Dar Nour El Houda is a chic boutique Riad in the heart of the Madina of Marrakech. It is the former home of French contemporary artist Patrick Carpentier and is now owned by a group of British friends who fell in love with the place. The Riad is interior decorated to a high standard in cream and white. It enjoys an open courtyard with a large Olive tree and a plunge pool as well as a terrace with views to the Katoubia and the Atlas Mountains. Each of the four en-suite bedrooms have their own unique character and the entire property is decorated with Patrick's beautiful artworks. The Riad is located in the centre of the Madina, close to star attractions such as Ben Youssef Mosque and Madresa (5 mins walk), the Marrakech Museum (5 mins walk) and the Photography Museum (4 mins walk). Jemaa-El-Fna is an approximate 12-15 minute walk away and a map is provided to guide you. Taxis from the airport stop at Place Moukef (Kaat Benahid), a 4 minute walk away. Famous restaurants such as Le Fondouk, Dar Tazi and Restaurant Naima are all approximately 5 minutes walk away, but in our opinion the best meal is served within Dar Nour El Houda itself with a fantastic 3-course meal cooked by one of your hosts, Sara. Together with our Manager, Noureddine, you will be treated to attentive service where every guest is looked after with the utmost care.

Visiting just before lockdown in March. Absolutely loved this place, one of the highlights of our Morocco trip (came after few days in Agadir). We will never forget the wonderful staff, beautiful room and roof terrace, most delicious breakfast that was laid out looking wonderful like a mini feast. Location is great for walking through the Medina. Could not ask for more and we've told friends and family to choose this boutique guesthouse when they visit. Good memories ❤️ look forward to our return. Best wishes to the team from T and S.

Stayed at the riad just before lockdown (which has only made my memories of the experience all the more special). Absolutely beautiful place and Nouradin was a great and helpful guide/host. Can't wait to visit again.

The car that arrived at the airport sent by the riad was quality with a nice driver (free as I booked direct). A man with a blue trolley walked us to the riad door. I entered at night and the riad looked beautiful, lit up with floor lights and wall lights. My stay thereafter was excellent. The staff were just excellent. Breakfast and dinner was presented beautifully and was very tasty. I shared the Salam Room with my brother. This was spacious, clean, and decorated very nicely. This riad was my favourite thing about Marrakech. The roof terrace is great to have drinks and mint tea. I loved my stay. Thank you to all that Dar Nour El Houda family ... Noureddine, Sara and Mohamed. Everything was great about my stay

During our stay at the Riad our hosts were unbelievably accommodating. We could not have felt more comfortable/at home, whilst also having incredible service. The Riad is beautiful, we delighted in our breakfasts and evening meal on the terrace. I would recommend the Riad to anyone coming to Marrakech as it was the core of our wonderful time here.
