I spent just one night in Riad Alwachma and had one of the cheapest rooms, since only they were still available. I was really positively surprised. The place is very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is very helpful and nice and they serve delicious food. I really recommend it.

A great little place - a bit out of the way, but only 15 mins walk to the Main Square, and a nice escape from it. The French couple/owners are extremely friendly and helpful, as are the Moroccan staff - whatever you ask for they seem to manage (use of pc, late check out, use of facilities after you've checked...

Rida Alwachma is in walking distance from the souks and Djemaa Al Fna but not in the middle of the old city. For that, the hotel is pretty quiet (except that during our stay there were construction work on the small road in front of the hotel which started early). Staff is friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast on the roof...

We spent 3 nights in Riad Alwachma and can't find a bad word to say. We stayed in the Ghislane suite which was perfect for us. The room has many traditional features and was very comfortable and spacious. The children's bed was a full size single bed and very comfortable. The roof terrace was beautiful with views of Katoubia minaret...

I definately recommend a visit to this beautiful and serene riad. Perfectly located for visiting the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh but enter the riad and the peace is amazing. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The terrace and courtyard are very relaxing. The staff are most helpful and pleasant. A truely serene retreat in such a busy city.

The Riad Alwachma is a refinedly restored old Riad. A great pleasure, full of peace and good taste. And full of beautiful flowers!

Not far (approximately 8 minute walk) from the hustle-bustle of Djemma El Fna, this Riad is clean , quiet, and well run, for a reasonable price. We extended a tour of Morocco an extra day so that we could experience this Riad. The french couple that operate the Riad are welcoming, friendly, and despite their relatively short time in the...
