I am a travel writer who rarely gets to travel for pleasure with her husband, so I was careful to reserve and confirm a specific room in advance for my husband's 60th birthday (even though it meant spending 25 to 60% more than a typical Medina riad). When we arrived yesterday (after a punishing flight and 1-1/2 hours in Customs),...

Dear Fabfaith, Thank you very much for taking the time for a posting and sharing your personal impression with other tripadvisor mumbers. The Angsana Riads Collection consists of 6 real traditional riads. Five of them are situated in the heart of the medina of Marrakech and one at the Kasbah area. As our riads are individual, everybody who wishes to...

We were upgraded to a suite (no charge) by Angsana Riads. We loved everything about this riad. The bed was firm and comfortable, the room was furnished in a very traditional style and there were very thoughtful touches. The adapter for UK appliances was already there, bathrobes, slippers and a lovely oil burner! Breakfast was about a minute down the...

Good quiet place and tucked away from the very busy streets which is good. Very near to attractions and within 10-15min walk to the souks. Quiet rooftop for watching stars, nicely and tastefully decorated rooms and surroundings. Very responsive staff. I also got a mobile phone to contact staff whenever I need assistance for the duration of the trip which...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Angsana. We stayed at the Riad Tivaline which was one out of the 6 Riads in the Angsana collection and only steps away from the main Si Said Riad where the reception was and breakfast was served. We had a room on the main floor in the courtyard in front of a...

Dear Fiona924, thank you very much for your detailed comment. Other interested travellers will certainly find your point of view and explanations very helpful. We are delighted to see that you loved the amtmosphere of a "boutique hotel" with typical moroccan ambiance. In fact, all aour riads who dispose of 5 to 7 rooms, a lovely courtyard, living rooms and...

It is a small boutique hotel with lots of fine details both in the rooms and in the public areas. Very good breakfast! All staff members are very service-minded! But one has to be able to walk a bit because there is not possible to drive the whole way to the hotel and the stairs (no elevator) are narrow. There...

We arrived there, scared because of the horrible reviews on this website, and what was our surprise when we discovered it was SUPER! There is a fireplace in every room, which by the way is nice, cosy and perfectly spacious! The towels in the bathroom are dreamy, big, thick. Salah (day shift) and Jamal (night shift, sooooooooo nice) greeted us,...

I booked a suite at Angsana Riad Tiwaline in Marrakech and was looking forward to a high quality 5 star experience as advertised, particularly as the property is operated by the respected Banyan Tree group. The riad is actually quite small with restricted guest space outside of the room, however the library area was very nice and the architecture interesting....
