My husband and I stayed over Christmas, for 8 nights, at Riad Viva. I am quite perplexed by these reviews as our experience was not like this. We arrived only to find that we were in a very small ground floor room - not the 'superior' room we were expecting. If you are on the ground floor it is incredibly...

We had a lovely four night stay in this beautiful Riad, 10 minutes walk from the main square in Marrakech. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible: nothing we requested or enquired about was too much trouble. The rooms were spotless and eloquently decorated. The roof...

A very charming place to stay. The rooms here are very comfortable and well kept. Beds are perfect for a good nights sleep. The terrace is lovely for sundowners in the evening and the staff are very warm and friendly here. We ordered dinner for our group on one evening and it was a very nice Moroccan feast, the tangines...

My husband and I stayed at Riad Viva for 4 nights. The riad is very cozy. The patio is beautiful and clear. The terrace has a nice view over the mamounia gardens and the kotoubia mosque. It is the perfect place to start the day with a complete and tasty breakfast (that changes everyday). The room (in our case the...

My husband and I booked this Riad as part of my 60th birthday celebrations as a stay in a Riad in Marrakech was on my "to do" list in retirement. We were attracted to the Viva because of its beautiful traditional interior and were not disappointed. We were met at the train station and efficiently taken to the Riad. On...

This riad was gorgeous! Tucked away behind the tall walls in Marrakech. We stayed in the Freesia room which was amazing, although it was on the ground floor so sometimes we could hear people and we had no outside windows. However, the hotel was very quiet at night. They offer pick ups from the airport, which I highly recommend because...

We cannot recommend the Riad Viva enough for a stay in Marrakech. We were collected promptly from the airport and taken straight to the Riad, which has a stunning interior with a beautiful fountain. On arrival we were served proper Moroccan mint tea and biscuits, and were made to feel very welcome by Rashid. Our room and bathroom were both...

After struggling to find the place, we arrived to this riad and even though we had a pre paid reservation, they gave our room to another guest and wanted to send us to another place, without giving any satisfactory explanation. The staff was not helpful with this situation. I don´t recommend this place at all.

Unfortunately, these guests arrived with an invalid reservation. We demonstrated the fault to the couple but they wouldn’t understand and accept their mistake. Even the reservation was not prepaid as they wrote, as everybody knows there exists no prepayment at HRS. We couldn’t help them because the Riad was fully booked and there was no room available. Finally we found...
