The riad is beautiful and it's location is perfect, very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa, restaurants, spas and attractions. The staff is very nice and the breakfast by the pool very good as well, however it does not included any protein. Overall, very good stay with a comfortable room, would stay here again! However, we did have a big disappointment with a tour guide the riad arranged for us. The city tour consisted in walking behind the guide for around 3 without him giving us any history, insights or information about the city. We love history, cultures and religions and he did not explain a thing, even when we asked him questions — so be careful with the guide recommendation the riad gives you!
We've just returned home from a week stay here. Its hard to put in order the best bit about this raid. Staff are wonderful, super helpful friendly. Sophie husband so very helpful with sorting out transfer at end of stay, Perfect location very quiet but 2 minutes to main square. Clean, comfortable brilliant shower lovely roof terrace. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting marrakesh
Had the most amazing stay at this hotel. Myself and my boyfriend stayed for a week and loved it. The staff were so helpful and kind and the service was great. The riad itself is stunning and the rooms are comfortable and lovely. The breakfast and dinners served here are divine. The location is perfect as it is 5 mins walk to the main square. I would highly recommend this hotel, I have no negative comments!
Stayed with my family in the Suite Orchidee, really gorgeous room with a lot of character and enough space for 2 adults plus an 11 and 13 year old. The shower and sink were in the room which we were very happy with (huge amount of character!) but might not suit every family. Sophie and team were super friendly and accommodating (early check in/late check out) and the food was freshly prepared and delicious. My only gripe would be that communication prior to our trip could have been improved upon. Nevertheless I'd still recommend 100% - a calm oasis!
We were 3 girls travelling, we had the Suite on the last floor. Gorgeous rooms and clean. Hassan was lovely and was able to help us with every questions we had. The only issue we had with the hotel was the communication before our arrival. i sent an email requesting airport pick up and drop off, no reply. i send 2 reminders after that, still nothing. i then decided to call, i had a lady on the phone who asked to text her via whatsapp instead. which i promptly did, the message was read but no reply. i had to send several reminders. At the end i had a quick message saying, 'ok, it's comfirmed" no apologies whatsoever. upon our arrival, we waited inside the airport as no instructions were given as to where the driver will be waiting. i've texted the same number/called still no reply. then i sent a message saying we will take another cab to which she replied telling me to call another number. It was a bad start of the trip. luckily Hassan made up for it atour arrival. The breakfast is just ok...breads/marrocan pancakes tea/coffee with jams. some day you'd have fruit on another just yoghurt. keep in mind, that you have to pay a city tax of 2.5EUR per person per day at check out.…
Really enjoyed our stay at this quaint Riad which is located just a few minutes away from the main square. We were a group of 9 ladies and it felt like we were a house guest rather than staying in a hotel. Lasaan took great care of us all, nothing was too much trouble, he really was a star! Rachid was there on the last day, ending our stay with great service. The rooms were clean and we had extra blankets and quilts if needed. Breakfast was lovely and we really enjoyed the fresh juices and pastries. We also asked for eggs which were provided each morning. I would highly recommend this peaceful Riad and will definitely be staying here again. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one!
We had wonderful time at Riad Les Hibiscus, where we stayed for 2 night. After walking through the square and the suk in the way to our Riad (the closest car access is to the square which is about 5 min walk), we were overwhelmed by the amount of people, stores, noise. Arriving to this road located at the end of a narrow alley was welcomed relieve. As soon as the outer doors were closed, we were enveloped with tranquility and hospitality of this place. What we loved about this Riad: * the location - very close to the main square * warm hospitality upon arrival with mint tea and cookies, and a calming voice of the host welcoming us to Marrakech and the Riad * good home cooked dinner - lemon/chicken tagine dinner that we had dinner n the 2nd night at the Riad which we could smell way in advance as the cook prepared it. (They don’t serve alcohol but you may bring your own.) * abundant breakfast on both the mornings served by the pool * lovely calming decor in white/light green colors that made the place look and feel like we’ve arrived home - with unique pieces of local art * beautiful rooftop terrace that is so high it enables to see the city roofs and the beautiful sunsets We appreciated feeling welcomed, safe and secure in this Riad. Thank you for having us! We’ll recommend this place to our friends and family! …
My dad and I had a fantastic stay at Riad les hibiscus. We visited for the Marrakech marathon and could not have been happier about our accomodation. The riad is everything you'd expect from a traditional property recently renovated. It's located a stone's throw for the famous Jemaa El-Fnaa market, in the heart of the Medina. Our room was super comfortable, warm, cosy and functional. The breakfast was surreal and very filling (especially important for someone preparing for a marathon!) What makes our stay truly special and enjoyable would have to be the staff - they were all you would hope and more: attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, ready to go the extra mile, and super super helpful. I fully intend to come back there next time I'll visit Marrakech!
Nothing too much. Great communication. Very clear, tidy. Breakfast very reasonable. Had an evening meal at the hotel which was of high standard also. Hotel arranged excursions and a hammam at very reasonable prices for us. No complaints at all. Would stay again.
Never actually got to stay here. One day before my flight and reservation they messaged me that they no longer had a vacancy. They were very responsive and booked us at a nearby Dar and comped aiport transport, BUT when we got there after an 8+hour journey, they told us that they would be moving us again to a different Riad. Granted this was down the street, but it wasn't what I wanted. It was a very serviceable riad but I was hoping for a more comfortable setting-which was why I booked Les Hibiscus in the first place. Again, the reception at Les Hibiscus was really nice, refunded us the difference in price between the two riads, and offered to let us hang out at there, but it was quite irritating to have our lodging disrupted one day before the trip. So if you book Les Hibiscus online (I used Booking.com) maybe have a Plan B and Plan C.…
