My wife and I spent three night at this chic yet warm riad. John and Elizabeth were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our first night saw us eat in the riad itself, on the roof terrace. Although Marrakesh has an abundance of excellent eateries I would highly recommend at least one...

We booked a room at the Riad Elizabeth for our first trip to north africa and it was apparrant that we had booked the right place from the start. Prior to our arrival John and Elizabeth (the owners) emailed us and arranged a transfer with a friendly english speaking driver who pointed our a few of the sights on the...

A celebratory birthday dinner was waiting our arrival at this beautiful riad. The manager was exceptionally kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The following morning we met Elizabeth who promptly guided us through the souks with map in hand. Nothing was too much trouble, both John and Elizabeth were wonderful hosts and were always on hand to...

We arrived late in the evening and John, one of the owners had already placed a reservation for us at a local restaurant (he did this because he knew most places book out). This style of hosting continued throughout our trip, anticipating our needs, but without any pressure, I felt like I could have easily gone to another restaurant that...

We had a fabulous time in Marrakech and enjoyed our stay at Riad Elizabeth, however, there were a few niggly issues that need ironing out. Firstly the positives - communications for booking and arranging transfers etc couldn't have been been better, the riad is beautifully restored and is tastefully decorated, it's in a good location for the souks and is...

From the moment we arrived slightly shell shocked in Marrakech John and Elizabeth made us feel very very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them from the tour to the central square or booking a hamam for us. There were only one slight problem, the light in the bathroom was a bit tempramental, so a visit to the toilet...

At the risk of sounding boring, after all the wonderful reviews we have read of Riad Elizabeth, this place is truly wonderful. The owners are exceptionally kind and helpful...even answering my (many) questions prior to the visit, and sorting out all our trip and restaurant requests. The Riad is gorgeous, and John and Elizabeth do their very best to make...

We would like to thank you for all the positive remarks made about Riad Elizabeth. We had already scheduled a linen buying trip, though all the sheets and towels are only 18 months old, we realise that they all need replacing. The youths that are in all areas of the Medina looking for an opportunity to make money as unofficial...

If you want peace, luxury, excellent food, charming & engaging staff who smile, sing and chatter as they go about their daily duties, giving the place a feel of 'home from home'. Hosts for whom nothing is impossible or too much trouble to arrange, a perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of the main square, but yet close...
