The Riad is wonderful and the stuff were very friendly. We liked the quitness of riad and its lovely smell after walking in the chaotic streets of Marrakech. We have been there with our children of 6 and 9 years old who loved the small poll in the patio. Breakfasts are excellent with coffee, muffins and fresh orange jiuce. We... More

Wow what a fantastic time we had staying here. We were a group of 11 girls who took over the Riad for a long weekend to see the sights, relax, and shop! All our needs were taken care by the lovely Ahmed and his staff - from arranging taxis, tour guide, to getting us more drink supplies - nothing was... More

If you are thinking of sampling the Riad experience in the heart of Marrakech then this is the place.Like an oasis in the hubbub that is Marrakech this is a good place to lay your head-a cool, calm and tranquil place to stay, within walking distance of the sights and sounds of the main square.Nothing is to much trouble for Ahmed and... We have just got back from Morocco. We stayed here for our first two nights. The riad is a great little find. It is clean, tidy and very quiet place. It is well situated to get to the main square, just a 10 min straight walk to get there which makes getting back stress free and easy. The staff were... More

The Riad Karmanda is exactly as described by other reviewers. It really is an oasis of peace and quiet in what is otherwise a hectic and buzzing area of the old Medina. Staff excellent and a hamman to die for (according to my wife and daughter anyway). Just two downpoints to consider though. The first was my daughters room (Berbere)... More

I have been to Marrakesh 18 times over the past 10 years and I have stayed in a mixture of places from Hotels-appartments-with friends to Riads. I stayed at the Karmanda as I was with a friend who had never been to Marrakesh before and I wanted her to experience a Riad. I selected the Karmada because of the other... More

Ahmed and Mina and all the other staff are so friendly and helpful. They will try their best to help you with any questions or requests you may have. They even... More

This small riad is an oasis in The Medina. Friendly and knowledgable staff that made us feel right at home in an stylish and comfortable riad. Try the in-house hammam, It's unbelivable !! We were spoilt with freshly baked pastries and Morrocan pancakes at breakfast everyday, rooms are spacious and cosy, and the terrace is a great place to enjoy... More
