Riad Princesse du Desert Nothing is too good for her. Equidistant from the " Jemaa El Fna " and " Door Dar El Bacha " , the location of Riad Princesse du Desert is exceptional especially since it offers beautiful calm and tranquility. Nestled in the Medina, the small alley that leads to the riad is a wonder with warm colors that contrast with the blue sky and vegetation that is rare in the Medina which can give the feeling of a Provence in Marrakech. Additionally beautiful decoration, attention to detail , arches , columns and moucharabiehs , lace white stucco ceilings, zellij ( tiled ) walls and featuring an alchemy of colors and smells with refined bath products (jasmine and amber ) make this a wonderful place to be . Additionally, not forgetting comfort alongside the beauty, each of the 6 rooms feature air conditioning, soft bedding and luxury linens. Breakfast is included in the price and we offer complimentary Moroccan mint tea and coffee with homemade cookies at all times.

I stayed at Riad Princesse du Desert the first week of October with four friends. We had a great time, the riad is located inside the souk of Marrakech. The location is great, within walking distance of all major attractions and points of interest in the city. Good cleanliness and accommodations, a small oasis of tranquility in the confusion of the city. Breakfast, served on the rooftop of the structure, is varied and with quality products, every day a different juice of fresh fruit and many local delicacies and not, homemade. Note of merit and a heartfelt thanks to Abdul, manager of the riad, who made the real difference of this stay. He did his utmost to fulfill all our requests and was helpful, patient and competent in providing guidance and support to make our holiday perfect. Recommended!

Princesse du Desert is a very nice Riad in the Medina where I spent 5 nights with my family. Though, I prefer his "brother" Reves Dorient only for little things, for example Princess has amazing wooden doble doors in arab stile, and Reves has it also, but handcafted in dark wood with fine details, like pieces of art. Both really good por some days in Marrakeck. In both you will find yourself in something in the middle between an arab palace and a old rich southern spanish house, the rooms arganiced in three floors surrounding a yard, with a rooftop. Yard and rooftop are the common places, to rest, eat or have breakfast. There they held an unforgettable end of the year party with belly dancers and musicians. The family room (both riads have one) is like having two rooms for 3 and 2 people separated by a big barthroom. And with no doubt, the team that runs both riads are the best part of the stay. Samira, Adú, Fatima, Hassan and his two mates... (and some more that I cant rebember their names), they are truly concerned that you have a good stay and will make you feel at home. For example, the time for breakfast is the time you decide. We had breakfast one day at 6:30, and the rest at 11:00. Also, I asked for grapes for the party, is an old spanish tradition, and they brought me some with no charge. I recommend it.

We had booked through booking.com and received this riad as an upgrade; stayed in the family, so to speak. The latter includes five riad and a spa, which we also visited.
A shrouded old building located in one of the winding back streets of the souk. Absolutely ok; you still have to get used to turning. The hotel offers a very good insight into the architecture and is absolutely quiet. Very clean, very attentive staff, nice roof terrace. One evening we had chosen dinner. Tasty without sensational character, slightly overpriced. Ideally, you only travel with carry-on luggage, as you struggle through the whole souk.

Small riad in the middle of the northern medina. Ideal as a starting point. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast on the roof terrace. A bit more oriental flair and furnishings in the rooms would have been appropriate for the price. Nevertheless, we would recommend the riad.

Everything was amazing but, when we're going to leave the Riad, they asked us to pay for a feed (5e/day), when our smartbox included all expenses. It's a pitty, cause everything was really nice: the welcome tea, the accommodation, the breakfast, the rooftop... Specially, the attention of the Riad's warden, Idriss, who was really close and helpful. But, at the end, you have the feeling that everybody want to scam you, Riad included, and that glooms the trip.

We left from June 19 to 23, 2023, we were immediately welcomed by Abdul and his colleagues. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly with good meals and typical dances. Furthermore I would like to thank Abdul because he helped us a lot because we had a small logistical problem and he was very accommodating so he was able to give us all the necessary advice. Thank you very much again, we advise you to go there with your eyes closed. Sharon and Maylis.

The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The staff was always available and extremely kind. The food was delicious and the special night with belly dancers and musicians was amazing and fun. My boyfriend and I stayed here for three days and had the most wonderful time. The riad is located in the Medina, in a quiet, safe and silent spot. It takes 10 minutes walking from the riad to the square Jamaa El Fna. A special thanks goes to all the staff, who was amazing in giving us the best advices for our time in Marrakech and also kept us company and treated us as part of their family. We really hope to see you again, thanks for everything. A big hug from Italy❤️❤️❤️

We stayed for a week in November and loved this Riad. Breakfast was excellent and the location was quiet but convenient once you get your bearings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife also had a massage at the hammam they owned just around the corner.
We started with the room on the roof which we really liked however as they wanted to do some work to the atrium roof we were moved down to the turquoise suite on the first floor, which was bigger but equally as nice.
They know how to throw a party and we attended a couple. The food was good and the beer was cold. Really enjoyed the musicians.
All in all a great stay at a highly recommended Riad.

Very pretty Ryad right in the Medina and yet very quiet! Spacious room and comfortable bedding (small negative point on the bathroom which lacks privacy). The terrace is super pleasant in the morning to have breakfast which is excellent! We were very well received, and what made our stay truly unique was the good humor, the exchanges and the 5-star service from Abdo!! Thanks to him and the whole team who always had a smile to share!

Bon voyage.
