Charming, very comfortable place to stay. It is walking distance to Djema el Fna and the souks. We were made to feel at home and would go back. The food and service was excellent. Speaking French is an advantage and is very much appreciated. Most people speak or at least understand some English.

Riad Dama was for my sis and I, the right choice! Spending one week in Marrakech, this Riad turned into our home away from home. The relatively new owners were excellent and beyond... Speaking French is an advantage, but you get by with English. They showed us around in the Medina, they cooked for us in the afternoon if we... More

Within walking distance from the Jama El Fna but not in a less busy and touristy part of town. The Riad is very comfortable, not luxurious but has a lot of charm and authenticity and this makes it a very nice place to relax and feel the atmosphere of the town. The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful to... More

The front door of Riad Dama resembles the entrance to some sort of mediaeval dungeon. The newly arrived traveller might be tempted to mutter "abandon hope all ye who enter here" on arrival at the fortress-like building. Fortunately, first impressions are highly deceptive and the mediaeval dungeon look gives way to a mediaeval palace as soon as the threshold is... More

Riad Dama is located in the old Medina. The Streets or more alleys surrounding the Riad are full of workshops and little stores where the locals try to make a living and It's not the most pleasing sight to be honest. But once inside the Riad everything was forgotten. There's a nice Morrocan atmospere and the staff is simply great.... More

We didn't book anything beyond our first night when in Marrakech, the owner of our first Riad didn't have any room for us after our booked night so he kindly brought us to Riad Dama where they had space and graciously welcomed us. There were 4 of us spread across two comfortable rooms. The location was great, the little courtyard... More

A really lovely Riad about 10 minutes from the main square, walking through the bustlingly busy streets of Marrakech Souks, filled with sellers, street-vendors and traffic(!). When we stayed, we were the only guests and had free-run of the sun lounge terrace and the staff were incredibly accommodating, particularly in arranging day trips and taxis. A few extra things to... The Riat Dama was recommended to us by British Airways as a three star authentic Riad (An four walled, courtyard hotel in the old town of Marrakech). The hotel is small but in walking distance to all that you need to do in Marrakech. The rooms are clean, albeit relatively small, but they are reasonable appointed and the bathrooms are... More

The outside of this riad does not look promising, although it is in keeping with the surrounding area; however once inside you step into a lovely traditional riad, with a pleasant courtyard and beautiful roof garden with flowers and shrubs. Our room was as expected, a traditional Moroccan experience. The staff here are the main draw - so pleasant and... More

We've just returned from Riad Dama, and I have to say, is very good. The staff is very helpful, and the location is great: 15min walf from the Square, but do not be afraid to get lost as you don't have to go through alleys.
