The relaxation spa is a delight for the traveler. All of the staff are full of joy as you immerse in the hammam, and they scrub away your worries and the grime of traveling. Giggles of delight arise as you are cleansed. Followed by a soothing argan oil massage, I am a new version of myself, ready to head to my next destination. The comfy beds, spacious rooms and tasty breakfast make this an excellent way station for your time in the bustling city of Marrakech.

Hammam from Meena (sorry if spelt wrong!) was amazing, and she was so welcoming and very friendly. We then had a full body massage which was beautiful, and all the products used smelt heavenly. Thank you so much! If you’re in Marrakesh you must come here for your treatments, 10/10 💖x

You will be extremely comfortable in this hotel with new beds, crisp white sheets, air con, lovely bathroom, nice pool area and a quaint bar. Staff go above and beyond especially Kawtar and Abdu who work at the desk, management, cleaning and restaurant staff are probably some of the best I’ve ever encountered- nothing was too much trouble (esp considering my bad French). There’s no hint of a Moroccan them though which is unfortunate. There’s a bit of a black, white and brass “Hollywood cafe look “ happening including photos of film stars. Sadly the place is showing signs of wear even though it was recently renovated. I feel sorry for the owners as they must have spent considerable money on shoddy renovations like wooden panels in the bathroom that are ( obviously) starting to rot. Likewise the floating boards in the wet areas- they are not designed to get wet that’s why they are buckling, the black painted walls are scuffed and so on. Still, given the price point in this area, you won’t find anywhere better and this is good value. This hotel deals with small tour groups which is a good sign as it means they are trustworthy. Walking distance to a large luxurious supermarket and restaurants. This is Gueliz though so expect dilapidated abandoned buildings amidst all the glitz. Tip :check out the stairs - they are the original travertine stone and reveal the superb craftsmanship that existed before some young entrepreneur decided to gut the place and make it look modern on a budget.

Booked a junior suite. Was sizey and very comfortable but it could have been freshened up with a quick lick of paint. Lovely huge shower. Massive and very comfortable bed and fresh linen given daily. Had mini bar but didn’t use it. Disappointed no free water bottles offered except x2 small bottles on day 1 of stay. Mini safe in cupboard was not secured to wall. Hence a security breach. Reception staff all very helpful and friendly - kawtar, Lamia and Abdul. Housekeeping lady very thorough and courteous. Breakfast was scrumptious with a wide spread for all palates. Particular mention to Hadija , Hicham and Muad. Gave Service with a smile and all kind , helpful and so friendly and made great omelettes. Had a lovely massage in hotel so thank you Samira and Hanam/ Mina. Hotel is central to shops/ restaurants in Guilez and 15- 20 minutes to various main sites. Do visit Ben Youssef Madrasa, Palais Bahia, Dar Si Said , main square and go on a desert camel ride and on a hot air balloon ride, day trip to Ouzoud waterfalls etc We found we had to haggle for shopping in souks and taxi fares too. Used Saeef taxi driver as he was fair and reliable. Found him on day 2. His number , which he’s happy for us to publicise is + 212 606 114 051 We used him to get out and about and back home to airport. We would WhatsApp him with some notice and use him when required. Enjoy your stay!!

Wow! Where to start? From the minute we arrived we were greeted with kindness and professionalism. Took down stairs and had water and sweets waiting for us. The lady from reception then explained all treatments we were going to receive and then took us in for our treatments. This was my first experience having a hammam, and I can say for sure; that I will definitely be returning. All treatments were amazing. I felt so relaxed and at ease the whole time. A massive thank you to the talented ladies who work here. If you’re thinking of coming to this Spa, what are you waiting for? Thank you Bab hotel for a wonderful ending to our trip!

I stayed at the Bab Hotel in October for a few nights. Overall, my stay was pretty good, not great. The room was spacious and comfortable enough, with a very large bathroom. The hotel was relatively clean and well-located. Staff were very polite and warm. The breakfast, included in the price, was disappointing and below expectation. Options were limited and the actual dining experience wasn't the best.

My partner and I had the most wonderful time at this hotel, everyone was so very friendly and treated us both so kindly. The breakfast was sensational, the staff was so very helpful. The best part was the Spa, Rashida and her wonderful team made this the top experience for us at Marrakesh. It was the most phenomenal experience, it was world class from the facilities to the products. 10/10 the physical and mental benefits are most wonderful, the staff are the ones who really need the most respect as they were incredible. Thank you so much from London, Tas and Chin. Bisous!x
