The room is ok but the breakfast has been very disappointing. I have been put in a back room with a poor selection of items. Compared with the main breakfast buffet, with a wide selection of juices and breakfast items, including serving dishes of cooked items, there is little here. No fruit, no cappuccino etc. Very disappointing.

I have a mixed feelings about 4 nights stay in this hotel. As I was a part of a group I had a full board arranged. Entrance area and a swimming pool were pleasant surprise as you have a small park on the left with a swimming pool and cafeteria on the right plus some citrus trees behined the hotel. Also lobby is nice. Rooms were a mixed story. Some of them neglected more than the others but my room was OK. It was clean and there was a safe as well. Bathroom really does not fit to a 4 star hotel anywhere, as shower had no curtain or a door and wet floor is quite slippery. Drainage of the sink was bad. Some of the rooms have a view on the pool and that is probably the best view. My room was overlooking the back side and my wife was not happy with the view, however for me aside of the closest vicinity it was interesting enough with mountains in the back. AC (used to heat the room during the night) was not brilliant but was OK. Food for breakfast and dinner was fine and with a large choice, including fresh cucumber, carrot and beetroot juices and Morrocan specialites. There is a bus several times a day to take you downtown for 15 dirhams, alternative is taxi and you have to bargain heavily to get the price at more or less normal level (50 dirhams to Majorelle garden and some of the drivers asked for 150). City center we agreed for 80 even we were told that one is to be 50 too, but frankly the ride did take a while. There is nothing worth to see around the hotel and a small shop (where you can buy water) is just across the street. In that same building on its left side you can find ATM as hotel reception exchanges money only after 11am - or at least that is what some of the members of my group were told. This all was more on a positive side which could potentially make this hotel really be 4 star hotel. Do bear on mind it is far, far away from anything. However, attitude of some personnel was disappointing. Being there also for a New Years eve, we were not told (neither our agency) that a hotel is preparing celebration. Thus our group was mistreated in respect of the dinner which was shifted for later (and we were advised 3 different times) and finally squeezed on a gallery and tables were taken away even while members of the group were eating. Head of the hall mocked with our guide who objected that we paid for the dinner ("How much did you pay?"). Guide went to complain to a lady - finance director who seemed to be ashamed but only to the extent to say "I am sorry". By the way, I waited together with several other people some 15 minutes to get a spoon for the soup, asking 6 different waiters to bring spoons as they were out - they would say yes, go away and forget about the spoons, but still found time to make selfies of themselves. Anyhow, we were given a corner in the garden and had fires to warm us up but neither finance director or a director of a hotel who we saw later on in the garden found it appropriate to approach us and wish us a happy New year. Reading some other comments I see there are probably some relation to guests issues in general that would need to be addressed.

This has been the absolute worst experience for me and my family in Marrakech. The hotel obviously has an issue with dark skin people/Black people from any country! We arrived after Midnight due to our transportation. We were told they couldn’t accommodate our child because she was not an infant! She’s 11. They said the maximum age for a child is 6 months and anything over need another room! What kind of crazy are these people. We was also told it was against hotel policy to eat or drink anything in the lobby if it didn’t come from their restaurant. We had a SODA! These people are insane. The room was terrible and the beds we small and dirty! If you decide to come bring your own towels and sheets. Their towels are hard and old! The sheets have stains! The toilet was gross and the sink was stopped up and has a film of dirt that can’t be removed. We found a silverfish in the bathtub. It’s a motel at best! Housekeeping stole our adapter! Don’t come.

Even is situated far from old center, Wazo is an excellent hotel. Clean rooms, balconies for half of the rooms, swimming pool and very reliable staff. A lot of shops close enough, including a huge supermarket. Breakfast and restaurant excellent. Everything fresh and well cooked. Next door taxies to go in the old city for about 10 euro.
