It's a good place to stay for a few nights, not so close to the main market as they say tho. Some of the stuff was really friendly, but not everyone. They forgot to pick up one of my friends from the airport. Really cheap!

I went to Marrakech last week and decided to stay for 5 night at this hotel. It is really cheap but the best part of it is the great location. The hotel is located near the border between old and new city, so if you think you lost, just follow the border and voila there is the hotel. And also,...

The interior is beautiful, I really like the style and the central courtyard. It's really cheap, thought it was great value. Rooms are a little small, and noise from the courtyard is very audible. Don't bother with the breakfast there, take a short walk to one of many places that are better value for food. The tours they offer via...

I stayed only one night on my arrival in Morocco, but I hope to return when I come back to Marrakech. The people are what makes this place special. All the family make an effort to welcome you into their home and the communal dining/sitting area is a comfortable space to talk with fellow guests. I stayed in a 4...

I have visited Marrakesh 7 times and have stayed at riad massin 5 times. The reason why I always come back here is because the staff are wonderful people. Brahim is a very sweet, kind and genuinely friendly person. Khadija is like family and this will always be my Moroccan home. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean....

It's definitely a bad experience in Riad Massin. Firstly, the toilet smells of sewage, but it's still not a big deal because the toilet is rather clean. Secondly, I found quite a number of bed bugs on my first night of stay. I told the employee about it but somehow he seemed skeptical and went to check. As bed bugs...

The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was in a good location. There was good air conditioning in our room and the beds were nice and comfy - will definitely stay there if I ever go back to Marrakech!

A beautiful hostel with great service! We showed up early in the morning (too early to check in!) and were offered breakfast while we waited for our rooms. The breakfast was delicious and only 25 dirhams a morning. Our sheets and bathroom were both clean. The staff were very helpful and answered any questions we had. The hostel is in...

A great little place not too far from the city centre, near the local market. The rooms were clean, although a bit cold (but we were there in february, so I expected this) and staff was very friendly. Based on some of the reviews I was originally a bit worried as we were staying in the second building, not in...

As it was so cheap we were not holding our expectations very high at all - but as soon as we arrived at the beautiful building, full of so much character and friendliness we were so happy we had chosen to stay here. we were in the building next door from the main block but it was just as beautiful!...

“If you can get a room in the main building, that would be most convenient for you, as we stayed next door and needed staff to let us in both buildings each time. It wasn't terrible, as someone was always available and willing, but it was still kind of a pain.”

“Massin 2 only a few meters around the corner is quieter due to not having a social area of its own, whilst you are still able to access the main building freely.”
 of 5 bubbles Alistair_B_UK, Jan 5, 2014 | Read review
“If you are a light sleeper, ask the guys to place you in the second quieter house (right next to the main one). Riads are houses deigned to have rooms surrounding a patio. Sound resonates no matter how quiet ppl try to be. The main house has the reception and internet and it's where guests hang out. The second is dead quiet if you like it that way.”
of 5 bubbles Sabawy, Oct 6, 2013 | Read review
“The rooms that you are offered vary widely. Riad Massin catered to solo travellers very well with 4 and 6 bed bunk rooms but also had several rooms for couples. I prefered the rooms next door which is managed by the same people in Riad Massin II but if you want to be more sociable then Massin I is the way to go.”

“Probably noisier in the riad than the house next door.”
