Palm Plaza Marrakech is often celebrated for its luxurious vibe and elegant surroundings, featuring spacious rooms and picturesque garden landscapes. While guests have called out the hotel for its attentive service, some have experienced occasional lapses. The location is favored by those driving, given its quiet setting and access to nightlife. The amenities, including diverse dining options and wellness facilities, are generally well-received, though not without critique. Despite its cleanliness being a highlight, the value proposition and room conditions have elicited mixed feedback, suggesting a disparity between price and expectations.

Elegant hotel with an amazing lobby. The staff is friendly; both lunch and breakfast were excellent. Beautiful pool area, large room, excellent free WiFi. I don't put my best because I found the Spa very expensive and for other small things, for example, we found two tea bags just arrived but the next day they didn't put it justifying that the bags gave it only on the first day. We also arrived late at night and were due dinner and were left with a modest plate of food in the room. In addition, the safe in the room is for a fee, a 5-star instead should make it available for free.

The Palm Plaza Hotel is an interesting choice for those looking for a relaxing stay outside the center of Marrakech.

The breakfast is great, with a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste.
The rooms are spacious, although a touch of renovation would make the environment even more pleasant.

The location is right for those who have a vehicle available and prefer to stay outside the center.

Upon arrival the reception seems very nice. The tall ceiling and tiling everywhere. Ornaments are beautiful as well. However once you leave the main building it is not all that glorious.

We have been showed to our room which is on the right side of adjoining building. The corridors are fairly old and worn. Doors could do with a touch of paint as well. Moved to first floor where we stayed.

Upon inspection entering the room first thing that hit us the smell of sewerage, which stayed with us all the time. The doors are worn badly to where you have to force them to close. The whole room could do with a lick of paint as the walls are gray on the bottom rather that white. The other drown side of the room is pillows as they are rock hard.

Room service was very good, they changed out towels and made bed sheets. Not to mentioned they moped each day as well.
Staff in general were very pleasant and friendly.

As far as continental breakfast it is honestly perfectly priced. You get fresh omelettes, hard boiled eggs, patisserie, cooked vegetables, general salads, jams, selection of hams and cheeses, coffees, juices and traditional teas. The down side is the menu didn’t change a touch in the entire time. We tried the dinner once and it is not much better. So we didn’t repeat. We hopped to try the Marocan restaurant but it was never open.
Also the reception constantly ran out of cash so we had to exchange elsewhere.

Overall it is not the worst experience but not the best either. Therefore I think 3 stars is sufficient.

This hotel is maybe a 3-star establishment. Although the website claims there are four restaurants, only the buffet is open, and the food selection is very limited and repetitive. The bar service is poor; after ordering a cocktail, the bartender ignored me and served two other people who came after me, one being a man and the other a local. Our ground floor room had a chair missing from the terrace this morning. When we requested an iron, we received a defective, leaking one. The hotel is much smaller than the pictures suggest, with just one pool, and almost everything, including water, comes at an extra cost. The room is a decent size, but everything looks old and desperately needs renovation. There's a kettle in the room, but only two sachets of tea (one green and one black) with no coffee or other options. During my shower, a cleaning lady knocked and entered my room despite my repeated refusals, just to hand me a towel at 6 PM, which seemed unnecessary. State of the tables abd loungers is similar to that of a local pool, dirty and mediocre. I would not recommend this place if you expect a true 5-star experience, as you will be very disappointed. I've already counted 24 planes flying overhead today, and I'm only on day 3 of 7.

The Palm Plaza Hotel is located a few kilometers from the city center, in a new area with many other hotels,
The huge lobby already provides the best: huge and rather luxurious spaces, typical Moroccan architecture with large plants, a large number of sofas for travelers who surely arrive tired from the trip waiting for the allocation of rooms and finally, friendly staff!
Even the exterior keeps all its promises: a sea of plants and flowers that surround the large pool with sun loungers.
The rooms are not very large but equipped with everything you need (sleep is very good); even the bathroom meets the needs.
We had dinner in this large structure and the buffet presents a wide variety of Moroccan and European dishes (even pasta and pizza, for Italians who can not give up even on vacation).
Great service also for breakfast.
Obviously we can only recommend it.

Stayed as part of a tour group for 3 nights at the end of our trip .

Our room was a good size , beds & pillows were comfortable. Storage for clothes was ok . Safe worked .
Sadly no walk in shower although this had been requested .

Our view looked out onto the Main Street , our balcony had one chair . There were workmen on the roof at one point , so a lot of dust & some debris. A very different experience in comparison to some of the photos on their website.

The outside terrace with the pool however was very nice . Sunbeds clean & comfy . Pool easy to enter with a staircase but no handrail. Towels provided.
We had several drinks from the bar on the terrace & also shared a pizza for lunch, which was very nice & the prices were reasonable.

We ate one evening at the buffet in the restaurant. It was ok , nothing amazing but then we only really wanted a snack not a full meal . For over £40 we didn’t think it was good value for the items we ate but I guess that was our fault for not being hungry!!!
Room service was suggested but really didn’t want to sit in a bedroom eating food , as we were unable to use the balcony with only one chair .

We ate elsewhere for dinner the next 2 nights .

Breakfast was a nice surprise. I had an omelette one day which was very good . A great selection of fruit, salad , breads , pastries etc .

Staff were friendly & polite .

There were some good points but felt letdown by the restaurant offering in the evening. I had read on the website there was a Thai Restaurant but that didn’t seem to be open .

Stay from 4 to 8 January low season but the best ..for a quiet rest in the sun
The best quality / price ratio of this hotel 5* construction and decor under hassan II ..probably..
Room and balcony very large ..pool view
THE +++ are
The skills of chefs...cooking meat and shrimp...sauces ..
variety of salads..desserts not very successful
Food quality: fresh vegetables not polluted? tasty and barely cooked to keep vitamins .. easy digestion no stomach pain ..!! So we decided to have dinner every night at the hotel..
each day 1 theme 1 country; example French Spanish Asian Moroccan Italian ...
The table service .is .discreet but efficient smiling warm as at reception we note the fine analysis and anticipation of the needs of customers like us by the Bilal and ADIL team
The SPA and the very clean indoor heated pool deserve a visit
Conclusion
We'll be back
Solange and Jean François

Hotel is fine, clean rooms and comfy. Tennis courts need a bit of tlc.
However on the first day the person at reception offered to organise a taxi for us to the Medina, which cost 350 dirhams return, to be paid cash. We didn't know the cost at that point so agreed and went into town. I found out that (with a bit of negotiations) the beige taxis parked across the road cost between 40-60 dirhams one way. Lesson learnt, do not allow the hotel to organise your trips or taxis as it will be extortionate.

If you are having a drink in the piano bar make sure a male member of the party orders the drinks as when I did it my Mojitos came with no alcohol in them , but when my son ordered for me they had rum in them (same cost)

Having read the reviews I was a little apprehensive about the hotel but all that went as soon as we arrived. The hotel is about 10 mins drive from the airport & very nicely presented on the outside as well as inside. I was allocated a spacious double room overlooking the car park & road it wasn't too noisy, but bear in mind you are on the flight path route so some mornings there are planes about 7am. The staff are very friendly but it would be good to be given some information on amenities in the hotel on arrival as there is no information in the rooms. You can change money at reception & there is also a cashmachine located in the lobby

The room was very clean & lots of wardrobe space, bathroom was nice but quite a high step to get into the bath for a shower. Shower was always hot & good pressure. There is a fridge in the room but not kettle

The breakfast was brilliant, such a variety, would try & avoid the 9am rush though. We ate once in the restaurant for the evening, was expensive for a buffet selection. The Thai wasn't open so can't comment on that one. We had lunch at the snack bar a couple of times, it was basic but nice if you want something quick like a sandwich.

The pool is lovely but not heated, quite a shock to the system! Sunbeds & towels go quite quickly & if you want all day sun then stick to the reception side of the pool. There is a resident dj, he played some quite chilled ibiza type music except on Friday, then it was Arabic disco!! The gardens are beautifully maintained around the pool

There is a shop across the road for water & snacks and further along the road a really nice shopping mall (can recommend the Italian for a meal!) There is also a big carrefour inside as well. Outside the hotel are taxis, a lot easier to get to the medina which is about 15 mins drive.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
