Me and my husband came to marakesh for my birthday and I carefully selected this riad as it had so many good reviews. Corrine was great and she went over and beyond to help us with everything we needed. The riad was very quite as only a few couples were there when we arrived it was very private and cozy felt like home. Abdul and Idris were really nice and made sure our stay was comfortable. When we arrived at the Cocoon we were advised by Corrine to have our dinner at the riad as we arrived late and took her advise. She also arranged a private taxi to pick us up from the airport and take us to the riad, and Abdul came to recieve us when we got dropped off just a few yards away from the riad. That was really nice as felt very comfortable as first time there. You still need to get a taxi from the riad to were ever you are going as you can imagine the small lanes are very decieving.
Corinne had told us to download the maps to go app on my phone as you don't need to use WiFi, I found it hard to follow but you may not. WiFi was so good I used to call my family via what's app even from the top terrace. All staff members were so nice and friendly, spotless kept the riad very clean. We chose the purple room that was a nice size. Food was really nice and breakfast was good served with fresh orange juice every day. Definitely recommended to choose this place as I loved it. Thanks again for your hospitality we felt as if we were a part of your family.

We stayed at Riad Cocoon as a group fo 4 ladies and from the moment we set foot out of the taxi, Corinne, Abdul and Dries made sure that our stay was wonderful.
The Riad is comfortable and chic and the rooms are beautifully decorated. We were made welcome from the outset and Corinne and her staff made sure that we had the best advice for getting around Marrakech, showing us the rates to pay for taxis, where to change money, great places to eat and importantly how to navigate the Medina and Souks

Breakfast at the Riad is a treat each morning and dinner on arrival was superb. We had some treatments (Hammam and massage) and these were so relaxing

The Riad is just at the edge of the Medina making it a peaceful place to stay and easily accessible by taxi. It is close to the souks and the main sites of the old town

Corinne arranged a walking tour for us with a fantastic guide, she described him as a walking encyclopedia and she was right! The staff also arranged any transport that we needed and made sure we paid the right price for it

There is a lovely relaxed vibe at the Riad and the staff go out of their way to friendly and helpful and answered tons of questions we had about life in Marrakech and Morocco.

Marrakech is a vibrant city and a great spot for a long weekend. And Riad Cocoon is the perfect place to stay. Thanks Corinne and staff - you made our stay wonderful

I don't think i have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to express how fabulous my stay here was. From the first interaction with Corinne when booking i knew i was in very accomplished hands.
A driver was arranged to collect me from the airport and within 20 mins i was being greeted by Kenza and taken the few short mins walk through the colourful busy medina to the riad ...... you walk through the doors into an oasis of tranquil cool calm. This place is SPOTLESS ! and beautiful. Check out the bookshelves in the lounge. No request or question was a problem, suggestions for excursions and making dinner reservations. I chose the 'Green Eyes' room ( my favourite colour) the air-conditioning kept it at a perfect temperature. Take advantage of the fabulous Hammam treatments in house and on the first evening i chose to eat here too I was not disappointed.
Driss was an absolute star, calm, assured and super efficient, escorting me to an excursion collection point at 4.30am not once but twice during my stay and also makes a great G&T ! .
I had a plate of watermelon placed in front of me on particularly hot afternoon while i was taking advantage of the beautiful courtyard pool whilst reading my book. These small touches were constant throughout my stay. I was here for only 5 days but left ( reluctantly) feeling I'd been rested for 2 weeks.
A big thank you to Corinne and her Riad Cocoon team.
I cannot wait to come back.

We booked directly with the Riad and the moment our reservation was received we were contacted by Corinne, the owner. She planned our stay with the upmost care and attention to detail. By the time we arrived it felt as if were visiting a relative or a friend we known for a long time. Corinne and her small team made us feel like queen and king and organised everything. There was absolutely no detail Corinne did not think of. We loved our stay. The bedroom was exceptional so was the chef and our caretaker. We enjoyed a hammam with black soap that comes highly recommended. From the roof top you can see the roofline of the Riad and nestled very close to the main attractions.
Corinne planned our 4 days stay meticulously to ensure we find the attractions. I would recommend visiting the new town where visitor can find some amazing restaurants and shops.

Corinne and her staff were exceptional. From the moment of booking, we felt welcome. The staff ensured our comfort both inside and outside the Riad. Corinne arranged transport from the airport, greeted us with tea and snacks, and offered guidance for our entire stay in Marrakech. The Riad was peaceful and steps away from the Souk. (NOTE: when staying in the Medina, guests will hear a wake-up rooster and the call to prayer, but it's so cool to feel a part of the old city.) Given that we were two women traveling alone, staff took care that we could navigate the Souk and enjoy our time exploring the local sites.

I stayed in Riad Cocoon with a University friend (both 20 yrs old) and had a fantastic time. Would recommend for people of all ages.

It's a beautiful Riad with great staff who are happy to help with any of your needs. Corinne was particularly helpful with giving suggestions on what to do and see in Marrakech, alongside booking exceptional dinner reservations that were tailored to what we enjoyed/ felt like. Especially with just 5 rooms in the Riad, it felt like all the staff's advice was personal.

The Riad has a lovely rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy drinks or breakfast with a view of the city. Also great for relaxing and getting away from the noise and energy of the centre of the Medina (inc. massages, pool and hammam spa). G

The location is also perfect. You are immersed in the Medina and walk straight out into Marrakech's bustling streets, whilst also being a short taxi to the new city. Note: Riad Cocoon is about a 10/15 minute walk from the main square (Jemaa el Fnaa).

Overall, would recommend to anyone looking for a short or long holiday in a lovely Riad in Marrakech.

We had a fabulous time during our stay here. The riad is beautiful and very peaceful, very close to the place Jemaa el-Fna, heart of Marrakech. Corinne and her staff were so friendly and helpful. They warmly welcomed and pampered us like family members! They organised everything with the best advice for visits or shopping. Rooms are beautiful, lunches and dinners excellents, served on the rooftop or terrace and I enjoyed the best gluten-free breakfasts that I have ever eaten. Try the hammam and the massage, it was a so relaxing experience. We highly recommended this place for a magical trip in Marrakech.

Riad Cocoon is about 3-5 mins walking distance away from all the shops, restaurants and tourist museums and sights in the Medina; so very convenient for your visit to Marrakech.
Riad Cocoon offers airport transfers at €20 each way and I would recommend that you take up that offer as Holiday Taxis who lastminute.com used, were not reliable. Their driver did not even try to take us close to the riad: dumped us in a street 5 mins away and asked a complete stranger to walk us to it, who in turn demanded money for doing so.
The service is outstanding. Corinne, Otman, Gema, Mohamed and the chef were so helpful, supportive and full of advice. They all ensured that our stay was as comfortable and interesting as possible. To ensure that our airport return transfer was better than our arrival, they liaised directly with the company and the driver, so that we were on time for my flight home. Corinne had an information sheet ready for us with all tourist attractions and other advice and tips. All our taxi and restaurant bookings were made by the staff and we lucky to get rooftops tables, which was lovely.
The Riad is carefully and sensitively decorated in a Morrocan style. We had the Simple Red Room, but when I come again, I’d book a room with a window, as the only window was in the shower area. The main door to the room had frosted glass, which did let in some light however. For me, the twin beds were a bit too firm, but if this is to your liking, you’ll be fine.
Everyday the room was cleaned thoroughly and the communal areas were clean and welcoming. The roof top terrace was great and that’s where we ate breakfast, dinner and had cocktails. The towels and bathrobes were soft and fluffy.
The food was well prepared and very tasty. We were offered dinner on our first night, which was delicious and the breakfast was different everyday.
Our stay was good value for money, but next time I would contact the riad / Corinne directly and not through a booking agent.
We would recommend these restaurants: L’Mida, Le Jardin and La Terrassa des Epices: service and food were good.
Also, Le Jardin Majorelle, Yves St Laurent and Berber Museums are worth a visit, book online only. The secret garden in the middle of the Medina is so peaceful and a tour into the Atlas Mountains is a must.
Riad Cocoon is highly recommended.

Dear Julie, How could I be more grateful for your fabulous comment! You’ve got it right, when advising our guests to use our airport transfer service, we would like to make sure they get a smooth arrival with a very comfortable car driven by a qualified driver who knows exactly how to get them to 50m from Riad Cocoon. All the services you described so well, we like to offer from the moment you make your reservation until the end of your stay and beyond! That is possible for reservations made directly with our establishment via our website and e-mail or also via the online agencies who allow us to get in direct contact with our guests. ( not all of them do ) There's nothing like organizing a tailor-made stay in advance, so that your time in Marrakech is nothing but a pleasure! Julie, we are so happy to have contributed to make your time in Marrakech successful. On behalf of Riad Cocoon’s Team, thank you once again for all the attention and love you have generated by writing these lines. We sincerely look forward to your next visit. Warm regards, Corinne

We had an exceptional nice stay in this beautiful and very tidy, clean riad.
The staff is very kind and always supporting you planning activities by giving recommendations and arranging transport or restaurant reservations.
They also arranged a very nice and individual day tour into the Atlas mountains, incl. a Berber market visit and a cooking class at a beautiful Berber home. We can only recommend this tour.
The Hammam and massage at our first day were very relaxing.

Breakfast and dinner meal are delicious and were always fresh and in a very good quality. They even arranged glutenfree breakfast products for my wife as she has a coeliac disease. They also have local wines and of course serve the famous Moroccan tea.
We definitely had a perfect time and will come back again soon.
Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Absolutely excellent riad! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, here. We enjoyed a Hammam treatment and a massage on-site…both were expertly delivered and left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Corinne is a wonderful hostess who looked after us brilliantly. She gave us great recommendations for everything from restaurants, trips to taxis. She has a fantastic little visitors’ guide that points out how to avoid common pitfalls for tourists.
The riad itself was spotless and so welcoming; it felt like coming home every night. The food was lovely and freshly cooked on the premises to suit our timings.
Special mention must be made of the staff who couldn’t do enough for the guests. Rhis in particular went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay and talked to us a lot about the area and the history.
We cannot recommend this riad highly enough! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else should we revisit Marrakech.
Thank you, Corinne, Rhis and all the staff.

In winter the pool is heated on demand, but to be honest with you, our guests are more keen to use it during the hot summer days. At Cocoon, we also have a traditional steam bath and our Beautician is here every day for the spa treatments. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me by email. Please visit our website. Unfortunately Riad Cocoon does not have facilities for mobility issues - however it may be worth contacting them to see if you could have dinner one night as they have a downstairs area for food - the chef’s food is utterly divine and I had the best Moroccan cuisine I’ve ever tasted in this Riad. And I’ve been to Marrakech quite a few times!
