I was here on my own for work. This is a very nice riad with wonderful service and great food. The rooms are large, quiet and beautiful. The location is close to the Djemaa el Fnaa in the Souk area. The hotel manager Nordin is extremely kind and helpful as all of the staff. Overall good value for money.
This little piece of paradise is a hidden gem. From the minute we arrived in Marrakech, Nourdine’s welcome reception set the stage for a wonderful stay. This riad is beautifully appointed & elegant, without feeling stuffy. The morning breakfasts were delicious & the staff was fantastic. Nourdine provided restaurant suggestions, guides & help with transportation. Our stay at Riad Joya was a highlight of our 3 weeks in Morocco. Love it!,
One of our best trip ever. Exotic city and lovely weather, we had one of the most memorable experiences staying at the charming Riad Joya. Close the door of the Riad behind you and you are in an oasis of peace. We felt immersed in the local culture and enjoyed spending time with the team that makes the Riad so magic..... Khalid, Noureddine, Echerifa. Chef prepared amazing food for us, all traditional Moroccan dishes, having been other times in Marrakech, we did not want to leave the place. We will be back. Thank you Joya!
Road Joya was our first stop on our Moroccan tour. We were met at the airport by a driver and taken immediately to the entrance to the Médina where we were met by a porter who brought us and our luggage directly to the riad. Pay attention to signs and turns on your way in as it will help navigation later. Nor welcomed us with hot and sugary mint tea and showed us to our spacious and lovely room with an amazing rain shower and working fireplace. Nor greeted us anytime we walked out of our room or anytime we came back to the riad at night. Also, he personally guided us to many destinations in the confusing maze like Médina. The Hammam was absolutely incredible and totally a must do while staying here. Ive never felt so clean and relaxed in my life. We also did a cooking class with chef Ahmed. He took us on a shoppping trip into the souks and helped us pick out our lunch ingredients and also an array of spices to take home with us. The cooking was fun and hands on and another must do at Riad Joya. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Marrakech if you like personalized service, great food, and a true Moroccan experience.…
If you're looking for a friendly and authentic accommodation in the heart of the medina but somewhere which feels remote enough from the hustle and bustle of the marketplace, I can't recommend Riad Joya enough. Located just a few passage ways from the souks, the Joya is clean, rooms spacious and staff helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts set you up nicely for the challenges of the market stall holders (!) and be sure to book in an evening meal cooked by Ahmed - superb. Everything seemed not to be a problem and the location excellent.
