The location couldn't be better if you want to be near the square. There is a view from the terrace and there are souks and restaurants right next door. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel (Cecil II) for one night and found it to be a good value. The rooms have sinks in them but community toilets...

My brother and I stayed at Hotel Cecil for a total of 3 nights, and we were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the location, and the great breakfast every morning. The rooms were simple, but provided everything we needed. The best part of Hotel Cecil, however, is the centrality to Djemaa El Fna. The hotel's placement on...

Hotel Cecil's best thing is the great breakfast which sets up for the hectic day ahead. But all else is almost as good as the free breakfast. It is situated perfectly with a great staff who we managed to communicate with well, with our primary school french. It is quiet, safe, pretty clean, attractive inside and the showers were always...

Located very close to Djemaa El Fnaa, it is a big advantage to have a short escape once in a while from the hotel room. Taxi is abundant, you can also buy bus tickets from a phone shop nearby. The staff is very helpful, polite and friendly despite our language barrier (i can't speak french nor arabics). Free breakfast is...

Went to this hotel early december this year. The hotel is just about the corner of the big square, so great location. Room was nice, breakfast also and the staff was really friendly and helpfull. The hotel has a really nice roof terrace overlooking the square. Would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Marrakech.

Myself and a friend stopped here for our first night in Morocco, before setting off on a 10 day trip travelling around. It was easy to find, and the staff were very helpful. Rooms were basic, but had all we needed. The bathroom was a little pongy, but we opened the windows which soon remedied that, however, it was spotlessly...

The hotel has a good location and price. It is right in the main square, on the right side of the Cafe Grand Balcon Glacier. The room was ok, but the bathroom had problems with water leak, which kept the bathroom constantly wet. The breakfast was nice and filling and from rooftop you could view the main square. The staff...
