I stayed at this Riad for a few days with my family. I absolutely recommend it as the location is very central, the room is very comfortable, the common areas are very beautiful and well-kept. We particularly appreciated the internal courtyard and the terrace where there is also a small swimming pool (which they used extensively, given the heat). Everything was perfect. Among other things, very refined and elegant furnishings, impeccable and welcoming service, excellent cleanliness. We also appreciated the food, which was very good and plentiful (which can be useful when, as in our case, every now and then we needed to rest and have some extra comfort). I thank all the staff of the structure for the stay!!

You are welcomed by exceptional people of kindness, availability, kindness and manners. From daybreak to bedtime, smiles and tips accompany your days. This place with refined decoration is a haven of peace run by people who make you feel at home, with all the foresight of a family. It is an enchanted bubble in the heart of the Medina where you can enjoy delicious dishes and rest in an unexpected calm. Breakfast is hearty and homemade. If many visit sites can be done on foot from the riad, some ask you to leave the Medina, everything is then done in the greatest serenity because you are accompanied to the meeting place and validated with the excursionist the smooth running of the animation and return. There will no longer be any other place for us to stay in Marrakech. Abdou, Mohssine, Said, Samira and the girls of the team you made this short stay a dream 🙏

We had an amazing stay at the Riad Les Hirondelles. Our room and indeed, the entire place, is tastefully decorated in a style sympathetic to Moroccan culture, with a chic modern edge. We stayed in a split level room, with our bed on a mezzanine and it was beautiful. Comfortable and cool all day. Our room was turned down every day and it was lovely to return to a clean and respectfully attended space after the mania of the souks and medina. Breakfast is served in the courtyard each morning (but I’m sure if you request to take it on one of the many terraces, the staff would oblige) and it was delicious and bountiful! Cakes, breads, eggs, yoghurt, coffee, mint tea, freshly squeezed juice! Everyone who worked at the riad we found to be kind and attentive. They couldn’t be more helpful with recommendations and directions, our every request or question was met with a smile and a suggestion. Talking as if it were to a friend visiting their home. A request for mint tea one afternoon was met with an invitation into the kitchen to learn how it is made the Moroccan way. Standing and chatting around the stove was really very lovely. But they weren’t imposing, in fact the Riad is so calm and quiet, you could almost forget where you are, which is in the very heart of the Medina. The last day of our stay was the first day of Eid and the city was quiet, with many places closed. So we made the most of the facilities at the hotel. Soaking up the sun, cooling off in the plunge pool and dining on the terrace in the evening. The Riad has been tastefully and cleverly renovated to create many different spaces for guests to enjoy, little pockets of privacy with the use of different levels, planting and screens. You really do feel like you have the place to yourself!
I would really recommend asking the Riad to arrange your airport transfers. As unless you know the medina, having someone guide you to the door is really quite essential.
I can’t recommend this boutique hotel highly enough. We would love to return to Marrakesh just to enjoy their hospitality again!

We spent in the Riad 2 nights of our stay in Marrakech. The Riad is beautiful and the structure is well kept and looked after. The on site staff is welcoming and nice. Breakfast was beautiful and served in a lovely way. Unfortunately the 1st morning we woke up there was no water (not hot nor cold). I appreciate the staff said this was a problem affecting the entire city (which I don't know if it is true as in other places we went to visit there was) however it was extremely disappointing to see the riad had no plan B. For more than £140 per night I would expect to be able to at least brush our teeth and have a shower. I work in the hospitality industry as well, and if your guests cannot sleep or shower you should for the night being this the bare minimum. We managed to have a shower only after 2 nights in Marrakech which was a major inconvenience and yet the water was not clear. Cleanliness was disappointing regarding the table cloth, water glasses and cuttlery during our dinner and the glass bottle in the room could not be used as there were rusty signs on the internal part of the bottle cap. Unfortunately no sort of compensation for the major inconvenience experienced was offered.

Such a lovely place to stay in the Medina of Marrakech. The staff (Abdou and Mohsin) are incredibly friendly and helpful, always answering my questions and helping with recommendations and bookings. The food was so delicious, the location was great for those wanting to really experience the traditional, old town. The room was perfect for us, very quiet and cool. Highly recommend!

Already the first contacts were friendly, helpful and eager to make us feel confident about our stay and this behavior continued until the actual stay and our departure.
The room was perfect fitted for three adults traveling during the day and coming back to sleep in the evening. Everything was clean, tidy and fully functional; tastefully and pragmatically furnished at the same time.
Great rooftop terrace with a small pool to enjoy; tea and other drinks were served upon request to the also very tastefully decorated terrace
All in all, a little treasure that opened up behind the slightly hidden door. Always someone on site so you did not need a key but just ring a bell to get insight the riad.
We felt comfortable all around and would have been happy to return back here again from our 2nd Riad.
Marrakesh at its best

Excellent stay in this riad, nothing to complain about! It is charming, it is a little haven of peace where you like to find yourself in peace after a hectic day in the streets of Marrakech :) We loved this place, the staff are lovely, helpful and welcoming. Very quiet! We had a dinner where we asked for a typical, little-known dish that I love, rfissa, and we had a blast! Special mention for the breakfasts, also excellent, a change from the buffets served in hotels, here, served at the table, extremely complete, homemade and varied (different every morning!). We ate so well in the morning that at lunchtime we sometimes didn't need to go to a restaurant :D The riad is well located, just remember that taxis drop you off and pick you up 10 minutes walk from the riad, but you can ask for a trolley for luggage (remember to tip ^^). Not far from the souks, shops all around, restaurants as well, and on foot we visited the Koranic school, the photography museum, the Secret Garden as well as the Marrakech museum. We found taxis very easily for our other visits but honestly, for walkers who have a little time, on foot, many journeys are doable. In short, we will come back, and we recommend it with our eyes closed!!! Thank you to the entire establishment team!

We very highly recommend this hotel in Marrakech. In addition to being a beautiful Riad in the old city, the staff are unfailingly helpful and the service is outstanding. Our ten day family visit would not have been possible without the kind assistance and accommodations provided by Abdou and the whole team at Riad Les Hirondelles. The rooms off the courtyard are an excellent option for those with some mobility issues or those who have difficulty with stairs. The rooftop garden and courtyard are both wonderful places to relax and provide a quiet respite between excursions into the city and beyond.

A very warm welcome from the owner and the team, very tasteful rooms, a great breakfast (slight variation between the days) and a great location not far from the Ben Youssef Medersa. Overall, very good value for money and highly recommended. The rooms on the upper floor may be even brighter than the two lower ones we had

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Riad les Hirondelles. The place was very well kept and the staff was very pleasant and helped us with advice and booking of day trips to the desert and the Atlas mountains. Centrally located close to the labyrinth in the Medina.
