I stayed in this riad for 4 months (October until the end of February), i was currently based in marrakesh as an expat. This is an amazing riad. And one of the best hotels i stayed in. The staff does an amazing job, you can ask them almost anything they will be glad to assist. The rooms are comfortable and...

A fantastic Riad with an incredibly friendly staff and a one of a kind manager. The food served at the Riad is delicious, serving typical Moroccan dishes. Many different excursions available to please everyone's preferences on how to spend the vacation. Very quiet and clean bedrooms, with amazing furniture. The rooftop is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch or a...

Went to Marrakesh for vacation with my girlfriend and couldn't be happier about staying there at Dar Sholmes, the location is great, quiet and filled with the architecture and culture of Marrakesh (an authentic home for an authentic destination). They helped us booking tours and gave us great recommendations of what to visit and where to get great food, even...

We arrived a day early in Marrakesh, and we decided to get the "medina experience" since we were moving to the luxury Mamounia the following day. Dar SHolmes is just on the other side of the wall of the huge garden at Mamounia, but it was as far as away walking from one to the other as the gap in...

I'll start with the bad aspect. It is a little bit far from the main square (Djemaa el Fna), about 10/15 min walking, and is impossible get a taxi from the hotel, as it is in a really narrow street. However, the Riad is amazing. Special star to the staff, always ready to help and the breakfast, which is delicious.

Our stay here was completely by chance, but boy are we glad we found this little gem. We had originally paid for and booked with another riad close to Dar Sholmes however once we arrived we were told they were over booked (very unprofessional) and were escorted to Dar Sholmes instead. At the beginning we could not understand why this...

First of all their staffs were amazing! They were really polite and always smiling! The breakfast was delicious, everything was home made: bread, pancakes, mint tea... Also, the room was really good and clean! Just ask to a quite room cause I stayed in a room which was beside the living room and was a bit noisy. About the location,...
