This riad was the perfect way to start our trip to Morocco. Mohammed was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our trip. He not only set us up with guides in Marrakech, but also helped us arrange tours and contacts in a number of different cities. The riad itself was gorgeous, especially the rooftop terrace! We could not have asked...

Riad Le Coq Fou was our first stay during our 2 week Morocco trip. I booked this riad through Eli, the owner and she was very helpful and friendly prior to our arrival. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Mohammed, the manager of the riad, and we became fast friends! Mohammed is extremely helpful and is happy to make...

I just spent four days at this delightful Riad with a friend and simply cannot fault it. It had been highly recommended by friends who had stayed there before and fully lived up to their high praise. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this and its sister Riad Le coq Berber. We arrived late, picked up from the airport, and had preordered dinner. We were travelling as a family, and the riad arranged a perfect family room for us. As we were arriving late, we arranged for a meal, which we expected would be buffet style, but we got a full three course meal, with a delicious soup, tagine and fruit. Ahmed was a fantastic host, and ensured we knew where to find...

We stayed at the riad with our daughter and her husband and our 7-month-old grand baby, and the entire staff was a delight, so helpful and welcoming. And the riad itself has the air of an historic family home, with multiple terraces for relaxing in the sun and incredible flowers throughout. Mohammed was great, even ordering pizza when the baby...

The service from all staff at the hotel was excellent. So very helpful, friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They contacted us before arrival for location directions and arrival advice. This good advice continued after arrival from Mohammed telling us of local sites, recommended restaurants and safety tips. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coq Fou. It has an ideal location in the heart of the medina with a great view from its many terraces. The riad itself is a quiet oasis with beautiful architecture and pools in the courtyard. Amongst all the members of our party, we stayed in three different rooms, all of which were...
