The Riad is beautiful with many intricate hand crafted doors, mosaics etc. and is based incredibly centrally in the old Medina part of Marrakech. The place, itself, is serenely quiet (apart from at call to prayer times, when everywhere in the Medina gets blasted with a megaphone). The owner is lovely, kind, and will speak French as clearly and simply... More

Booked a last minute trip to Marrakech and found this Riad online. We were not disappointed. If you want to be in the middle of all the action whilst still being able to enjoy some peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Down several dusty alleys through the market and into an unmarked huge wooden door and... More

"Riad Radia has been in the owner's family for approx. 130yrs. It has been renovated and remodeled recently with the addition of modern amenities. Mademoiselle Rajaa is the very able and caring manager of the property. This riad has also been recommended by Trip Advisor. We got there on the 31st of Dec. around 5:00pm we called the riad and... Had a lovely time here and would strongly recommend it. A lovely, quiet place to stay away from the bustle of the souk, but right in the thick of things! The couple running the place could not have been more helpful and welcoming. We took the advise of a previous reviewer and emailed them in advance to book a taxi... More

A very nice location, only a few minutes walk from Djemaa El Fna square and the covered markets. But still far enough from the major roads to be a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle. We arrived in the evening and thankfully had pre-booked transfers through the Riad. A taxi to the edge of the square and then a... More

Riad Radia.T.R. at top of main square...about 75 yeards away ! Our first trip to Marrakech and our Riad ( B&B ) did not disapoint. We requested a hotel organised Taxi to pick us up and return us to the airport which we would recommend to all travellers at about 20 euros each way. One of the riads girls met... More

We arranged our airport transfer through the Riad before arriving (20E each way) which was well worth it as we were met in Djemaa El Fna as the taxi couldn't go any further - it really would be a struggle to find it on your own the first time! Cath130s directions below are great and we wrote these down before... More

It is incredibly difficult to find first time. Leave main square in top right hand corner just after cafe de france. It looks like you are heading down a back street with a covered route, but don't worry it is the right way and it is safe, (if you are good at dodging mopeds!). Walk straight on for about 5... More

we arrived delayed - around midnight. with pedestrianised streets all around - we had a good 10 - 15 minute walk (IF we knew where we were going, which we didn't). Hidden down a backstreet off a backstreet off a backstreet - though only 5 minutes walk from the big square. they could have left the outside lights on -... More

The Riad Radia is a fantastic haven of peace and quiet in the middle of the hustle & bustle of Marrakech. The one woman staff looked after us very well by cooking great breakfasts (served on the roof terrace if you like), cleaning the room and making mint tea whenever we wanted. We even took the offer of dinner one... More
