The Riad is on a main street but you don’t hear any of it inside the riad. We arrived pretty early and our room wasn’t ready yet so they sent us to the rooftop where they gave us some complementary tea to welcome us. The room we had was on the first floor. spacious with a/c in the room which was very important to us. The bathroom was somewhat clean just old. But it was nicely arranged. They have a small pool on the rooftop which was enough for us just to cool off. The breakfast area is at the rooftop too. Breakfast was meager and could’ve been better. But it was enough to get by til lunch. The spa downstairs was quite nice. I had a Hammam which was good. The Riad is situated near El badi palace and just 8 mins walk to Jemaa el fna sqaure and the souks (markets). Plenty of restaurants around the Riad. Even though there are plenty of other Riads all around i would probably stay here again. Price was quite reasonable too. …
We were booked into Riad Bahia Salam for 3 nights but upon showing up, we were told the guest who was staying in the room was too hungover to leave. I appreciate guests get sick and it can be hard to rearrange guests but they had all day to tell us. We messaged around 3pm we would be arriving around 6pm. The normal checkout is 11am/noon - the riad would've known the guest was not going to check out by this time but never bothered to tell us until we got there. We were moved to a nearby Riad with our toddler and two children and stay in two separate rooms over two floors. It was not the most child friendly place but it was fine for the night. Upon returning the next day to Riad Bahia Salam - we were told the room was still not ready. That was 2:30pm - we were told it would be ready for noon so we made sure to come late and they still disappointed us. We were provided with room 114 - just under the restaurant kitchen so the staff were up and scrapping the floors, chatting and moving around from 6:30am. Not only were the administration of the riad not professional, we were than "awarded" with the loudest room in the house. We were give two free meals (in which we were charged drinks) and free massages. My husband booked an 30 min massage and I booked in an hour and hair waxing. Needless to say, we did not return the second night for anymore complimentary services. Had the management managed the room situation better, I would still not come here again. Pros: Restaurant, restaurant staff and food, clean rooms, nice riad Cons: there are better located riads not along the main road, stay away from room 114, staff weren't all that friendly and stay away from the "spa." You get much more professional services by paying similar prices.…
Greeted right away, after checkin and taken to our room. Flower petals and candies for the kids very very clean and friendly. On the rooftop was a small pool unheated but the kids loved it even at the end of December. Very friendly staff and very clean. Was accomodating with extra beds for our family and close to the medina. Would love to stay again.
Excellent spa treatment.Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was quite poor with not many options to taste.Riad is closed to Jemal El Fna ,10 minutes walking.if you travel with your car there is a parking across the road and it costs 35 DIrham per day.
Spent three enjoyable nights in Bahia Salam and found their location ideal in that it is very convenient to many of the key sights in the medina but in an area which is quiet at night. The rooms all face into the center courtyard and as such provide no natural light, however this makes them quiet and there is decent electrical lighting. While we found the bed comfortable some may feel the mattress to be too firm. There was good hanging space, a cold mini refrigerator, powerful hair dryer Nd good water pressure. We found room and common areas to be very clean. Breakfast is served in the rooftop dining area which could be a problem if you are unable to climb several flights of stairs. Since they do not have a license you are free to bring your own wine or beer to enjoy on the rooftop patio. …
