Travelers' Choice
A few steps from Jemaâ El Fna Place, the Royal Mansour Marrakech is set within the walls of Marrakesh old city. The hotel was born out of a vision to create a spectacular masterpiece exceeding the demands of today’s discerning traveler, while reflecting the true essence of Moroccan tradition. There are no suites or rooms at Royal Mansour. Upon their arrival, guests are escorted through the Medina and gardens to their private residence, a traditional Moroccan Riad. This is the only hotel in the world offering that unique concept. There are a total of 53 Riads of 1 to 4 rooms, all with private courtyards, fountains, and plunge pools, dining rooms and hammams in the larger ones. Each Riad is uniquely decorated and lavishly appointed in honour of Moroccan authenticity. The Royal Mansour Marrakech covers 5 hectares and has 3 restaurants, 3 bars, gardens, a pool and a kids' club. Divided over 3 floors, the Spa of 2500 sqm offers an infinite range of exceptional treatments.

More the Excellent truly THE BEST Place to be. Treated like a Royalty.
It is truly THE BEST Hotel I have stayed so far in my travels to over 40 Countries. Its a true Gem of Morocco & its an experience by itself. Very nice & helpful Staff. Perfect location with in minutes by car to most Marrakech Attractions. Food is good. Riads are Beautiful, & Private like your own House. Very tastefully decorated & furnished. Do keep in mind they are 2-3 storied & not all have elevator. Some have Plunge Pool on top floor & very nice sitting area. Breakfast was included & was Excellent with wide choice of Menu to choose from. Its Priced as Luxury so if you can afford then this should be your choice , no 2nd thoughts.

One of the best hotels in the world
The hotel is magnificent! Every detail handcrafted (almost 80% was made by hand) was jaw-dropping. The room which is actually a riad, has 3 floors so you have a private living room plus powder room in one floor, the room plus bathroom in another and finally your private terrace with a heated pool. The staff was so kind and helpful in every possible aspect. The spa is a chapter by itself, even if you don’t want to experience the tradicional hamman you must get a massage and enjoy the beautiful architecture. Take at least one day of your stay to spend by the pool, either the outdoor or the indoor, the environment is perfect to relax, enjoy the nice weather and have a perfect lunch at Le Jardin (the sushi was delicious). For dinner you have 3 options so you better book at least 3 nights, moroccan, italian and french/international cuisine. We booked the moroccan and italian and it was delightful. I swear I tried to find any failure but it was impossible.

    Perfect trip
This was our second visit to the Royal Mansour. We had planned to come back in 2020 but everything shut down because of covid. We decided to go back to celebrate my birthday . The hotel and grounds are exquisite and beautifully maintained Even the “smallest” accommodation is a three story riad with every comfort that you can imagine. It looks like what you see in a palace or a museum Every detail is perfect the tiles, the ceiling, the furniture. The complimentary sweets, fruit, wine and flowers waiting for us in the room were lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the pillow menu has an wide selection. The tub was huge and shower was invigorating. The toiletries were of the highest quality and were replaced during the twice daily room cleaning. The breakfast was delicious - everything is brought to your table you are not going to a buffet picked over by other guests. The bread and pastry basket, fresh squeezed juice and delicious coffee all wonderful. Lunch and dinner was also well prepared, delicious and reasonably priced for the setting. The gym is well equipped, spotless and towels water fruit and everything else you need for a great workout are provided. Both the indoor and outdoor pools sparkled and were at the perfect temperature. But what really sets the Royal Mansour apart is the staff and the service that they provide. On arrival our riad wasn’t ready and we were offered a lovely complimentary lunch. We had a few minor flaws but they were handled by M. Ayoub who resolved everything ! I mentioned my birthday and the waiters sang happy birthday at breakfast with a delicious cake. Champagne at dinner What a treat! M.Ayoub and Audrey the concierge were both incredibly kind and efficient and really made our visit perfect. In fact every single person we came into contact with was friendly, warm, caring, concerned, helpful and provided outstanding service. It was really the best birthday ever. Icing on the cake was when we had to catch our flight at 5 am and we were presented with a beautifully wrapped care package for breakfast as we got into the Bentley for the short ride to the airport. Our driver contacted the fast track guide at the airport. Absolutely the best departure from a hotel EVER! Thank you M. Ayoub and everyone at the Royal Mansour for an absolutely perfect stay. We will never forget it and can’t wait to go back!
Dear Ret, Thank you for choosing Royal Mansour for your recent stay and for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback with us. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your second visit to our hotel and that we were able to make your birthday celebration a truly memorable one. We are delighted that you found our accommodation to be comfortable and luxurious, and that our staff provided exceptional service throughout your stay. It is truly gratifying to hear that M. Ayoub and Audrey provided efficient and kind service, and that they helped make your stay with us so special. We will be sure to pass along your compliments to them and the rest of our staff. Thank you again for choosing Royal Mansour and for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back for another unforgettable stay in the near future. Warm regards.

Royal Mansour is probably the best if not one of the best hotels I have visited in the world. Definitely the best in Marrakech, I also stayed at Mamounia. Starting from the service, all the hotel staff have unparalleled preparation, speed, efficiency and kindness. The food is divine. We tried the Grand Table Marocaine restaurant twice and it was definitely the best Moroccan food experience in Morocco. The concierge is amazing to make your every wish come true. I especially wanted to thank from the bottom of my heart FATIMA ZOHRA AFRYAD for taking care of every detail and need related to my experience and excursions. Thanks to her my travel plan was perfect in every single detail! We felt pampered until the end when we were taken on the fast track to boarding at the airport without wasting time. Furthermore, the entire staff was absolutely formidable on the night of the earthquake on Friday in solving our every need and calming our anxieties and fears, giving us security and sweetness with their words and actions. Five stars for this rating are too few, we need 100, believe me! D.Solimini

We popped in for afternoon tea and were blown away by the place… the hotel itself us absolutely stunning but what makes it even more incredible is the staff… we were waited upon like royalty whilst enjoying the indulgent afternoon tea.. every cake/scone/tea was made to perfection.. well worth the cost…would definitely recommend the afternoon tea makes the London Ritz tea service look like a local cafe…

I don’t know where to begin, other than to say that everything was absolutely incredible! First, the design of the hotel is stunning, and a masterpiece created by the king to share about the historical beauty of Morocco. The service staff have been trained to provide Royal service. Our butler, Fathallah, was absolutely perfect and coordinated every request we had. I have previously stayed at Amanjena, and would highly recommend this hotel over Amanjena. Quite frankly, there is no comparison. This hotel beats Amanjena in all categories!

We stayed in a beautiful riad for one week. It was stunning, every little detail was perfect. Lots of seating areas, inside and out. You do need to be ok with stairs otherwise ask for a riad with an elevator. The roof terrace area with plunge pool was just wow, it does however get very hot up there, flip flops a must! The pillow menu was fantastic and we managed to try most of them and had the perfect nights sleep. Our stay was made all the more perfect by the staff, all of whom where wonderful people who could not do enough. Every encounter was a pleasure. The food was fantastic throughout. The wine choice especially the local wine was excellent. The spa is a very calming space and treatments where good. The gym is a good size with excellent equipment. The pool pavilions are a wonderful experience, which we booked twice. The hotel cars and drivers are fantastic, we had the Bentley collect us from the airport, lovely experience. Already planning to go back and cannot wait, best hotel experience to date, total luxury.

The Royal Mansour Marrakech has clearly established itself as one of the premier hotels in the world and it is without hesitation that I would highly recommend it even to the world's most discerning travelers. Morocco itself is of course a world-class destination in its own right with a rich diversity of destinations and accommodations across the full gamut of price ranges. It is definitely difficult to decide where to stay. While the Royal Mansour certainly represents the highest end of luxury, we also found it to be the most unique and culturally authentic hotel we have ever stayed with an unparalleled level of service and personalized care. The location was perfect, just outside the Medina, the grounds were beautiful and lush with 53 individually unique Riads spread across the property. We booked the "Superior Riad" which was absolutely magnificent - 3 levels with refined, authentic Moroccan furnishings throughout including a private rooftop deck and pool (and this represented their lowest priced accommodation). We can't even imagine what the other Riads were like. As far as service, I wanted to specifically call out our concierge, Fatima, who not only helped us with local bookings during our stay, but she also helped setup our entire itinerary for *after* our hotel departure. This included helping us cancel reservations after my wife and I unexpectedly had to return home early due to a medical emergency. Note: she even followed up after we returned home to see how my wife was doing. Thank you again, Fatima! One other note: For those debating between staying here vs La Mamounia, while we didn't sleep at La Mamounia, we did spend time at the hotel's restaurants and spa. And while we would certainly agree it too is an absolutely beautiful property, we personally preferred the Royal Mansour which felt significantly more intimate and authentic. If you are coming to Morocco and want to splurge on an unforgettable experience, you will never regret or forget your time at the Royal Mansour!

I absolutely love this hotel and have stayed there twice over the years. It is an absolutely stunning property that stays true to the Moroccan style and its location is fabulous. They have somehow created a quiet, luxurious garden oasis that’s within steps of the souks. The food and service throughout the hotel are exemplary. Our butler, Kareem, went above and beyond to be helpful. The only negative is that on both of my visits to this hotel, I have had multiple extremely negative dealings with the concierges. On my first trip prior to arrival, I asked for them to arrange a helicopter trip over the Atlas Mountains. At the time, this trip was listed as an optional activity on the hotel’s website, so I wasn’t making an unusual request. At check in, I discovered that the helicopter had not been booked. I requested it again and had to continue to do so daily during our stay until it was finally arranged for our last day in Marrakech. For my second trip to the Royal Mansour, I again made very detailed requests for activities (guide for two days in the souks, visit arranged for the MACAAL sculpture garden with car transport, car with driver for one day to explore additional shops etc) a month prior to arrival. At check in, I discovered that concierge had created a random itinerary that had nothing to do with what I had requested. In fact, most items that I had asked for were missing. She then was pushy about me canceling activities that I had never requested. Had I and our hotel butler, Kareem, not stood up to her, I would have been charged for activities I had not asked for. There continued to be multiple more issues with the concierges during my stay (failure to be be picked up by car as previously arranged etc etc) and I was never able to visit the sculpture garden at the MACAAL because there was no availability. By all means, stay at the Royal Mansour just be aware that you cannot trust the concierges to make plans for you. Given the high cost of the hotel and that it is a 5 star establishment, the concierge situation needs to be addressed. My review would have been 5 star had I not experienced multiple very negative dealings with multiple concierges.

We were here yesterday for afternoon tea and it was excellent! We splurged for the afternoon tea with champagne and it genuinely was so fabulous that as much as I enjoyed tea at the ritz in London, this felt much more special! It was also lovely not to be dress coded, my husband wore smart shorts and a shirt , me a dress and he had no issues with needing a jacket like in similar establishments in London. The tea itself was perfection from start to finish. Our waiter Imad achehboune we so friendly and professional it really was a joy to have him look after us for the afternoon. His English is perfect and it was lovely getting to know him and he gave us some fabulous recommendations of things to do and see whilst here. It was lovely learning about the pouring of the tea from him and he also most importantly of all knew when to take leave and there was never and awkwardness. He was very attentive and my tea cup never ran dry! Thanks Imad you are a star! ⭐️🌟 The afternoon tea itself was divine, as I have a salmon allergy the salmon was swapped out for a chicken one and this was a particular highlight for me as it was a taste sensation and should be a part of the regular offering! The beef sandwiches were gorgeous too, for me I am not really into cheese or egg mayonnaise but we ate them and they were fine. If I was to nitpick I would say that the afternoon tea could have done with a bit more of a savoury element as it was very heavy on the sweet (at the ritz you could have as many sandwiches as you want, I think we had about 30, whereas the sandwich offering here was 4 small but delicious rolls) but everything in Morocco seems to be sweet! Including the tea unless you ask for it without sugar. The cakes were wonderful, I struggled a bit as I don’t really like cream or cheese cakey stuff. But the chocolate banana cake and the Brownie cake were some of the best I have eaten! I even enjoyed the scone (which typically I give to my husband) but these with their delectable apricot jam were a revelation. In short if afternoon tea is your thing, 100% come to mansour to try their offering you won’t regret it there are 3 levels so one to suit all appetites and budget! Thanks mansour for a wonderful afternoon

I went to the Royal Mansour for a pool day, and everything about the experience was fantastic. Every single person who helped us was so kind, the pool was gorgeous, and the food was absolutely amazing. Seriously, the fish was the best-cooked piece of fish I have eaten in my life. The lunch was huge! Huge! The started alone would have been enough. We had our dessert brought out to the pool about an hour or so later because we were so stuffed. The vibe was just so pleasant, and the staff took such great care of us. Every time we were low on water or the ice was melting, more would appear. I expected the place to seem a bit snobby, given the cost of a night there, but that wasn’t the case at all. Day guests were treated the same as hotel guests in every way. We weren’t able to book a cabana, but I’d definitely recommend it if one is available. If not, no worries, there’s a lovely locker room with a shower and everything you need (toiletries, hair dryer, etc.). Such a great way to spend a day! I totally recommend it! I’ll definitely go back when I return!
