Riad Slawi lives up to everything that people say about it on Trip Advisor, and more! The place is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were made very welcome by Adam, who also cooked a traditional Moroccan meal for us on two nights - delicious food. Breakfast was great too. The riad is situated well into the medina, so there... We arrived Marrakech and took a taxi straight to Riad Slawi. A carter took us to the door and we were welcomed by Patrick's father, (sorry can;t remember his name now!!). We were given mint tea while we filled in the forms. Our room was long and narrow with a tiny bathroom and shower. There was a tiny fridge and... More

Just returned home after staying 2 nights at Riad Slawi on our first vist visit to Marrakech. An ideal Riad for first time visitors as the manager, Adam, did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Arranged a taxi pick up from the airport and helped with advice and directions. Although the Riad is a some way... More

Slawi is a great budget riad, managed by Adam, who is incredibly helpful to all who come (and especially during the volcanic ash storm, when so many travellers had so many issues to deal with). It has a traditional Moroccan feel and comfortable rooms..definitely worth staying here.

My wife and i stayed at Riad Slawi for 2 nights and it was brilliant. As others have said Adam was extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful, very clean and tidy with drink facilities in a fridge which we hadn't had at other riads. We can't thank Adam and his family enough... More

This Riad is gorgeous. Homely, comfortable, and beautiful. We were greeted with gorgeous mint tea and biscuits, our room was beautiful, quiet as a mouse in the bedroom, the little touches of Moroccan ornaments in the decor made it all the more touching. Such great value, and lovely croissants and bread for breakfast in the morning. I'd have to agree... More

We stayed at this Riad as we saw all the positive comments on Tripadvisor and i must say we were not disappointed. Adam, the host, was fantastic, very helpful with tips of what to see, booking of taxis, how to get around etc. we stayed for 3 days and there was variety in breakfast servings, with awesome jams! The only... More

We really appreciated the kindness and friendliness of Adam and his father Mustapha, who arranged our desert trip and taxis to and from the airport. Nothing was too much trouble, including showing us the way to the souks on our first day, early breakfasts on a couple of mornings, tea and coffee on request, etc. We thought the room was... More

Excellent riad providing first class accommodation, breakfast and evening meal. Adam, his father and the staff could not be more helpfull and considerate to your needs and wishes.Location is good,c;lose to Souks but difficult to find down narrow alleyways until you have done the return trip on foot two or three times! Small Taxi from airport should be no more than... More

The riad is really like being among friends from the first instant, when we were welcome very warmly. The rooms are very clean and wonderfully decorated. The riad is beautifull and the staff are nice and multilingual (French, English, Arab...) and the food is incrdibly good and abundant. The lady who was cooking for us is a fantastic local chef!...
