Second stay in Assakina and 2nd 5* review! I sometimes wonder if I'm looking for disappointment by returning somewhere that proved to be so good 1st time around - thankfully Assakina did not let us down. We did struggle with other aspects of our visit, including the weather and pre booked trips not taking place, but Michele and the team... More

First visit to Marrakech so did masses of research to find the 'right riad'. After getting to a short list, we decided on Riad Assakina on the strength of other Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed! An absolute oasis in the chaos of the Medina. Beautifully furnished, great staff, delicious breakfasts. The added value is provided by Michele who... More

This was my 3rd visit in as many years and it is even more fabulous. Michele is the perfect hostess and her staff are wonderful. They ensure a relaxing stress free visit. I have noticed that Michele is constantly enhancing the services at the Riad in small but wonderful ways THANK YOU

Stayed here 3 nights in December - our first time in Marrakech Despite the fact that the remainder of the riad was occupied by a party celebrating a 50th birthday we were not neglected in any way - in fact all of the staff looked after us extremely well and were all very friendly and helpful This riad has been... We recently stayed at this beautiful Riad, such a treat In fact it was a special Birthday treat. It was a real struggle dragging ourselves away from the restful tranquillity of the Riad into the hubbub of Marrakech every day! The info pack and the additional tips received from the staff were extremely helpful (directions on how to get to... More

Everything about Riad Assakina was impeccable, from the decor and ambience, cleanliness of the rooms, to the way you were treated by the Riad owner Michele and her team. We were so well looked after by Michele and all her smiling staff. Our trips, shopping, meals, spa visit were all arranged for us leaving us to enjoy ourselves and work hard at sipping wine in the sun on the roof terrace. We had a lovely dinner in one night and excellent French toast breakfast!

Elegant, stylish and very authentic Riad, beautifully restored in exceptionally good taste. Location 10-15 minutes’ cozy Medina walk to Djema-El-Fna is ideal. Owner Michele is extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She was there to help us with any query we had, and lots of valuable tips and recommendations as to where to eat, where to shop in the souks, and... More

In general, we really appreciated our stay at this riad and we overall rated it very good. We would have like to rate it as good but no intermediate rating stop were available between average and very good. The details that will require more attention are the bathrooms. The quality of the amenities is significantly lower than the competition, plumbing... More

We have absolutely no record or recollection of any clients from Bangkok ever having stayed with us. Nevertheless, on the assumption that the review might somehow be genuine, it is certainly worth responding to. Our plumbing is new, our beds are the finest (super-king size, imported from the UK) and our bed linen is 100% pure Egyptian cotton. We take... More
