Just arrived home from an incredible visit to Marrakech, and particularly, Riad Magie D'orient. We arrived from the airport in a taxi, a 2 min walk from the Riad - greeted by one of the staff with an umbrella to walk us there. It seems a little intimidating at first, going through back streets to reach the Riad so I...

The Riad is very beautiful, fabulous in its proximity to the souk, main square, and main monuments, easily found (no mean feat in Marrakech where getting lost seems to be the rules!) It offers great value for the standard of accommodation, both in the rooms and the shared areas. The courtyard is tranquil, the lounge warm and cosy, whilst the...

Wow! Beautiful Riad. Lovely room - clean, comfortable and peaceful. Listening to the call to evening prayer whilst watching the sunset on the roof terrace was magical. The staff were great - very welcoming, couldn't do enough for you and good information for what to do and see in Marakech. Thoroughly recommend the Magie D'Orient

The Maggie d'Orient was a home away from home. We were made to feel welcomed straight away and were given useful information about getting around Marrakesh. The rooms were cleaned to an exceptionally high standard and the location was not far from the main square Jeema el fna, though far enough away to feel peaceful and tranquil. All the staff...

What a great place to stay!! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was a little cold so they provided extra blankets, heaters. We broke the shower so they fixed it immediately! The location is superb - 8 minutes from the square. Breakfast was OK - the bread was a bit stale sometimes, but fresh orange juice, coffee,...

Our stay in riad Magie d'Orient has been very good. Very pleasant and kind treatment of Jacques and Françoise even before of getting there. We had a very warm welcome. We really felt at home, they gave us a lot and very good recommendations about restaurants, hammam, tour around the city with a calesh, places to go and so on....

Marrakech was our very first stop in Morocco and Magie D'Orient was our first riad experience - we loved it. The staff was very welcoming and the owner even led us on a tour down to the Jamaa El Fna and showed us around (which was very much appreciated). The courtyard is super cute and I'm sure even better in...

First time in Marrakech and what experiences we had, from the drop off point outside Bab Laksour( the gate into the Medina) where we were thrown into the hustle and bustle of scooters, taxi's and hand carts going in every direction imaginable, we were ushered along to follow a Moroccan man as he hauled our luggage into a handcart and...

We stayed in a number of places in Morocco and Riad Magie DÓrient was the best! The staff, Khalid, Azia and Lobna went out of their way to assist us where needed and they share a wealth of stories and insight. No matter what we asked of them, nothing was a problem. Khalid made my birthday extra special by writing...

This riad is a little gem! Staff are lovely, friendly and so helpful. The room was clean and reasonably priced. As our first trip to Morocco, we were nervous of our surroundings, but the staff put us at ease, had a wealth of information and experience that made it great!
