more/change it up. The location is great if you want to be in the medina/near the souks. Would 100% stay again.

The place is simply incredibly stunning. The mural decorations will make you feel like you are living in the Bahia Palace. Relax in the central pool after a long day in the hot city of Marrakech. Thank you for the staff for making our stay very relaxing before our flight home.

Beautiful Riad about 10 minute walk from the main square. Comfortable spacious rooms. Nice roof to terrace. Do have dinner at the Riad - best tagines we had all week. Breakfasts were delicious too. We were there in January when it is cold out of the sun - the atrium where you eat was freezing - needed to wear coats. Won't be a problem as it warms up though! They do offer transfers from the airport which we didn't know about until too late.
